They did a good job. They came when they said they would and did the job well.

I called on a Saturday morning; the plumber came right over; assessed the problem (needed water heater replaced). He went back to the shop; returned with the new water heater; moved the cabinet blocking the water heater. My water heater is in the garage. He was very through and extremely professional with a good personality. He honored the discount coupon and I could not be more pleased.

Showed up early-fine by me. Gave me an estimate that was spot on. Finished the job, cleaned the area-including the mess I had made and was actually done a little earlier than he thought.

Worker came without the right equipment. Did not have a long enough snake to clear blockage. Had to go back to shop to get another piece of equipment to blow out blockage. We have had a good relationship with the company before but i felt we got jabbed on this one. The blockage had to be cleaned out so we had to agree to get the job done at what I felt was to high a price. They lost a customer by what I think was over charging.

The guy was very nice and knew what he was doing. He showed up when he said he would and promptly repair our burst pipe. He had everything he needed to do the job, very competent. Will definitely contact this company again, great experience!

We called because my husband was trying to fix something and didn't understand the original installation and made a mistake. We wound up having to turn off our water. They claim to have 24 hour emergency and originally seemed to make an effort. We were patient assuming the other jobs they were on were more of an emergency...but they never called back. All the time we sat waiting, we could have found another provider. When we called the next morning, it was as if we were never on their list. They said they couldn't get us in for a few days.Our complaint is for their poor communication.

The repipe was did fine but they were not good at remodeling the bathroom. I did not like how the had finished around the shower stall and how they put down the floor in the base. I had bought all of the supplies so I was fine with what I had chosen but the installation was not great.

Water main burst on a friday morning, called Sarkenin, had a person out to inspect the problem. They arrived within an hour, surveyed the problem and recommended a new line be put in rather than break through concrete. They called location services for excavation, had an excavation company arrive Monday morning, and installed the new line and connections that day. Parts and services guaranteed, work has held up well.

They were available the day I called and worked with my work schedule. They repaired the problem by replacing the hose bib with a better quality model. They had to cut into an interior wall, which would create additional expense in repair for me. They were able to patch the hole with a spring loaded panel, saving me a costly patch job. They were careful about removing shoes and cleaned up their mess. Colin was extremely friendly, polite and efficient. The work was done in under an hour. I don't have much plumbing work done, so I cannot judge if the cost of the repair was high or low.

When Colin arrived he was both professional and friendly and asked for any information that I might have to solve the problem. I directed him to first look in the crawl space were the waterline comes into the house as I had discovered water and bubbling next to the inside foundation. Then, I showed him where the water was bubbling, at a much greater volume, under the front porch at the point a couple feet back from the outside foundation where the waterline comes to the house. He went right to work. He was professionally very efficient, helpful and friendly offering good suggestions where to watch for potential future problems. In providing the bill he graciously applied the senior discount. He thoughtfully wore booties inside the house.

I filled out the online inquiry on their website, and it said on the website that they would respond within 5 minutes. 10 minutes passed, so I gave them a call, asking them for an estimate, and she said she couldn't really say. So I said I would think about it and call back later. Then she called me 2 hours later, in response to my online inquiry, and scheduled the estimating appointment. It was supposed to be for between 8:30am and 9:00am. I received a call from the service guy at 8:55 saying that he would be here in 15 minutes. I had to run to a work meeting (which I didn't reschedule because I thought that they would arrive between 8:30 and 9, take a few minutes to estimate the job, and be on their way), so my husband had to stay home and meet the service guy. He said that it would cost $125 for him to fix the damage that I caused, and cost an extra $50 to actually install the handheld bidet. I was pretty surprised by the additional $50 cost because on the bidet packaging, it said that it would take about 15 minutes to install. And when I attempted to install it, it took me 10 minutes (but leaked everywhere because I had damaged the intake). But I paid the $50 to have them install it correctly, rather than me trying to install it and possibly causing the same damage again. In the end, I'm mad at myself for damaging my toilet intake to the point where a professional had to come and fix it, but I feel as though they weren't very prompt, and was surprised by the amount of the extra cost of installing the bidet. I don't think I can use them again because I can't afford them.

Colin was very professional. For some reason, his office had told him I only wanted the faucet replaced, but on arrival he made no bones about doing the job I had received a quote on, complete bathroom repiping. When I asked him to insulate the pipes, he went and got the materials and for a reasonable add on fee did the additional work. Very happy., will use again! Office help seems kind of flakey, but I'm hiring the plumbing, not the receptionist!

They did great. They were on time and were polite. They did what they said they were going to do. They cleaned up good.

