Minuteman construction was fabulous! They went above and beyond. We had a roof leak and they, along with DryTime, were on it. Our build back turned out so great. It is now one of our favorite rooms in the house. We were devastated that our roof leaked with a new baby on the way, but minuteman made the process so easy for us to get back to using our space. They were prompt, efficient, and straightforward. I highly recommend this company, as their workmanship is top notch quality.

We had the opportunity to work with MinuteMan and their sister company DryTime due to a water leak. DryTime came in immediately and took care of our issue which took some research as the leak wasn’t apparent. They found the leak quicker than the insurance companies assigned contractor and helped us negotiate with the Insurance company to cover the Claim. They know their insurance law more than I think the insurance company does. They went to bat for us and ensured we were well taken care of. Best part was they handled it all and took the ownership to get it taken care of verse myself having to work with the insurance company. Since we were having MinuteMan in to deal with our water leak restoration, we decided to add on a few projects of our own. MinuteMan’s team was amazing to work with. From their project manager that had the expertise of what was doable to what things we might want to add on due to appearance and aesthetic down to the individual works completing the project. They all paid close attention to detail, made sure we were comfortable being in the home while they were working and were super respectful to all of us (even when kids were running through the house). I can’t say enough how much I enjoyed working with them all. I feel that I got everything I wanted in our remodel plus due to working with them!

Minuteman construction was on it. From start to finish, we were taken care of. Ben always ew kept us in the loops, was professional and really advocated for us when our insurance company tried to cheap us out of property damages . I don't know what we would have done without this company helping us along the LONG process that was our claim. I cant say enough about how impressed I am with them. Not only did they come out, after months and months of waiting to start a project, but they were also patient and helpful. When the day finally came to start the work, I knew we were in good hands. We planned on selling our home and trusted them so much we let them pick the finishes based on what they believed would sell. Our house hit the market on a Thursday and was sold by Saturday. We walked into an entirely different home. Floors were beautifully done, paint was spot on, and our bathroom that was gutted last year was beautiful for the first time ever. Ben was prompt in his responses, and the work his company did is the reason our home went 27k over the asking price in 2 days. I recommend them to anyone and everyone looking for construction on their home.

I will start off by saying that in my opinion, you can do no better than to hire Minuteman Construction. They absolutely are THE BEST company I have ever had the privilege of working with on a project. I have, what has up until recently, been consider by many to be the best insurance company there is available to a select group of people. Not only was that not the case for us, but my insurance company actively tried to undercut what our project cost to repair. In my opinion, Ben & Minuteman absolutely saved us from being under-compensated for a huge project after massive damage to our home. Without their help, I ballpark we would have come up approximately $100,000 short for the project to be completed correctly. Minuteman stuck by us the entire time and sent document after document and fielded call after call from an insurance company that only wanted me to take, what they wanted to offer. Minuteman was our only protection & a guiding light to how to deal with the insurance portion without involving lawyers. The work Minuteman Construction did on our house was excellent as well. Not only did they make it as simple as possible during the height of the pandemic, they were always very respectful and considerate of our high-risk family. All of our walls, ceilings, floors, lighting, plumbing had to be replaced and they did a wonderful job with very keen attention to detail. We worked with two project managers, Nathan & Danny, and they were in constant contact with us and each other making sure the little things were taken care of as well as the big things. They know their business inside and out. Everything they ever told us was confirmed to be correct. I trust them very much. I cannot recommend this company strongly enough. If more businesses looked out for their customers like they do, then dealing with home restorations/renovations wouldn't be so bad. These guys are the real deal and I will absolutely use them again and would be proud to recommend them to everyone! You will be in good hands if you chose Ben & Minuteman to handle any project you have.

My husband and I went through quite the headache and a six-month-long battle with our insurance company to build back our home from water damage. It was scary at first to trust someone with such a large claim, but Ben quickly proved his knowledge and expertise in this industry. In every single conversation, Ben was able to back up his reasoning to the insurance company and support us in order to get what we deserved. We are so grateful Ben continued to fight for us and help us understand the process because today we have a safe home with beautiful craftsmanship. Scott was one of the contractors on our job site and his attention to detail was not unnoticed. He took time perfecting every aspect of the home ensuring our island was perfectly level and our baseboard corners were cut seamlessly. It's the little details that show a company takes pride in their work. I hope no one ever has to go through a home insurance claim, but in the unfortunate event that you do I would highly recommend Minuteman Construction.

Our finished basement flooded and everything had to be completely ripped out. I can't swing a hammer to save my life, but Minuteman was there for us. The work looks spectacular! Our insurance wouldn't cover the repairs, so we were very stressed about costs. Other General Contractors on the past simply told us, "We'll do whatever you want," (with the unspoken addendum, "and charge you for it"). However, Ben and Nate at Minuteman offered great suggestions to keep costs down, and had really valuable insights as far as what finish looks, styles, etc. would work. When the crew showed up to do the work, they were just as professional as the management. Chad, Blaine, and Taylor acted more like guests: they were so respectful and considerate during the week they were here. No loud music or off-color conversations, and on one of their breaks they even spent 5 minutes throwing autumn leaves in the air with my 3 y/o while he was playing outside. The fact that they were that respectful and considerate to our son means the world to us. What sets Minuteman apart is the quality work, professional conduct, and personal integrity from the top down, from the owners to the new hires: Ben told me after the fact that this was one of the crew member's first job, but they were all so on top of things I had no idea!

