NEAT NIX CARPET CARE

Nick was able to come within a week of calling (the week before Christmas!) They were fast, professional, and protected the surrounding areas. One couch came out feeling a bit rough. Nick set up a time to come out and look at the issue. However, it wasn't needed because after a couple days of use, it just worked out fine on it's own. Would use him again.

Nick arrived on time with his assistant. Laid down protections for the corners in the doorways and did a very professional job being very careful about not sratching our new hardwood finished staircase. Very careful about moving any furniture and put the items that could be raised up on styrofoam blocks. The carpets look great.

He arrived on time, introduced himself and his partner, explained what to expect and was honest. After he cleaned my carpet, he explained how to tend to make sure to get the maximum out of it -- how long it would take to dry, the best way to clean stains, etc. After it was cleaned he made sure we understood what to do. If you want confidence in a carpet cleaning business -- go no further. Please ask me if you have questions - I know the difference between solid service quality --it's important to me w/ my lifestyle.

Nick and his associate were punctual, very friendly and did a great job. My couch and chair look awesome and it feels so good to know they are clean and that there were no harmful chemicals involved. I didn't worry about my kids being around during the cleaning or playing on the newly cleaned furniture. There was no smell at all and no mess. You couldn't even tell Nick was there other than the cushions being stacked in order to dry. I will definitely hire them again!

Nick is energetic, friendly, and very professional. He did a fantastic job for a great price. I had some sticky tape residue from cable covers in two places, and amazingly, he got it all out! I would not use anybody else!

Fantastic experience! Nick and his assistant Gary arrived right on time. They were very friendly, organized and their equipment was in great shape (always a good sign!). These guys got right to work and did a great job.. flawless. I've had carpets cleaned before, but never had I had people that cared so much about doing a good job. Nick is a really nice guy and was very easy to work with, from scheduling to payment. I felt totally comfortable having him and his assistant in my house. They treated it with absolute respect -- booties, corner guards, mats over hardwoods -- the works. They even vacuumed a couple cheap, synthetic rugs for free, which was very nice! They didn't even need to use any of my water to do the job, which was unexpected. Very modern equipment.. a sharp operation. No dumpy van or duct-taped hoses with these guys! Really liked how there were two of them on the job. I've used another service and had only one guy show up -- this doesn't only take much longer, but it is painful to watch one guy try to move furniture by himself... I always end up offering to help! Not so with Nick and Gary... I enjoyed feeling lazy sipping my coffee on the couch, listening to Nick tease me about working so hard work! Next time I need any steam cleaning services performed, Neat Nix will be the only place I call.

Nick & his assistant arrived on time, did a thorough job of cleaning, & left our 11 year old carpet looking clean & fresh.

It went great. I was really happy with how the carpets and couches came out. Everything looks great. Initially I thought he was pricey but after seeing finished product, TOTALLY worth it.

Very professional and answered our questions and made helpful suggestions.

Nick arrived on time. He came in and measured the area and gave us an estimate. He began by protecting the corners of the walls with guards. He cleaned the carpet and finshed by racking the carpet to lift the nap and allow the carpet to dry quicker.

We have a small house with two small carpeted bedrooms (10x11) and an area rug in the living room that needed cleaning desperately. Nick arrived exactly when he said he would and, along with a helper, knocked out the work in approximately 45 minutes. The carpet in the bedrooms looked great and dried enough to walk on with several hours. The area rug also dried within several hours and was back down on the floor that same evening. This is no small feat because we had multiple pet stains on each carpet and rug and they were all completely removed. It is several weeks later as I write this and the carpets/rug still look great. Nick was super nice, super reasonable, quick, easy to deal with, honest and reliable. We have decided to actually get our carpets cleaned more often now that we know we can rely on Neat Nix and Nick. Update 11/11/11: Three months after first working with Nick we did indeed call him up and have him come clean our carpets again, as well as two upholstered couches. The two couches are transformed and the rugs are clean and lovely. The work took about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Nick is great and his services are a great value.

Nick and Gary arrived about the stated time and got right to work; they were finished in less the time stated. Very professional and very nice. I have hardwood floors and care was taken to put cloths down under the furniture before cleaning. I would certainly use Nick's company again and would also recommend him to others.

Nick is AWESOME - I had used his service for whole house carpet cleaning and it was spectular! But Nick oud did himself on the 5 massive stains caused by my dog when he got very sick. He responded next day and even did a return trip for free when one of the stains wicked up from the pad. Great value, trustworthy, dependable!

