As well as can be expected. Surcharge added after they saw the size of the load, but I expected that.

Not good was late, got lost. quote was disputed by pickup personnel, asked for more money twice.

The company came, and the owner Tom was very professional, appreciated that we had everything ready to be picked up and hauled to the truck. It went very quickly and I was so happy to get my things hauled away and not have to do it ourselves (thank you Angie's list!) ,

A1 showed up on time, very professional, quoted me a price to take ALL the junk I had in addition to what I had paid for on Angie's list and I felt it was very fair. They even took an old tire, paint cans, old propane tanks, and some chemicals. I had large items such as bikes, a broken folding table, shower doors, wheelbarrows, toilet & sink, etc. They loaded everything and then swept up the garage!

Excellent! They also hauled away other items that I no longer needed! They later performed similar services for my neighbor.

Very easy to work with and schedule a time. They called 30 minutes before and arrived on time. The cleaned everything up and cleaned the area after they were finished.

They called to let me know when they were going to arrive. They picked up all the debris requested and then asked if I wanted them to remove a couple of additional items that I had not specifically identified.

Arrival time was between 12pm and 3pm. I got a text about 11:30am asking if they could come a few minutes earlier as they were in the neighborhood. I agreed. Two men arrived and and one introduced himself as Larry. He asked what I wanted to have taken away. I showed him and they got right to work. They were polite and courtious and had everything loaded in a few minutes. I thanked them and they went on their way.

I paid the online Angie's list price of $99 - which indicated the service was provided in my zip code. At the time of scheduling, however, the owner called and said we were out of the service area and the cost would be an additional $50 at time of service being performed. We scheduled the pick-up - they arrived early (called first to confirm time was ok), and removed all items. No issues with the team who performed the work. Did not expect the extra surcharge, especially since we entered our zip code at the time of paying for the service

Am tempted to say that i would not rehire this company. While it was a good deal (Angie's List special, 4 cu yards for $99), i was disappointed on many levels and should rate them lower. Arrived after 3:00 for scheduled 9 to noon pick up. Traipsed mud and some oily stain through the house (took 2 hours to scrub out all the spots). Scraped the new paint on the front door (was just painted 6 weeks ago) and left a large, dark hand print on an interior wall. On the positive side, they were prompt in their scheduling process, courteous in person, and called when they knew they were going to be late.

It went great. Scheduling was pretty easy. (I didn't reach anyone when I phoned, but I received a call back just a few minutes later.) Tom phoned 30 minutes before he and Paul showed up, and they arrived right at the beginning of the scheduled 3-hour window. They took everything I wanted them to, including a couple of things I wasn't sure whether they would be allowed to take. They worked quickly and were friendly. I would definitely hire them again.

There were some unexpected upcharges. I guess their ad should state that TV’s and Computers were extras

They called and asked to come earlier than I expected but it went okay. They were professional and respectful. Moved things out quickly and efficiently.

A1 Hauling is by far the best hauling service I have ever used, and I've used others. They arrived on time, discussed my wishes, worked competently and were very organized, with no wasted moves. At my request they showed me each item to allow me to decide whether I wanted to keep it after all, or have them take it. I really appreciate them!

A-1 Hauling did a great job. There was clear communication. They showed up on time and handled everything with little input from me. It was money well spent. I would hire them again in a second.

I was basically happy with the work done, and certainly happy with the price. However, after specifically stating on the phone that I had wood debris to get rid of, they showed up in a truck that was on its way to the dump. I still managed to get rid of 4 yards of junk, but the wood had been my priority and now it still needs to get done. Also, dude blamed me for texting him the wrong address when he had just entered it into GPS incorrectly. On the plus side, they were on time and friendly.

The owner did the job himself, and he did it fabulously! He had to dismantle and haul an ancient refrigerator out of my my basement. It was no easy task, but he did it with ease. He also carted off some other junk I had there. He even cleaned the basement floor where the refrigerator had been, which was no small matter since it had been there over 30 years. Without a doubt I'll use them again.
