Neat Nix is under new management. Nick retired and his business was bought by Checkmate Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning. Trevor did my house today, for the same price Nick did a year ago. For those of you familiar with Nick's M.O., the only differences I could tell were not doing the raking at the end (he said his truck didn't have one yet) and the lack of a fresh smell. I didn't expect a perfumy smell, because I told Nick and now Trevor that we needed a dye- and scent-free cleaning, but even though I was told to expect them to use the same products as Nick, it didn't seem identical. Otherwise, Trevor did the same thorough job as Nick for the same price.

The carpet is about 6 years old, good quality carpet, the house has been rented for the last 4 years and after Nick cleaned them they look like new. Very professional service, professional equipment. We have 4 rental homes and I will definitely use their service again. Thank you!!

What a find! We own an interior design firm and Nick was great from beginning to end. Our office manager found Neat Nix for us and scheduled our cleaning. She said they seemed fantastic after talking with them. She was right, they were. Nick and partner (sorry, don't recall his name) were professional, personal, quick and great work. Had three areas to be cleaned and ordered through Angie's list. Didn't read fine print and realize that our entire area was not listed under the deal. Service was great and professional, but for my purposes was more expensive than I wanted to spend.

Went great! I felt very comfortable working with Nick and he did a great job. I've asked him to quote us on cleaning the rest of our carpets and look forward to working with him again.

Perfect! I keep staring at my gorgeous, beautifully cleaned carpeting! It looks like it did the day I had it installed over five years ago. And the same goes for my sofa - it?s so beautiful and clean, I almost don?t want to sit on it! Nick is so very nice - courteous, friendly and professional. He always seems to have co-workers who are just like him. Gary was also friendly and professional. It had been two years + since I last had my carpets cleaned and with two indoor cats roaming through my living room, I really need to have my carpets cleaned more often. I asked Nick to put me on an annual reminder list, so I won?t let it go too long. I have used Nick?s carpet cleaning services in the past and I will certainly do so again in the future. So happy with the results!

We've used Nick's services a few times now and he's always on time, super friendly and goes the extra mile (cleaning even our couch pillows). Everything seems sparkling. We have a loveseat with some rips and tears and he told us that cleaning could cause tearing to worsen. We said go ahead and if there was tearing, it wasn't noticeable. Highly recommend.

They performed the job as arranged. The deal was for three rooms. We made an arrangement for them to do two rooms and a stair case. They charged per stair, and ended up being $42 above the purchased deal, which I thought to be fair. The quality was what I expected.

All went well. I also asked them to do 5 chairs that needed some spots removed and they were able to remove them successfully. The rooms look great. There were a few ripples while still wet but they were completely gone by evening when the carpet was all dry. I am waiting to put the furniture back just to give it another day to dry thoroughly. Thank you for the great service.

Overall it went well, couch and carpet look great and dried quickly. They arrived on time and got right to work, were professional and courteous. The only problem area was where there was pet urine...the cleaning didn't eliminate the smell.

I was so happy to go back to Nick for carpet cleaning after trying another cleaner last year. He even took it in stride when I canceled and had to reschedule - twice!! He and his guys are happy to chat or to just get on with the job. They worked around two kids home from school, a 60-lb. dog that jumped over the safety gate and starting downstairs because of a conference call going on upstairs. He and his crew of two (Gary & Peter, I think) show up on time. We do a walk-through and I point out some stains from dog vomit (yellow); those are just faintly there when he's done, but they may fade as everything dries. We have some rubber/rust stains upstairs that, as we both predicted, would not come out. Otherwise my carpets are very clean and fluffy again. The red faux-suede couch looks so much better. Dark mystery stains are gone. I can now flip the cushions over to either side! P.S. I judge price on quality, not just quantity. He may not be the lowest bid, but you will get more than you pay for.

Nick and his partner, Gary, are very professional and work efficiently. We were amazed at how our carpet in our main living area was able to go from gray to white again. Nick and Gary have always protected our furniture and stairwell and are very conscientious. We've always been impressed with his workmanship and we have recommended him to friends as well.

It worked out great! They were professional, nice and did a great job. I would use them again if needed.