I have used Sarkinen Plumbing before and called them because I trust them. They are not the cheapest, but I will say, they do things right, they are honest, they stand behind their word, and they don't hack around. They are very professional. In my case, they were very prompt, as well. The replaced a hot water heater in one of my units, and soon after, I called them thinking I needed a new water heater in another unit, and they figured out I didn't need one, and they did a repair instead, saving me the money on a new hot water heater! If you want quality work and good honest folks to deal with, these are your guys! They are well worth a few extra bucks, especially because they won't sell you something you don't need. They also worked really well with my tenants.

They used a water jet unclogging method. It was good but, I could have done a little more shopping around but overall it was good and the man was good. He didn't offer the discount for Angie's List for first time customer. I would recommend them.

It couldn't have gone any better.

A few issues on resizing the counter for the new sink but this company went over and above in making sure I was satisified. I will use this company again when I continue remodeling my home.

I was given a quote that included replacing the entire outgoing set of (huge) cost pipes for some reason. The real problem turned out to be the shower in the master and we tore that out, but we needed to replace floorboards and the old metal pipes while we were there. I didn't use Sarkinen because they were nearly twice as much as the plumber I did use. They seemed to know what they were talking about, but their bid was worked up too high and the plumber I used said that replacing the huge cast iron pipes would be ridiculous. I do want to say that they were very nice, super-prompt, and detailed. BUT, perhaps that is because they charge so much.

When I called for the work to be done, I had already tried snaking the drain with no impact to the problem. Joe and his buddy showed up at 2:15PM and worked until 6:15PM trying to get the drain cleaned out after using over 35ft of the snake to no avail. Two days later another two plumbers came to the house with the intent of water blasting the pipe clean. Ultimately, one of the gentlemen had to use the crawl space access to get to the pipes and clean it from there. There is no pleasure in working your way through the close confines of a crawl space, let alone bring equipment with you to complete the project. But it worked and the pipe between the laundry room and kitchen works better than ever! I should add that there really was not per se an actual clog...just muck built up over the many years with some rusting within the piping. So no amount of snaking could have actually cleared out the pipe. All four plumbers were very kind, respectful, professional, picked up and cleaned the areas involved, and very tolerant of my constant curiosity! I had hoped to get through a lifetime wthout ever needing a plumber given the reputation of costs, etc. But I am now planning that next year I will have Sarkinen come back and clean out the other drain pipe in the house...and they will always have my business if something else goes haywire!

y We awoke to find the downstairs toilet had backed up and overflowed. Checked by running upstairs shower a little and found toilet backed up again. I called Sarkinen Plumbing based on Angie's List reviews and distance from my home, at 6:50AM. Larry, the plumber who answered the phone, was already on a call but promised to be at my house around 8:00AM. He arrived at 7:50AM. He asked some questions I had no answers for, since we had just moved into the house a couple weeks earlier, then settled on snaking from a soil drain access behind the house. The plumber was clear about pricing: $450 to snake the drain. If the drain needed to be jetted, an additional $300. Plus tax. My wife and I decided to move ahead simply because a home without a working soil drain is not a home--and we knew emergency plumbing service costs. The snake was not able to reach the clog in the drain, so the plumber called in a water jet truck--that arrived within 20 minutes. The water jet was able to find and remove the clog in the soil drain. The plumbers sprayed off the area behind the house where effluent from the soil drain had backed up during snaking and jetting. The cost we set at a C grade because we figure it's probably average for an emergency service such as ours. The work performed was excellent, as was the demeanor of the plumber and the water jet tech, and response times for an emergency service. I would call these folks for an estimate for regular plumbing work. If another drain emergency pops up, I might make a couple more calls to see if I can get a better price. Note: Neither my wife nor I are negotiators. For us, price is price. We might have gotten a better price had we haggled, but we didn't try. We feel it fair to say that the price was average and price, for us, was enough to take this plumber from A to B.

Working with Sarkinen was easy. We found them on Angie's List and had them come out to provide us with an estimate. Of the four plumbers that we received bids from, we had the most confidence in Colin and we liked the plan he had for the work. As an added bonus, their bid was one of the lower ones. Again, we would definitely hire them again for any plumbing needs.

I called and setup an appointment to get an estimate for the job. They were punctual and very professional. The price was within the budget for the work I needed done so I had them do the job right then. They were able to complete the work quickly and cleaned-up after themselves. I would highly recommend them to anyone that was looking for a reliable plumber.

We love Sarkinen Plumbing! Sarkinen has done extensive work on our house. They initially did a blower door test on our house to help us improve the energy efficiency of our home. After they did the work they did a follow up test to make sure that the improvements fixed all our problems. They are also licensed as general contractors and hold their subcontractors to very high standards. All of the members of their crew have been extremely friendly and polite; they have always been on time and are great about cleaning up after they finish a project. We have been so pleased with their work that both our daughters have hired them to work on their homes and they are now working to fix two rental properties that we own as well! We highly recommend them to everyone
