Description of Work: Our downstairs bathroom was destroyed due to flooding and Minuteman was hired to rebuild it after the cleanup was performed. The Minuteman team was great at communicating and their detailed quotes are the best I've ever seen. The price was very affordable compared to other bids we received. Their work was top notch and they showed up bright and early each day ready to work. We're very happy with our remodeled bathroom and would definitely recommend Minuteman Construction to our friends and family.

Description of Work: Ben and Danny responded to an urgent need we had to add bull nose on to the front of stairs before carpet was to be installed on 11/23. Danny conducted the work in superb, high quality fashion. The carpet installers commented when they arrived, "Wow, that really turned out great. They did high quality work!" The stairs are now complete and we are very satisfied with the work Ben and Danny provided to us.

 + -1 moreWorking with Ben, Danny, Jason and the crew was wonderful. Communication was excellent. When we hit challenges we worked through them and I was pleased with the outcome. Their pricing was competitive but they were not the low bid but I am so pleased I choose them. I did have to wait a bit to get worked into the schedule but the peace of mind having them made it worthwhile. I strongly recommend Minuteman Construction!

I passed along the estimate from my insurance provider and they took it from there; working with my insurance on a fair price to bring our basement back to pre-loss condition. It was such a relief to have them take on that responsibility. They obviously have a lot of experience in dealing with claims and estimates. Although Minuteman did not perform the moisture remediation, they are licensed to do so and double checked some of the work done by the company hired by my insurance company to be sure everything was in check. Their communication was excellent and they always followed through as promised. Above all they were very professional. I highly recommend Minuteman Construction.

 + -1 moreBen is the owner and whom I worked with. He is incredibly detailed, thorough and personable to work with. We had a water pipe leakage with the Wirsbo pipping and had to file a claim with the manufacturer to have ALL the plumbing replaced in our house. I got an estimate done with Ben and he took an enormous amount of time with me in bringing in plumbers and floor experts to put together a comprehensive estimate of what needed to be done in repairs. He is wealth of knowledge and you feel like he is looking our for your best interests. The manufacturer went with another company for the repairs which was out of my control but I would use him in the future for any water damage repairs!

 + -1 moreFrom start to finish the communication was clear and consistent. Every question I had for Ben and his crew were answered with professionalism and patience. I couldn't be happier with the process considering that this renovation was triggered by an unfortunate mistake on my part which created water damage. We decided to upgrade our floor from laminate to engineered hardwood and Ben was very helpful in helping us choose the best option based on price and resale appeal. I couldn't be happier with the finished product. Leo and Danny were the crew who did all the work on our house and they were thorough and clean each and every day they left the house. Also, We didn't have any issues with being on vacation while the work began. Without reservation, I highly recommend Ben and his crew.
Description of Work: The provider removed and installed flooring which included removal and installation of all the baseboards in our main floor and lower level bathroom components as well as drywall repairs.

 + -1 moreBen and the guys at Minuteman were great at a time when we were without the use of our kitchen after our water damage. They walked us through the process and took care of every step of the way, relieving a lot of the stress we were feeling after the complete loss of our kitchen floors. Ben dealt with the insurance company on my behalf and fought for everything needed to restore everything to better than new, he even took time out of his schedule to shop flooring with us. They communicated the right amount of detail and provided a lot of insight to all of the options we had. The craftsmanship and quality of work is the best I have seen, they pay attention to detail and take pride in their work, absolutely top notch. Their crew was very respectful of our home and I enjoyed having them, as they were all good folks and hard workers. You could tell from watching them work that quality is their main focus, and making the homeowner happy. With any future projects, I couldn't imagine working with another construction company other than Minuteman. I highly recommend them and am sure your experience will be as good as ours was.

I was very impressed with how Ben and Jason handled our claim. They helped us through the rat nest of the insurance company. Minuteman Construction was so great to work with. I really enjoyed having the guys around. It was like I had known them for a very long time and we were all friends. I will defiantly use them for all my home projects.

 + -1 moreOverall we couldn't have asked for a better outcome. My mother lives in Or. I live in Eastern WA. Ben Culley owner of MINUTEMAN CONST was in contact with me via phone and email on a regular basis to offer suggestions and to keep us informed of the progress. Mom had to be moved out for the reconstruction due to an asbestos abatement issue and Ben was always on the track to get her back in her home in 30 days. He found a cabinet maker to build a vanity that would fit nicely into mom's bathroom and she loves it. It's very scary to manage such a big project long distance and Ben was always there to answer questions and offer suggestions, even down to making suggestions regarding replacement linoleum and carpet. I wouldn't hesitate a and ldquo;minuteand rdquo; to recommend MINUTEMAN CONSTRUCTION to friends and family! Great company with wonderful work ethics!

