The entire experience from start to finish was excellent. Nick picked up his phone right away, was very friendly and professional. He offered to come out the same day to give me an estimate on what I needed done. He called earlier than our appointment and said he could come even earlier than he thought. He arrived exactly when he said he would. He introduced himself and put covers on his shoes before he entered which was very thoughtful and showed alot of respect for our home. He toured our place, listened carefully to everything we wanted done, and had a can-do attitude the entire time. He emailed me a written estimate the same day including the angie's list discount and we scheduled him to come only a couple of days later. He arrived on time with his wife and son. They make an amazing team and worked really hard. The job took just as long as he had predicted and I could see how thorough they were being. We could not believe the difference in our ceramic tile floors, our carpets, and our couches. We had not realized how dirty they had actually been. Now they look amazing and more importantly, our house smells fresh. Originally we thought his bid was abit higher than some but we definitely got our moneys worth. We now understand that while we were paying less in the past, we were not getting the cleaning quality we had wanted. Bottomline: you pay a little more, but you get alot more. We will definitely look to Nick and Neat Nix Carpet Care in the future and I will recommend his services to everyone I know. Thanks for the excellent job!!

I contacted Neat Nix about carpet cleaning and he promptly returned my call. He offered to come out to see if it was something that he could do and while he was here, we set up an appointment for him to start the job the following week. The day of the appointment, he and his son arrived very punctually and got started. He paid special attention to the areas of the carpet where there seemed to be an abundance of dog hair (our boss sometimes brings his dog in) and other miscellaneous spots. He performed the services he said he was going to and even charged us less than what he estimated (we moved our furniture into a spot that he couldn't get to) but still did an excellent job. Would definitely recommend him and call him again to get the job done.

Nick was right on time and before he came to clean, he was very responsive to all my email inquiries. They were quick and I felt very safe having them in my home! I was asked to inspect the carpets and for any other concerns after the job was completed and was pleased to see everything looked great. Professional and great to work with overall.

I found Nick on angie's list, and he was very responsive and professional. He came out and made an estimate, and then was flexible and gracious when I had to change the date of the cleaning. He did a great job. He and his crew were courteous and professional. The carpets look great, and there is no heavy chemical smell. We did not want a harsh chemical used, and Nick uses PROCYON, a product that is certified under the Green Seal standard.

Nick and his wife are very professional (prompt and reliable) and very kind. They are very flexible in accommodating your schedule and deliver a great product. We don't hesitate to recommend their services and are happy to support their business! Nick even gave us a free bottle of a spot cleaner. We're very happy with Neat Nix and will continue to use them!

When we called them a couple of weeks ago, Nick of Neat Nix came out and did an estimate quickly and professionally. He answered questions I had about thier cleaning process and their bid was quite reasonable. We accepted the bid and Nick and his son arrived within 5 minutes of their promised time a few days later. Too many times with other jobs we've gotten a bid from one person, then the work was done by someone else who just didn't care as much. Not this time. As mentioned, Nick and his son did the work and were entirely professional, responsive to our requests and friendly throughout. We were very satisfied with the work in this case. There were no games with the bid. They charged us what they said they would and even sent a thank you note for the business a few days later.

Nick was professional from the start. He assessed our carpeting and gave us an estimate, then squeezed us in quickly so our carpets could be cleaned before our Easter company arrived. They were punctual and thorough. They placed fans near the completed areas so they would dry faster, and gave us booties to wear so we could walk on the damp carpet without soiling it. The carpets and sofa looked great. I would definitely hire him again.

We chose them because they had good ratings on the Internet. He came out and gave us a quote. Then, he came out to steam-clean the rugs. We were very happy with the service. I've recommended him to three or four people at work.

Nick and his son were very professional and careful. We have used two different carpet cleaners in the past but were most impressed with Nick. He even put our son's crib up on blocks to clean the carpet underneath. He used plastic guards to protect our maple staircase. Our carpets are white and we had lots of small stains from wear and tear and having a baby in the house. I was happy to know his products are green compliant. Thank you Nick and you are welcome for the tip! You deserve it and we shall see you again next time our carpets need to be cleaned.

Excellent as always. In this case, they responded the very next day and took care of a spill that might have otherwise turned into a permanent stain. They use environmentally friendly products that work well. Their carpet and furniture cleaning (we have used them extensively for both) lasts a long time. Most of all they take pride in responding quickly, and doing detail work. Keep up the good work and we will continue to use.

I was concerned about commercial cleaning leaving behind a chemical smell and was pleased that this cleaning left a mild fresh smell behind, which quickly dissipated. Nick came and did an estimate the day I called, and then returned two days later at my convenience to clean. He was prompt and professional...protected surrounding floor and furnishings, and returned everything to its place. I would certainly recommend this company to a friend.

Nick and Mary K came on time, cleaned one room of wall-to-wall carpeting and 3 area rugs, carried the rugs upstairs and draped them over furniture to dry, gave me advice on timing, use, what to expect. They were not expensive, have various discounts, are very professional.

