The first time I tried to call I got forwarded to somebody's phone which just rang and rang. So instead I filled out their service request form on their website. The called me back before 9am the next day. We set up an appointment for the next Thursday. They took the time to understand the specific job, as other companies I called heard "ceiling fan" and seemed to assume that it was just a simple replacement of an existing light with a fan. Two guys arrived right on time at 8:30am on the day of service. They got right to work and the whole thing, including going up in the attic and fishing the wires, was done in about an hour and half. They even vacuumed the carpet after they were done.

They arrived early at 8:30 am, I was expecting them at 9 am. They were scheduled for 2.5 days of work, which was completed by 3:30 pm on the first day. The night before we marked the outlets and where we wanted circuits added with blue masking tape. When they arrived, we walked through the house, and all the work, and we reviewed the quote. The Electricity was turned off at 9:15 or so. We left to go to a caf at 9:30, with the intent to return by 2 pm. We made it back at 3 pm, and they had already started to clean up at that point. They had finished all the quoted work, except for converting the last outlet to it's own circuit. They had wanted to discuss the except implementation with me before finishing for the day. After discussing, they decided to finish it then and there, rather than coming back for one circuit the next day. In all, they finished it in less than 20 minutes. We spent an additional 30 minutes reviewing the work, and going over the new electrical panel.

They came exactly when expected, calling to say they were on the way. Were here less than thirty minutes and were finished. Very polite and efficient. Quote had been $125, but when they finished, they just said a bill would be mailed. Wonderful company.

It was a great experience. The broken smoke alarm was in a rental home we have in Vancouver. We live in Portland and did not know an electrician up there. We searched Angie's List and found Prairie. They were available to go the next day. They arranged the time with the tenant. I asked them if they wanted a credit card and they said no they would just bill me. The whole process was seamless.

They do excellent work and would definitely use again.

I called Prairie Electric to change two chandeliers for me. Two men were at my house in a couple of hours. They were professional and got the job done in a timely manner.

They came when promised and did what was asked.

Called prairie at 6PM. We were told we would receive a call first thing in the morning and we did. They called about 10 minutes prior to arriving (a nice touch). The servicemen were friendly & professional. They carefully explained everything to my wife and did a very nice job of repairs. At first, it was just a problem with a blown light fixture in the kitchen. They finished and left. Then, my wife found we had no electricity in the bathroom. Without so much as a whimper, they came right back out and took care of the bathroom. THAT'S customer service!

Less than 2 hours total. Removed old baseboard heaters as well. They took the time to answer other questions for me regarding my new home.

Electricians arrived when expected and performed the work requested at a reasonable price. I was not home to ask certain questions, so the electrician left his name and phone number with our caregiver. I will use them again.

Scott was prompt, polite, professional, and neat. Job was accomplished in just over an hour and very reasonably priced. We would definitely hire again.

I was impressed with the customer service of Prairie Electric. They called the day before the appointment to confirm. Tom, the driver, called me about a half hour before his appointment to let me know he was on the way. He was both polite, informative, and he was VERY thorough in checking possible origins of the problem. Most importantly, he fixed the problem. My only issue with the service is that it seemed to take longer than it should have, considering the easy fix.

They did a really nice job for us. They came once and did not charge us.

Excellent responsiveness, prompt, and fair price for top notch work.

Job 1: While the serviceman was at my house he took the initiative to cap off the wires leading to my hot water heater that were loose. They were very pleasant and puntual. I called them the next week to move an electrical outlet for me. Job 2: Serviceman was very knowledgable and offered advice on where to place the outlet.

They were outstanding! The price was competitive, the work was well done and completed in a timely fashion. They took extreme care to avoid disrupting the property in any way and restored everything perfectly when completed. I have used them for several more small electrical projects with the same results.

They did a very good job, were polite and cleaned up after themselves. They even talked us out of a more expensive option for wiring the stove.

PRAIRIE SAID THEY WOULD BE AT MY HOUSE AT 8:00 AM. THE TECH CALLED AT 8:00 TO SAY HE WOULD BE A FEW MINUTES LATE, THEN SHOWED UP AT 8:10, WHICH WAS NO PROBLEM. HE HAD THE PERMITS READY BEFORE THEY ARRIVED. THE HOT TUB WAS TO ARRIVE THE DAY BEFORE, BUT WAS DELAYED. THE ELECTRICIAN WENT AHEAD, AND DID ALL THE WIRING UP TO THE DISCONNECT, AND THEN, AT MY REQUEST, TOLD ME HOW TO COMPLETE THE HOOKUP SO IT WOULD PASS INSPECTION. HE SAID TO CALL IF WE NEEDED THEM TO COME OUT AND FINISH THE JOB. LATER THAT EVENING, I WAS ABLE TO COMPLETE THE FINAL CONNECT, BUT IT WOULDNT WORK. MY WIFE WAS COMING HOME LATER THE NEXT DAY, AND I WANTED TO HAVE IT DONE FOR HER ARRIVAL. I CALLED THE OFFICE AT 8:00, AND THEY SENT SOMEONE BY 11:00 THAT DAY TO FIX THE ERROR, AND ENSURE IT WAS UP TO CODE. MY WIFE WAS SO HAPPY, AND SURPRISED. WE HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH THE TUB WHATSOEVER. PRAIRIE ELECTRIC HAS EXCELLENT SERVICE, FAIR PRICES (THE QUOTE WAS DEAD ON), AND GREAT STAFF. I RECOMMEND THEM HIGHLY!!

THE WORK WAS DONE EFFICIENTLY AND WELL. THE TWO WORKERS WERE POLITE, FRIENDLY, AND INFORMATIVE. THEY RESPONDED TO SEVERAL OTHER ELECTRICAL QUESTIONS THAT I HAD. OVERALL, A GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH THEM.

THIS COMPANY WAS SO GREAT, THEY WERE QUICK TO COME OUT TO MY HOUSE. THEY WERE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND VERY POLITE WHILE IN MY HOME. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.

THE WORK PERFORMED WAS GOOD. THEY DID WHAT THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO DO AND SINCE THE REPAIR, NOTHING HAS TRIPPED. I THINK THEY WERE VERY EXPENSIVE, THOUGH. THEY WERE HERE ABOUT 2 1/2 HOURS AND CHARGED US $500.
