Description of Work: After suspecting a broken water pipe, we called them to find it. Despite it being very busy (lots of water issues then in Vancouver), they were out as soon as possible, found the pipe, and capped it. Recommended we contact a water damage company right away. We did and problem being worked on now. Summerson was very honest, clear communication, considerate and reasonable in price for all they did. Will recommend and would use again myself in a heartbeat!

Description of Work: The water line from the meter to the house leaked. When our water bill began to go up I thought it was due to our personal usage. A neighbour called in Summerson to replace his water line. I talked to the crew chief for Summerson about my usage. A test revealed that our line was leaking also. We negotiated a price for doing the replacement immediately and his crew got to it. Overall, very good service at a fair price.

His crew are friendly and considerate people who also do what they are retained to do in a professional manner. I would retain Matt Summerson and his crew again should we have future plumbing needs.
Description of Work: The main water line from meter to house leaked. My neighbor had the same problem and retained Summerson to replace his water line. Matt and I engaged in a conversation re the fact that my line was leaking as well. On my request he wrote up and estimate. I accepted and his crew immediately began the appropriate procedures to correct my problem. All was done as per the estimate, including cleaning up.

 + -1 moreMatt was very efficient in his work. He recommended his electrician friend, West Coast Electric, to do the electrical hookup. Matt noticed that the water pressure was very high in the house. He checked it and found it was 120psi instead of the recommended 80psi. He said that the very high pressure could have damaged the fittings and valves and contributed so other water leaks that we've had. He recommended installing a pressure reducing unit which he did. We are grateful that he checked the water pressure as we didn't know it was too high and could cause water leaks. We also asked him to do another plumbing project for us.
Description of Work: Our tankless hot water heater sprung a leak. It was located between the studs in the wall so we didn't know it was leaking until the carpet got soaked. Since the manufacturer of the tankless unit was out of business and this was the second time it leaked, we asked Matt to research and purchase a new one. This one is mounted on the outside of the wall. If it should leak we will see it right a way. The cost of the work included the purchase of the new tankless water heater.