Very well. We had installed new carpet about three years ago and our oldest female Siberian Husky who had never, ever, urinated in the house in her life decided to empty her bladder on the new carpet in the living room. I did my best to blot up as much as possible but the stain never went away. It became a magnet for the dogs to mark there. On top of that we acquired a second male Siberian and the boys, who had been neutered as pups, got into a marking contest. We also have two large fig trees which we have had in the living room for decades. I discovered recently that one of the pots had leaked near the same area where the stubborn urine stain was located so there was some mold involved as well. Additionally the fig trees had been infested with some sort of bug a year or so ago and the probably either the sap or the insecticide I used to get rid of the infestation left a yellowish residue in the areas beneath the leaf mass. I didn't have much hope for the area of the carpet ruined by urine -- we will have to replace the carpet at some point -- but I did hope the appearance could be improved. And I wanted all the other spots -- marking, etc. -- cleaned up better than I could do. Nick was very prompt about calling after I got in touch with him about an estimate for cleaning the three rooms. He was available in a couple of days for an appointment to estimate the cost, arrived on time and gave me a print-out of the cost plus a first time discount for being an Angie's member. I got an estimate from one other carpet cleaning company. The third company that I contacted never called or e-mailed back. The two companies that did send out someone to give me an estimate in person seemed very capable and were close in price. I finally went with Nick because he was the first to contact me. I also asked both companies for an estimate on tile cleaning. Nik's estimate was substantially lower on that but I decided to wait until another time on the tile cleaning. Nick was pleasant and very professional. He arrived promptly on the day of the cleaning and went right to work. My husband and I had cleared the rooms of furniture that could be moved. The carpet looks great and even the "disaster area" looks much, much better. All in all I am very pleased with the service provided by Neat Nix. Having three dogs in the house certainly creates a lot of problems but they are part of the family and having a good carpet cleaning service makes it possible to co-exist with the furry guys and large fig trees.

I cross-referenced Angie's List with the IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification) website and chose several companies to call for quotes. Despite the IICRC's own recommendation that estimates only be given in person and in writing, only one company was willing to show up: Neat Nix. The rest gave "quotes" over the phone. The owner, Nick Kovak, missed our first appt. and admitted his mistake (apology followed with a $25 off his quote). In person, he explained his methods (including the use of Procyon, a Green Seal cleaner) and answered my questions thoroughly. Even though his quote was $50-80 higher than other (phone) quotes, I knew exactly what I was getting with Neat Nix. The day of the cleaning, he and his wife came on time, were friendly, professional, diligent and left everything clean and neat earlier than planned. (He also cleaned the two small area rugs for free.) I paid the estimate price with my credit card of choice and he offered several incentives for referrals - which I wholeheartedly plan to use!

Arrived on time, protected all the corners from their equipment, moved furniture and other stuff out of the way and got down to business. They were professional, thorough and did a great job. Sometimes after getting the rugs cleaned, stains will come back, but that had NOT been the case with Neat Nix. The rugs still look great and it's been two weeks now- no returning stains. Also worked wonders on our cat closet, where the litter boxes are stored. What a nightmare to clean, but they did a terrific job.

Nick was very responsive and professional. He arrived on time for both the estimate and the cleaning. He is a great owner/operator, his equipment and van were spotless and he was extremely professional. I would not hesitate to hire him again or to recommend him. A+

Nick is a gentleman who was very accomodating while at the same time being very honest about what he could and could not do. His quoted price was excellent and completed price was even lower. I consider him a true find.

He was very flexible when arranging a time for the estimate. He arrived promptly on the day of the estimate and very quickly appraised the job and gave a price. He continued to be very easy to work with when arranging a time and date for the actual cleaning. We had guests coming the next week and he was able accommodate our needs. On the day of the job, he quickly and professionally got it done. It all went smoothly and according to plan.

Nick came out to the house the first time to give us an estimate. He was about 10 minutes late, and he called beforehand to let us know that traffic was heavy so he wouldn't quite make on time (it was Friday afternoon so quite understandable that traffic might be lousy). He was very polite, answered all our questions, measured the rooms in our house, and explained exactly which furniture he would move and which he wouldn't (e.g. our big armoire) with the service. We scheduled an appt for the following Friday at 9am. He and his wife and assistant were here on time, did a fantastic job cleaning the floors and furniture, and were done by about 2pm. The whole team was very professional and friendly, punctual, and did an excellent job.

Nick came out the morning after I called to get a bid to check out my carpet and sofa (which was in really bad shape). I was happy with the estimate and the style in which he worked. He told me that he would do one cushion of the couch to see if I was happy with it. If not, he would not charge me. I thought the cushion came out ok (I wasn't expecting miracles as this couch had been thru 2 kids and a dog), there were still some spots, but it wasn't something to be afraid to sit on anymore! The carpets all turned out great! Nick and his wife were very professional and super nice (very pleasant to have in the house while I stayed out of their way).

I e-mailed Nick for an estimate and he got right back to me to set up a time to visit. He was there promptly, checked out the space and gave me a very reasonable bid on the spot. He was completely easy to deal with, very personable and great with my kids! On the day of our appointment, he called to say he would be about 20 minutes late and apologized (NO big deal. I've had people show up an hour late with no call and no explanation.) He and his assistant worked for four hours cleaning. I couldn't believe how hard they worked or what a change it made in our house and furniture. My mom thought we had bought a new couch!! Everything looks so much better. When Nick left, my five year old insisted on giving him a hug. We loved him!

Overall carpets looked great and dried quickly. After one week I was still having pet odor issues in main room - Nick came back and re-treated area at no cost. Both he and wife were very friendly and professional. Will be using them in the future.