 + -1 moreThe entire room looks AMAZING!!! My wife and I went on vacation that week and let them do their work. When we came home from our trip, we felt like we were on one of those house remodeling shows. It was awesome to come back to such a beautiful change to our house!! We had a meeting with them prior to the project beginning. They mapped everything out the room on their tablet and took several pictures. They were able to supply us with a very detailed estimate that showed the layout of the room, what paint goes on what walls, where the electrical would be, etc... The estimate listed the supplies, labor, everything. It was extremely nice to not have any surprises. In addition, because of their detail on the front end, they only needed to call us on our vacation a couple of times. This was just to let us know how it was going and to get a couple of minor decisions worked out. I have recommended their work to friends and the feedback I got was just as good as my own experience. I will be using Minuteman Construction for all of my future projects. They are very professional and, at the same time, add a caring personal approach to their customers' needs.
Description of Work: They remodeled our unfinished bonus room into a theater room. This included drywall installation and repair, carpet removal, hardwood floor laminate installation, electrical installation for switches and outlets, in wall speaker installation, wall and ceiling texture, paint, projection screen installation and installation of the ceiling mounted projector. In addition, they installed real theater seats into the floor that we received from some friends.

They were very efficient, they had to cut out our flooring and they had to take out a large portion of the wall board in our garage and an installation and put that all back together. I have our carpet re stretched in and cleaned and they did an excellent job. I would use this provider again in the future.

Description of Work: Due to water damage caused by a broken pipe, my father had to have extensive work done in his mobile home. Ben & Jason of Minuteman Construction were absolutely fantastic in all aspects of work that needed to be done. I live out of state so all comunication with them was over the phone & via emails. Ben kept me up to date on all the repairs that were completed & yet to be done. They went above & beyond the scope of work that they did. Not only do they do quality work, but they take a personal interest in their customers which you don't find very often these days! If my father ever needs any repairs in the future we will without a doubt be calling Minuteman Construction. I highly recommend Minuteman Construction.

They were accessible when we had questions, informative, and innovative -- helping us to maximize the space. They were clean and took every precaution with equipment and furnishings. We were very impressed with their attention to detail and how thorough they were -- we have not had to call them back to fix anything. They were forward thinking and considered future scenarios as they designed the spaces, achieving a final product that both matched the existing structure and kept resale value in view. We couldn't be happier with the quality of craftsmanship and never fail to receive compliments from all our guests. The spaces they created for us are absolutely stunning, and we have continued to enjoy them fully.
Description of Work: Built a 1200 square foot, 2 story addition onto our home, including a main-floor mother-in-law apartment and new second-floor master bedroom suite and laundry. Designed rooms to accommodate existing furniture pieces I wanted to keep. Extensive custom tile work, including soaker tub, 24 square foot dual shower head, walk-in shower in master suite and tile flooring in mother-in-law bathroom. Built custom shelves and cabinet box to match vanity I purchased for mother-in-law bathroom. Removed bedroom upstairs in existing construction to create a beautiful hallway to the master suite with laundry facilities, new water heater, large linen closets, and treadmill "garage". Built custom shelving in walk-in closets upstairs and down. Added new patio with reinforcement for future hot tub and built upper deck. Installed trim, base and crown molding throughout and painted everything. Installed laminate flooring throughout, extending through the existing upstairs hallway. Also installed custom french doors in bedrooms upstairs and down. Managed the process of obtaining permits for the new structure and managed subcontractors for excavation, foundation and concrete work, framing, roofing, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and drywall.

From design and scheduling to materials purchasing, delivery, and construction, they handled everything. It is also obvious, both in watching them work, and in the finished product, that they don't 'cut corners,' but place a high priority on quality in everything they do. They have also donated and loaned equipment for our on-site staff to use at other times to complete other projects. We can't really say enough good things about them. We have appreciated their generosity, personableness, timeliness, and quality work throughout, and would certainly recommend them to our neighbors as contractors that don't simply care about making a buck. Description of Work: Camp Lacamas is a local (Camas, WA) non-profit kids summer camp. Ben & Jason (Minuteman Construction owners) and their crew have volunteered the last couple of years to complete projects on our campus that were badly needed, materials and labor, free of charge. Their 2013 projects included removing and replacing a set of exterior stairs with a landing and cover that had rotted and was limiting our use of upper rooms in our auditorium, as well as re-siding a portion of our dining hall. Their 2014 project was more creative and included building a castle as part of our summer camp theme and for use in our activities and programming. They also stained and finished the concrete floors in our auditorium and remodeled our performance stage.