MinuteMan came into our lives as the result of a small powder room flood. We combined our flood repair with an extensive kitchen remodel. We entertained many bids for our job and were turned down by companies who did remodels, but refused to do insurance work, or companies who solely did insurance work, not remodels. Fortunately for us, MM does both! Ben Culley, one of MM’s owners, has extensive experience in doing insurance work and dealing with adjusters. His knowledge was invaluable to us and he refused to let our insurance adjuster lowball our claim or bully him. We are so very grateful Ben was on our side! People, we’ve all heard about kitchen remodels and what a disruptive, intrusive NIGHTMARE the experience can be. We were prepared for the worst - noise, dust, dirt, our home filled with strangers, delays, increased expenses - all of that happened except the increased expenses! Here are my thoughts about the other things; 1. Yes, it was noisy. Sounds of saws, hammers and the air compressor were our new playlist. So we either left our home for a few hours or put in ear buds. It wasn’t impossible. 2. Dust and dirt are a given when you’re tearing something down to build something new. No surprises there, but the guys were very conscientious about placing plastic walls and caring about us. They actually apologized for the mess! But every evening before quitting time, they cleaned it up, moved their tools and made the work space presentable. They never forgot they were inside a private home with people still trying to live there. 3. The men who fixed our bathroom and created our new kitchen started out as strangers and quickly became members of our family! Chad, Charles, Bryan, Clark, our job foreman, Nathan - you guys know who you are and we LOVED having you in our home! Heck, even our cats like you. Lol. 4. Delays were minor. We were told our entire project would take 6-8 weeks and it took 8 weeks. It would have been less but we decided, mid-project, to use the opportunity to repipe the house. it only added a week. I was amazed that the project went as quickly as it did. Our whole experience was outstanding. Working with MM was a fantastic experience. *A personal note: Ben, Nathan, Danny, Chad, Charles, Clark and Brian - you guys came to our home and blessed us by creating something stunning and timeless. You did it with professionalism and expertise and throughout the whole job, you consistently cared for us. We are so grateful for you!

It was great! They (Ben) orchestrated everything! From getting the plumber in here to fix the pipe, getting the service to dry things out, and then helping me find a quality product and even helped with the design aspect. The crew was very professional, and they always listened to any of my concerns and worked within my needs (it was during the Christmas Holiday). They cleaned up every day, even sweeping the sub floor. After the job, they scheduled a walk through and adjusted a few little tidbits for me. In spite of the disruption to our Holidays, it was a pleasure to work with them. I would gladly refer any of my friends to Minute Man Construction.

I cannot say enough about Minuteman construction! I expected the rebuild of my lower level to be difficult and drawn out. It was anything but thanks to Ben. He spoke on behalf of myself and my husband to make sure we got what was needed, from our insurance company, to restore our home to its original state. He took our situation personally and handled it with such ease. Had it not been for Ben my husband and myself would still be fighting with our insurance company for the money we required to rebuild our lower level. Thanks to his efforts the job is complete only 3 months after the backup occurred. Nate and his team of guys were amazing to work with. They were able to answer every question I had with ease and never once made me feel as though myself, my husband and our children were in the way (we had to stay in our home for the process). The team of guys went above and beyond to make sure everything was as it should be and were quick to ask for my assistance on certain things to ensure I was happy with the end result. They were quick to diagnose any problems or point out minor fixes they thought myself and my husband might want taken care of and happily made sure the work was done without any delay to the schedule. I am so happy with the end result. They not only restored my house to its original state but they did it better with quality products/materials and an amazing attention to detail. Not one thing was left untouched or unchecked before the job was done. Cristen was amazing to work with as well. She handled all of my questions with ease, I asked a lot of them, and gave me some good pointers for working with my mortgage company to speed up the process of releasing funds. If there is one person you want on your team behind the scenes it is her. She was absolutely amazing! This entire team was so wonderful to work with. I highly recommend them whether you’re doing a remodel or have a sewage backup like myself. They will give you a great price and they will get the job done in a timely fashion with great attention to detail.

Minuteman went above and beyond for us. Our insurance was threatening not to cover us, but Ben with Minuteman was a life saver! If it wasn't for him we would still be fighting with our insurance to get the work done. My wife and kids said the workers were very clean and friendly which made them feel very comfortable homeschooling thru the whole experience. Work was done meticulously and within a time period we didn't think possible. I highly recommend Minuteman to family and friends.