Well enough: His machine broke down leaving three(3) steps unfinished. But when I called he did return and complete the job.

I had to get my carpets cleaned after a protracted illness of two of my cats. There was urine and feces damage to my carpets. I let Nick know and he gave me a quote over the phone of about $250 - $300. When he showed up on time, he revised the estimate down to $235 and was in and out in about 1.5 to 2 hours; exactly what he had estimated as well. He even left us booties to walk on the carpet until it had dried, which only took about 8 hours. The quality of the work was fantastic. No stains and no odor afterwards. I will definitely be recommending/using him again! One small detail: he didn't leave the bill/details of the visit. I suppose I should call him for that!

I called Nix mid week and got scheduled for the next Saturday (like I wanted). They showed up on time ( a little early) gave us a detailed cost estimate, and started work right away. We have had the carpet cleaned twice before in this house (2 story 3200 sf) and Nick was best I've ever used. They protected the hardwood floors (other companies have never done that) and put corner protectors on each corner that the hose would have to wrap around. He described in detail what the spots where and warned us about using certain products because they were actually removing color from the carpet. He got traffic areas clean that I never expected to be clean again. They even fluffed the carpet before they were finished and it looks fantastic. He and his associate were both very friendly and professional at the same time. Recommend Neat Nix hightly.

Nick was the second carpet cleaner I had used - the first did not get out stains and left a tidemark of dog hair on the walls. Nick removed almost every stain and all the dog hair. Even more impressive - the day before he was due to clean the carpets my kids spilt red nail varnish on the stairs. I was in tears, the house was about to go on the market. I called Nick, he gave me advice on what to do, and the next day dealt with the nail varnish. The house sold and I have organised for him to clean the next one before I move in. Excellent service.

Punctual (even came a little early which helped me out). Did the cost estimate. Cleaned the carpets quick as a whisk. Friendly, professional, competent. Told me how long to wait before moving my furniture back in. Job was well done.

I contacted Nick Kovac (owner of Neat Nix Carpet Care) by phone on June 6th to ask if he could clean my carpet by June 8th, as it was required by my carpet warranty. He said he'd be at my house at 9am on June 8th and that's exactly when he arrived. He measured the rooms and looked over the loveseat and gave me a firm price on the work. His assistant, Gary and he went right to work. They use the hot water extraction method, which was a requirement of my carpet manufacturer (3M) and Nick is certified by IICRC for cleaning and restoration. I had several pieces of heavy furniture which I was not able to move. They moved these items, cleaned the carpet and replaced the items precisely where they had been, but put them on small blocks which aided in drying and eliminating indentations. The loveseat was very dirty as it is used exclusively by my dog. I told Nick I did not expect miracles, just wanted it to look and smell cleaner. They did a beautiful job on everything! My carpet is very light in color (cream) and is a Frise weave (a tight, twisted pile). It looks like the day I had it installed. And the "dog" loveseat came out so clean and fresh scented that I almost want to forbid the dog from sleeping on it (but she's an old dog and this is the only furniture she's ever climbed on - so I'll let her keep her loveseat...). Nick is very professional and personable. He explains everything and even left me a pair of "booties" to wear if I needed to walk in my living room before it was fully dry. I'm very pleased with the results and will definitely call Neat Nix for all my future carpet and upholstery cleaning.

I am so happy I learned about Neat Nix on Angie's List! Nick Kovac was super prompt in setting up a day to come to my house, and was not intimidated at all by the fact that I need the entire house carpeting done and my kitchen floor AND a couch upholstery in preparation for showing the house. The carpeting upstairs had accumulated almost 9 yrs of yuck and there were also stains on the downstairs carpet from some of the drywall work that had been done. The kitchen floor was awful from painting and drywall work that had been done. He came in the morning and by that afternoon, it was a completely brand new house! It's gleaming - stains that I thought would NEVER come out were gone! It was fabulous to walk into the house and see it so shiny and clean. All that for what I considered to be an incredibly low price considering the trouble he went to for all those stains and problems. I will recommend Nick to everyone I know and am proud to give him a great review here on Angie's List.

Overall job was very good, many stains (pet) he felt wouldn't come out did come clean.He was prompt, professional, friendly and timely. I especially liked the way he provided some education about how he cleaned, and needed to spot specific areas. I will call him next time.
