I got them off of Angie's List. They came when they said they would. They called first before they came. They did the work. They were very good and very courteous. I called them on Saturday. The answering machine answered. I told, "This is an emergency" and so I gave him my info. He said, "Well, I'll put you on the list for Monday morning for a callback." They did. They called back Monday morning and they scheduled me for Tuesday morning and it went fine. He cleaned everything up. There was no further damage or anything. So once he put the new faucet in, it was fine. I would highly recommend them. Everything they said they would do, they did. They did it on time. They were very clean and very thorough. He was very nice and very honest with us. I don't know much about pricing these days. I didn't think $500 to replace a faucet was bad at all.

They're good. I spent under $200 and it was reasonable. They came out on a nasty stormy day and got it done. They were prompt.

Went well. Services were performed as agreed and no problems with the plumbing.

Serviceman called and showed up on time and was courteous and knowledgeable. Decided to choose another company because of the bid being $1,000 higher than anyone else.

They showed up on time for the estimate and were very professional. We look forward to having them work on our pipes!

They were reasonable and thorough, they were very good. I guess they're very well known. They were fast because they can be very expensive if they have an extra 15 minutes so i appreciated that. They were thorough and clean and when they left, he did call me because i was at work when they left, they did a thorough job, he tested it and told me about it.

He came out because it was an emergency. He was so nice. He replaced some of our piping. He provided excellent service.

I have used Sarkinen Plumbing several times before today's appointment. For this appointment both Richard and Patrick called before coming over. They arrived on time. Both were very courteous and helpful. It was noted that the filter was under tremendous pressure that caused the leak. Richard measured the psi at 90. It was agreed that a pressure relief valve would be installed. Both the installation of the filter and pressure relief valve was done in a timely manner. The cost of the job was very fair. I would definitely recommend Sarkinen Plumbing to anyone.

They bored a tunnel from the street to the house and did excellent work. They worked very quickly (less than 4 hours), were very knowledgable and checked back with me the next day to make sure everything was fine after completing the work. Overall an excellent service experience.

The scheduler said that if I was happy with the price, the install could be done immediately. The quote was the highest of all the quotes I received, and the person was rude to me when I reacted with surprise at the price. I appreciated that the scheduler called me when the employee (who seemed more like a salesperson than a plumber) was late, but I almost missed another appointment I had scheduled for that day. It just was not a good fit for me, but, luckily, one of the other quotes worked out great.

He came out in the snow and ice, 8:30 on a Saturday night. He explained a permanent solution/fix to my outdoor faucet that had broken (spraying water) and was willing to get it done that night. I appreciate him taking the time to do the permanent fix rather than a patch job (which is what I had anticipated). Great job. Very friendly. Their communication with me regarding anticipated and actual arrival was wonderful. They even accepted the Angie's List coupon, which I didn't think would apply on an emergency call. I wish more companies had their work ethics.

As in the past, the staff of Sarkinen Plumbing outdid themselves. It all begins with Jessica who is the most pleasant yet most organized and efficient customer services person. Little did I know that she has been employed less than one year. Jessica schedules appointments based on the customer's specific needs. In my case, it was that all my toilets did not have a strong flush. She dispatched Richard and his apprentice Dillion this past Monday despite the horrible road condition because of the snow storm. They arrived early and had to park their van about two blocks from my house because of the snow on the road and carried them to my house. It took two of them three hours but did a great job and I am very satisfied by their professionalism, expertise, and efficiency in completing the work. In addition, Dillion an HVAC apprentice gave me some excellent advise which resulted in an appointment for preventive maintenance on my heat pump, etc. Sarkinen is the best in the area and has become my plumbing company of choice for all future needs. We were extremely pleased with the services provided by the company. We had a water line replaced from them previously and were very satisfied with their work. We called last Friday and spoke with Jessica. She was very pleasant and scheduled an appointment for Monday between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Prior to the appointment time, Jude called to advise us that he was on his way. He and his partner Dylan were right on time. They assessed the situation and were able to fix it immediately. They were very neat, professional, efficient, knowledgeable, and very effective. He's does a great job. He cleans up every night after himself and works hard all day. He was almost $1200 less than the original quote we received. He's looks young but is very professional mature.

I was extremely pleased with the services provided by the company. I was a little reluctant about using them because of three recent negative comments on Angie's List. To the contrary, I called last Thursday and spoke with Jessica. She was very pleasant and scheduled an appointment for today between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Prior to the appointment time, the plumber Robert called to advise me that he would be at my home at 1:30 p.m. He and his partner, Zack were punctual. Robert assessed the situation and advised me that the heater should be replaced because of the age of the heater (almost 25 years old) as well as the sediments that were being released. He reviewed the price and proceeded to remove and replace the heater in two hours. They were very neat, professional, efficient, knowledgeable, and hopefully effective (I will confirm after I take a warm shower later this evening. After receiving the high level of customer services, I was miffed by the previous comments. In any case, I will contact Sarkinen for any future plumbing need, as well as recommend them to friends if asked. Thanks so much Jessica, Robert, and Zack.

