Description of Work: Our washing machine was not getting inflow of hot water. The technician knew immediately the the hoses were the problem. He changed the hoses and all worked well.

Description of Work: They accurately identified the problem with our electric dryer (it wasn't heating up) and got the needed part (which was not in their inventory) and completed the repair within 2 days. Very professional to work with and they were very prompt,

Description of Work: The repairman came out to look over our refrigerator which had quit two days previously. He did a comprehensive test and discovered that the compressor was out. He gave an estimate for repairs, and gave good advice about the likelihood of it breaking down again. He gave me great direction about what brands I should be looking for if we decided to purchase a new fridge. The repair costs was almost equal to buying a new fridge, so we opted to buy a new one. But I really appreciated the time he spent explaining what we should be looking for and why.

Description of Work: Our dishwasher had stopped dissolving the dishwasher tablets we were using; we assumed that the heating element had stopped working. The Appliance Clinic repairman determined that the element was fine but that the water temperature was too low; he advised checking the setting on the water heater and turning it up if necessary, perhaps wrapping the pipes under the house, using a different setting on the dishwasher and changing brands of dishwasher soap, as the one we were using has a reputation for clogging filters. He cleaned the filter for us as well. Turning up the water heater a bit and changing brands of soap has fixed the problem.

Description of Work: Bought a new range. Wendy worked with me. i had done some research and knew what i wanted. When I said that i wanted to wait until they had one year free interest special, she said fine. a few weeks later she called me. The range had a few immediacies problems, and they were very prompt to correct them. We have bought many appliances from them, for our own use and for rentals. They have always been knowledgeable and responsive. We have also used them for repairs.

Description of Work: Amana refrigerator/freezer icemaker not working. Icemaker repaired instead of full replacement. There were challenges to fixing it but Steve B was dedicated to making it work for me before the long Memorial Day weekend.

Description of Work: My washing machine started givng off a strong burning smell in the middle of a load of laundry. I stopped the washer, and called Steve at The Appliance Clinic the morning of April 9th. He came out later that day, found a belt that needed to be replaced, and completed the repair quickly. My washer has been working fine ever since.

Description of Work: this dishwasher replaced a dishwasher whose parts were no longer available or more expensive than a new one would cost. I wanted a good quality, stainless steel with simple features such as a good drying system and hot water washing. I also want to upgrade the top and bottom rack, as they were of cheap quality and did not meet my needs. New racks were ordered and the machine was installed. When the racks came, the racks would not fit the machine they had installed in my home. Infect, the machine they installed, was not the one I have looked at or bought in the show room. The store found that they could not install these racks in the machine they had installed. They would not correct the problem or make the order right. They refunded the cost of additional racks, put the old one back, and that was the end of matter as far as they were concerned. I found the reason they would not fit was the dishwasher was manufactured in Mexico and the racks were manufactured elsewhere. I was also sold on the feature that the coffee cups would not have cycle water standing in the top of the cup after the drying . The machine, they installed, does not have that feature as my coffee cups still have standing water. I was impressed with the repair person who came to repair the old machine. He was courteous and informative. He was right tat we needed a new machine. We went to Appliance Clinic as his recommendation. We need a new refrigerate, but I hesitate to return to their store. . I wish to patronize my local merchants, but with the quality of his products and the service , I hesitate to go there again ,

Description of Work: Our washing machine was making a loud sound like an electrical arc. Called the Appliance Clinic to come and check it out.

Description of Work: My freezer froze up (it's a defrost) which compromised the frig. Steve came out, found the problem, ordered the part and returned exactly when he said he would and fixed it. He had been here once before a couple of years ago and fixed my dishwasher. I was more than satisfied both times and would not hesitate to call them again
