The first two experiences I had with them were wonderful. The experience was great, their prices were perfect. We talked to the owner and he was a real gem. We wanted to use them again for another project but the pricing was way too high. We had a brand new microwave and double oven and the boss told me that we had to double wire a double oven and it would be about $1200.00. Estimate was way too high so I got a second opinion and had the work done for $400.00, which made me lose trust in Prairie Electric Inc.

The response was very quick and completed on the day that I called. Paul was the electrician that came to my rescue. He was very polite, courteous, and was able to solve the problem relatively quickly. I would definately use Prairie Electric again.

I called to inquire how much to replace 2 old motion detectors outside my home. The person I talked to was very courteous and helpful, advising me to go purchase them myself to save money, and what to look for when shopping. I did as he suggested, and when I called to tell him I had them, he sent out a workman to hang them that day. I was very satisfied with their service, and consideration in trying to save me money.

Called Prairie and got prompt appointment. Technician came out was polite and efficient in getting work done: turned out to be old wiring that pulled away from connector. Unit replaced with new outlet and back in service.

I would recommend Prairie Electric to everyone. They were prompt, courteous, and very fair in their cost. They also left our property in great shape which was no easy task considering the weather.

They come out quickly, with in a few days. They always do the job, they are on time, and they get the job done. They are very reliable and the work has always been very good.

It went well. I asked for an estimate that included replacing an existing bath fan, installing a can light in a shower ( they'd wired for it previously) and replacing two other lights with led can lights. The estimate for the two replacements was far too high for my budget ( I think I was overly optimistic about how much the cost of led fixtures has dropped), so I didn't have that done. The other jobs were doing quickly and cleanly. However, I can't give them a top rating because the new fan required four-inch ducting, and the existing fan only used three inch, so the electrician left it without attaching the ducting. I had supplied the fan, but it just seems logical that they'd have a few of the essentials of installation with them, like a few sections of different sizes of Ducting. I cannot use the fan when the shower is running so that I don't pump moisture into the crawl space, until I get a chance to go up and install new ducting myself.

Prairie Electric serviced some outdoor lighting that had been installed (by someone else) approximately 10 years ago. Some of the circuits were out and some of the lights were bad. Dean, the person who came out, fixed the problems quickly and efficiently; all the lights work now. Dean was friendly and professional and explained clearly what he was doing and what he found. I was surprised at how quickly he got all of the problems resolved. Note that the cost was almost entirely labor as I had all the spare bulbs and lights on hand. He did supply some wire nuts suitable for use underground that were superior to the ones I had on hand. I am very happy with the work and the price--I had expected a much higher price--and will gladly use them in future.

I have had to place any electrical work on hold.

,The electrician tested the circuit, found the defective wiring (from 13 years ago), and rewired the circuit properly.. Excellent job!

The total cost of the electrical project is around $6,100. I was so impressed with the work they did for me on the electrical rough-in that I asked them to return to do the electrical trim-out. Their workers are very professional, pricing was reasonable, and the work was completed on time. I would certainly recommend them and use them for future work.

I called Tom to ask him to come fix our 5 sockets that have been out. Instead of coming out and charging me money, he was so kind and helped me to fix the problem myself while on the phone with him. He was very professional and friendly. I plan to call him again in the future when we need more electrical work done.

I sent an email request for a bid on Fri, received a call with a bid from owner Tom Lindberg Mon morning, and the work was scheduled for the following Mon. Electrician Dean arrived on time and completed the work in under an hour including clean-up. He also made a quick repair of a ceiling light fixture. He was extremely knowledgeable about fire/smoke/CO2 alarms, very personable, and he answered all my questions. This was an A+ service!

Again, loved them! I'll definitely call them again! They even offered same day service.