I had a leaky toilet valve replaced. I called to get an estimate over the phone, but was told they had had to send someone out and someone will be working in my area in a couple of days, so I scheduled for an appointment. The worker showed up right as scheduled and was very pleasant. I was told they charge $175 for replacement valves unless there are any other issues. I'm not sure why they could not have told me this over the phone to give me the opportunity to call around and make sure they are in the "ball park." I figured that since the worker was there, may as well have it done. I didn't have any idea what it would cost, but looking at other reviews and charges on Angie's list I didn't think it would be any where close to $175. | |They schedule their jobs close together and the worker only had a 4 minute drive to my house and completed the job in less than 10 minutes. Additional valves would be $75, but they charge another $100 for a 4 minute drive. I would think that some of this would be passed off to the customers. The job was complete and it does not leak any longer, but the nut that holds the fitting on was all marked up by the workers pipe wrench. | |While the worker was writing up the invoice, I informed him that I had very low hot water pressure. He said that it is probably due to the line at the tank as there can be build up over time. I asked him if he could take a look, and he told me it would just be easier if I do it myself. Well if I had the time, tools, and ability, to solder a new water line onto a hot water tank, I certainly would not be paying $175 for 10 minutes of work to fix a leaky valve that does not require any soldering, cutting, etc. Now I will have to pay someone else the fee to get out to fix it and I hope $100 isn't the going rate. | |Also while talking to the worker when he was writing up the invoice, I found out he is not licensed. Both their website and Angie's List say that they are licensed plumbers (hence saying worker and not plumber.) I can't imagine that they are charging this much and are not even licensed to do the work.

I called Sarkinen based on Angies List reviews. I told them I needed a dishwasher installed and kitchen sink and faucet replaced. I asked that they send 2 workers because the old and new kitchen sinks were very large and heavy. 4/21/2013 - They sent a young man who was unable to handle the sink. He did not properly loosen the sink before trying to remove it and in the process he ruined my formica countertop. I had to help him carry the new sink to the kitchen, at which point he left for lunch and returned with a helper, and finished the job. He did not tell me he had damaged the countertop, but attempted to hide the damage by gobbing caulk on the spots. I called Sarkinen and requested that they send someone out to look at the damage, which they did right away. That person acknowledged the damage and said it was a "common rookie mistake" and said they would "make it right". We did not discuss specifically what that meant - he had to discuss with his supervisor. I did not hear anything for six weeks. When I called again I was told that he no longer worked there and they sent someone else out. That person said they would replace the countertop. I told him that the old countertop did not have any seams in it, and that I expected the same of the new countertop. He agreed. On the first visit: he removed the sink, placed it on my patio rug, scraped off the old caulk and did not clean it up off my rug. The formica they had brought was the wrong color so the work could not be done. He re-installed the sink but did not turn on the water supply to my dishwasher so I ran a load completely dry - in my brand new dishwasher! Next visit - he removed the sink and the contractor prepared to install correct formica, but the sheet size was too small so there would have had to be a seam, which was unacceptable. The plumber re-installed the sink but did not caulk around edges. I requested that they do this caulking because I was going to start canning, and there would be a lot of water on the counter. He shrugged his shoulders. He wrapped the hose for the sprayer twice around the drain pipes before connecting it to the water source. By this time I was so disgusted with the (lack of) service that I called and requested my money back from the original work. They promptly refunded 7/29/2013. I know it will cost me much more to have the countertop fixed, but I simply did not want them in my home any longer. I plan to call another plumber to check the work - I do not trust any of the work that they did.

They were very efficient, friendly and cleaned up after themselves.

When our hot water heater went out, they came out within 24 hours. ?This was an emergency situation. ?They had it completed in one visit. ?They didn't really bother at all, they came in, worked and there was little to no interruptionwith our living routine. ?They won my confidence with their knowledge.

The first time he was supposed to come it was a 3-5 slot. He called to say that he would be an hour late. I finally called at 7 and told him to reschedule. The next time they had to reschedule last minute because he was called on a job that nobody else could do. The third time someone else was supposed to come but he ended up coming late again and said he botched a job yesterday to the tune of $60k in damages, it was his birthday and then he didn't have the tool to remove the drain opening and could he come back tomorrow so he could enjoy his dinner. Never showed the next day.

My water heater was not working, and I was hoping that it was a simple thermocouple repair. Unfortunately for me, the whole heat control valve was shot was shot, and the unit was also rusting out on the bottom and the technicial recommended it be replaced. My only concern with the pricing was that because I had company arriving the same day, my ability to shop around was zerop. I've found cheaper prices on line since the repair, but given my need to have the work done quickly, the provider stepped up and did it quickly.

Their prices were very reasonable and I was comfortable with them. They were quite prompt and I appreciated that. They were very quick and they seemed to be quite knowledgeable of alternatives. I would recommend them to others.

The technician, Ty was right on-time, professional, friendly, and even went the extra mile. After fixing the clogged toilet, he inquired if I had any other questions or issues. I did, in fact have a couple of items in which he gave advise and even partly fixed one of them - at no additional cost. I recommend Sarkinen Rooter to anyone needing a plumber.

The plumber was on-time and very professional. The toilet in the master bath was wobbly and leaking slightly and he installed a new wax ring and tightened the bolts. He also tightened a leaking shower knob in another bathroom. I am very pleased and will call Sarkinen for all my plumbing needs.
