The rep arrived on time. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and experienced. He finished the work in about an hour - no runs, no leaks, no errors. The quality of the work is excellent and I really like that the valve is now at ground level instead of inside a 3 inch PVC pipe extending 2 feet into the ground which was difficult to access. Overall I am pleased with the job.

After taking possession of our house, we noticed a strong and unpleasant odor in the kitchen sink which seemed to be coming from the garbage disposer. We tried all the usual step to eliminate the odor without success. We called Sarkinen Plumbing and the plumber (Jerry) arrived promptly the next day as scheduled. After inspection, Jerry recommended replacing the garbage disposer, all the pipes under the sink and the kitchen faucet (which leaked). After we obtained the new garbage disposer and faucet, Jerry installed the new fixtures and plumbing and the odor problem was completely eliminated!

They arrived exactly at the time they told us and arranged for the line boring and replaced over 100 feet of new pipe. They installed a new shut off valve and relocated it. Joe and Ron were extremely professional and very helpful in everything they did. They consulted me on everything which was very important to me. The work was accomplished in less than half a day and when they were done our yard looked exactly as it did before they started. Needless to say we are very pleased with Sarkinen Plumbing and their employees Joe and Ron!! A few days after they finished, we discovered that our sprinkler system was not working correctly. Joe returned twice along with Ron and they worked until after dark without complaint and fixed the problem. What a wonderful experience for us. We are very pleased with them and will use them again if we every need plumbing work!!!

a friend recomended Sarkinen becuse they had remodeled a bathroom for here and she was very pleased with their work. I called and requested a on site recomendation and estamate. Jeff showed up as scheduled and I explained that I needed to have the small shower in one bath room repaired and that I wanted to add a shower to the bath tub in a second bath room. I explained how I thought it could best be done and after listening to me Jeff offered several alternate suggestions and recomendations. He also explained how the work would be done and what products would be used. After agreeing on the plan he worked up a cost estamate which was a bit more than I had planned to spend but the overall quality was also higher than I had first planned on. After agreeing that the work could be done the following week I authorized the work. The work was started as scheduled, accomplished as agreed.The work was well done and the work area was cleaned up each day before the workers left. The job was completed two days later than originally estimated but I did approve the delay ahead of time. Overall I am very pleased with the job; however I do feel that the final clean up and grout sealing was rushed and could have been done better.

This was the second plumber I called and the first one wouldn't show up. I joined Angie's list and found Sarkinen Plumbing. He came quickly, ontime and ready to work. He did what he said and then found my dryer vent hose broken and blowing into the crawl space under the house. He fixed it. Then suggested I move the outside faucet 8" higher for better access. He did that too. he was great!!!

I found Sarkinen Plumbing on Angie's List. It was Sunday, so I was surprised to hear they could come out in one hr.. Collin called at about that time and told me it would be yet another hour, because he had found more leaks at his current call. So it was 2 hrs. total when he showed, still much quicker than I would have thought. The leak was in a difficult spot, so it was something I didn't want to attempt myself. Collin was friendly, courteous, and seemed very competent. The price was fair, in my opinion, and he honored my Angie coupon.

The technician arrived on time and gave me an estimate for all the problems I had in the house. He began work immediately after I agreed to the price, which I thought was reasonable. There were many repairs, plus he had to install extra pipe to install the water softener. He finished the work the next day. He left no dirt or messes behind. I was very pleased.

fantastic. Our renters moved in over the weekend and after a day we were having shower issues. I called and they were willing to come out that afternoon and fix everything. Price was reasonable, they communicated with me over the phone about the issues and the renters were able to shower again in less than 24 hours. Awesome!

Collin and his crew were absolutely fantastic. They were professional, prompt and friendly. I will say though, that the crew that they subcontracted with to do the drywall were less than satisfactory. However, when I mentioned this to Collin and his team, they were embarrassed and helped clean up some of the mess left by the drywall crew. (I only gave them a B on quality because of this subcontracted crew. The plumbing work itself was fantastic. They went above and beyond.)

He had to cut open the wall to replace the faucets. He did a great job and I had no complaints. I was impressed with his work! He was timely and I did not have to wait for parts. Very professional man. Will be using him in the furture.

The toilet flanges Sarkinen were of "low quality" and did not allow the Toto toilets to be installed on a "secure foundation". In addition in the second bath the intake shut off value was too close to the toilet to allow it to be turned on and off and had to be moved, necessitating sheet rock to be cut and repaired at addition cost to us. In the kitchen under the sink, the shut off values were improperly situated, thus requiring additional work.

