Description of Work: With the demo of a long vacant house with a dirt basement I was concerned about rats. I called Alpha and the tech was timely and professional. We discussed a couple of options and suggestions for changes I could make. He left a number of bait traps throughout my property. I haven't seen any evidence of rodents...very happy customer.

Description of Work: I used this service to erradicate sugar ants in my home, between 11/25/11 and 4/23/12. I was on their bi-monthly service plan, but the ants always showed back up earlier. After waiting the first time, I kept calling them back for interim treatments, which they did free (to their credit), but never did get to the point of even erradicating the ants for the full 2 months between visits. Reasons varied from trying something stronger the previous tech didn't use, it's just that time of year, or the flowers on one side of my house (20' long flower bed) touching the side of the house (but the last tech put in writing to me that this was not the "determining factor", before recommending monthly service. Their price seemed fine, their people friendly, but they just didn't get the job done.

Description of Work: I have been using this company for years, ever since I had a large fir tree infested with carpenter ants. I had to have the tree removed, but as I live in a wooded area I have this company come 4 times a year and treat for carpenter ants and termites- also had mice in my attic so they check and fill bait boxes both inside the attic and outside my home. They are on time, do a thorough job and explain any questions I may have. I am satisfied with the work they do and like the fact that they treatment is not harmful to the environment . i would recommend them

Description of Work: They came out to spray every two months to treat ants. They took care of me anytime I saw ants after they were here for a treatment. They are a larger organization and I will probably work with a smaller organization in the future.

Description of Work: We had an ant problem at the beginning of the summer. We called them, they came right out and sprayed. They recommended a three visit approach. They automatically come back in 30 days. If you need them, they will come a third time. The service includes the third visit, but we didn't need the third visit!

Description of Work: We originally had called alpha concerned that squirrels or cats were living under our house. The sales person was honest and understanding and he let us know that it would be beneficial to have an inspection first so we weren't charged for something we didn't have. We got same day service! A nice gentleman came out and he was there exactly at the time that he said he was. He immediately got in our crawl and determined that we had a major infestation of rats. He even took me and my nephew down there and showed us the damage. We paid $2500 for all the insulation to be removed and replaced, rodents killed, decontamination and even air duct cleaning! Now we have clean air, a beautiful crawl space and haven't seen or heard a rat since! We recommend alpha to everyone!

+ -1 moreHAD A LARGE WASP NEST THAT WE NOTICED ON THE TOP PART OF OUR 2 STORY HOME, OUTSIDE. THEY WERE NOT SURE IF THEY COULD REMOVE IT, AS 18 FEET IS ABOUT THE HIGHEST THEY COULD GO. THEY WERE ABLE TO KILL THEM OFF WITH SPRAY AND ONCE COMPLETED THEY WERE ABLE TO REMOVE THE NEST COMPLETELY. THEY DISPOSED THE NEST THEMSELVES. TOOK ABOUT AN HOUR TOTAL TO COMPLETE. THEY ALSO GAVE IMPORTANT ADVICE ON KEEPING THE WASPS AWAY. I FOUND THEM EXTREMELY HELPFUL, AS WE HAVE MANY OF THESE IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD.
Description of Work: CAME OUT TO SPRAY A WASP NEST THAT WAS LOCATED ON THE TOP PART OF THE HOME, ABOUT 18 FEET UP. ONCE THEY KILLED THEM WITH THE SPRAY, THEY THEN REMOVED THE NEST AND DISPOSED OF IT THEMSELVES.