I would recommend them. I was very pleased with the work that they did for me. They were on time and gave me a quote and did not charge more than the quoted price.

After a quick visual inspection, the technician quoted $220 to repair and $750 to replace (if needed) the motor. Once agreed to undertake the repair, the technician fixed the motor in about 1 min by simply "encouraging" the motor to turn by a poke with a screwdriver. Very happy that the repair has been made. Quite shocked to have spent $220 for an inspection and 1 minutes worth of work. Was expecting at least a motor and pump removal and cleaning etc. The technician was extremely pleasant and professional. 3/24/12 I contacted the owner of Sarkinen plumbing to express my concern over the bill I paid. He agreed that the repair quote should have been adjusted to reflect the "hitting it with a hammer" action and he graciously sent me a refund check. So I paid $100 for the repair (call out fee) which I feel is very fair. I will not hesitate in using this company again. Very impressed overall. Score 'A' across the board.

They were excellent, did the work fast and cleaned up themselves. I will use them again in the future

He did a good job. I had reservations about him because water hadn't been on the floor right away and he was insisting that I would have mold and he wanted to give me his friend's card.

Bid the job one day, started and completed the project the next 2.5 days. The on time crew, demonstrated a high degree of professionalism.

Well. They also noticed that there was something else (some sort of regulator thingy) that needed to be replaced, and they were able to come back the next day to replace that item, as well.

I was shocked to see the work would cost so much.

I called Sarkinen about a potential water leak in our crawl space. They responded within a few hours and were very understanding of the problem. I dealt with a terrific fellow, Justin who was very thorough and professional. He had to enter a tight crawl space several times to assess the problem and then to correct the problem. This is the second time that I have asked Sarkinen to help...they are expensive, but terrific!

I spent $488 on the job. I would use them again in the future.

Early in the morning of 12/14/11 I had a water supply line in my upstairs bathroom burst. When we were unable to shut the water off at the source (broken) or at the main line (no tool), I called Sarkinen plumbing. It was a name I remembered from Angie's List and their office is close by. We waited for him while my son continued to catch and bail as much water as possible and I went to the garage below to cover what I could. After about a half hour, the plumber called and said he had forgotten to bring the address with him, went to the wrong street, then had to return home to get the right address. Because of the long delay, he was nice enough to waive the $200 emergency fee. He quickly got the water shut off. He said I should replace all of the supply lines since they were all as old as the one that broke. I was pretty rattled so I told him to go ahead and since he was already there, I asked him about 2 other things that needed to be done, which he agreed to take care of. When another plumber came to the house to do the work, it took less than 2 hours to complete all of the tasks. Even allowing for parts, that would approximate $400 per hour for labor. I do feel $60 is excessive for a $6 part that took 5 minutes to replace. Additionally, 2 were not necessary - the one on the downstairs toilet was metal and fairly new (I know because I had replaced it myself). The one on the upstairs toilet was unnecessary because he knew the toilet was going to be removed by the water damage people. I told him I had already paid for a bathroom remodel (a deal on Angie's list) and the company was coming out on the 22nd to discuss the details and get measurements. He said he could replace the existing toilet which he assured me would keep running (we know how to stop it). I told him I already knew from research that I wanted a Toto Drake. He said Sarkinen Plumbing could install a Drake for $700 - but I showed him online that I could get one delivered to my home for $300 and the installation was already paid for.

Did a great job. Very professional. Even when running a little late, called with regular updates. Efficient, cleaned up after himself. Honest. Did quality work. The plumbing hardware that is stocked on the truck (i.e. new sink faucet) is very good quality. A little more expensive but definitely worth it. I will hire them back next time.

They were great! Ronald was calming and responsive in the face of my little crisis. My husband is deployed and my laundry room started filling with water from clogged pipes. Ronald and Mike came in and cleaned the pipes, hydrojetted them and eventually had to break a hole in the wall and install a new clean out since that was the only way to fix the problem. It was Friday night at 8 pm (why do these things always happen after hours?). Ronald was available and helpful and he made sure the job got done. I felt that they charged me a fair price for emergency after hours work.

Sarkinen Plumbing had the lowest bid that I could afford. They came in and did the plumbing work and I was really happy with what was going on. I had two leaks since then in the plumbing that they have done. They did not button up underneath my sink. All the plumbing and the joints were hanging out underneath my sink. It was a mess there. They did the worst job. They finally came and buttoned up my sink after a year and that was because I called them on a second leak. I did not call them when I had a first leak because I was so unhappy with them. I called them on the second leak. My daughter was here and she called them. They came in second time and fixed the leak, but they still charged me. Their quality of work was bad. I would not use their service in the future.