We experienced major water damage to our home due to a water leak in the crawl space. We were fortunate in contacting Ben the owner of Minuteman Construction. When he came to our home to assess the damage, he assured us he would do everything to make our home beautiful again. We explained to him our concerns and preferences. We mentioned to Ben that we had contacted a company to repipe our home to fix the plumbing problem. He referred us to another plumbing company. I immediately canceled the contract with the initial company. The plumbing contractor Ben recommended did an excellent job of repiping our home and saved us $4,300. He referred us to a flooring company which had a wide assortment of choices and we were able to save 25%. The craftsman at Minuteman Construction included Danny who is co-owner along with Ben. The entire team did a great job of tearing out the old flooring, replacing and reinforcing damaged floor joists and installing new base boards. During the two weeks of activity, we had daily contact with Danny which made us feel comfortable. He would ask us if we had any questions or concerns. Every tradesman did an excellent job and were detailed oriented. I highly recommend Ben, Danny and the entire Minuteman Construction team. They made a difficult time in our lives less stressful. UPDATE: After reconsidering & explanations from the owner I believe they deserve an overall rating of an A. A little rocky at first, they were very busy and couldn't get to my project as soon as I would have liked, but in the end they did very nice work & the owner/manager went out of his way for me dealing with the insurance company.

When our bathroom flooded in the walls, I didn't know right away. The mold that came a week or two later was my first clue that something was wrong. After DryTime came out and fixed the mold issues, MinuteMan came to replace the damaged rooms. They were excellent! They were incredibly responsive, very knowledgeable in all aspects of the entire process (including the insurance aspects), highly dedicated to protecting me and my family while we went through it, and overall just amazing people. Everyone involved, from the clerks at the office to the foreman and contractors and business/project managers, was amazing. They went above and beyond on every level (even working on a major holiday to finish up the final relatively minor adjustments!) to make sure we were fixed as quickly as possible and to make sure that my insurance was kept honest when they tried to be dishonest. I was incredibly worried because we lost the majority of our kitchen, and all of our main bathroom, but our rooms look even better than they did before! They also did an excellent job working around our cats and making sure none of them got outside or were exposed to any harmful environmental aspects. I would hire them again in an instant, should I ever have a problem like this in the future (though I really hope this never happens again!!!!)

Minuteman Construction came through for us from the very beginning. They rebuilt our laundry room and installed new flooring and repaired the ceiling, as well as repainted the living room downstairs after our upstairs laundry room flooded. The build quality is superior, no cut corners or short cuts. They will go to bat for you with insurance companies as well, which is invaluable. This was our first major insurance claim, and they were kind enough to walk us through the process, and it was reassuring to have our contractor understand the details and ensure we were properly taken care of. Ben and his crew are trustworthy and professional and super responsive. If there happens to be something that needs to be changed, they are quick to respond and act. I couldn't recommend Minuteman Construction more highly. I was blown away each step of the process as to how easy it was. They are busy, as quality contractors are. But its worth the wait!! The end result speaks for itself.

Flat out fantastic. Beginning to end, each person I worked with took the time to explain the process, what to expect, and had thoughtful recommendations about how best to move forward with the project. From my first phone call with one of the owners all the way through to the project manager that took the time to stay late and finish a job on his own to make sure it was done right, my experience with Minuteman Construction has been above and beyond. Honest, professional, considerate. I would work them again in a second. I could not recommend them more highly.

Excellent! Minuteman is by far the most professional and fastest construction restoration business in the area. Their first class service is consistent and their well trained employees work fast and efficiently. They work together with their adjacent water restoration company DryTime which made the process easier and fast! Danny who’s the head boss made sure the job is done right! Hands down I definitely recommend their service if anyone wants the job done right and professionally.

Approximately one year ago my wife and I engaged Minuteman Construction LLC to do a major renovation of our home. (There’s already a major issue with the floor, but that’s another story.) What really got me angry, though, was the issue of permits. Not being familiar with Washington law, I asked Ben Culley, Minuteman partner, if we needed permits and was told they were not necessary. Well, a construction permit may not have been required, but permits for the gas and electric work certainly were, but they were never obtained and there were no inspections. I didn’t realize this until several months later, when a kitchen circuit started tripping. Turns out the built-in microwave oven, the refrigerator and two “backsplash” outlets were on one breaker. Red flag. Washington law states that built-in microwaves must be on their own circuit. I learned this by talking with the lead electric inspector for this area and his associate. The refrigerator and the two outlets were ok on one circuit. In almost no time (the inspectors were great!) Minuteman was told that, at their expense, the project would have to be brought up to code by a licensed electrician. The company that did the work was very professional and everything passed inspection upon completion. I’m not going to go into what this cost Minuteman, but it had to be a few thousand dollars between the electrician’s fee and Washington L&I citations. YOUR TAKEAWAY FROM THIS SHOULD BE THAT IF YOU’RE USING MINUTEMAN CONSTRUCTION LLC FOR A RENO PROJECT, YOU SHOULD PRESS THEM FOR PERMIT INFORMATION SO THAT YOU KNOW YOUR HOUSE WILL BE SAFE. Oh, and Minuteman also didn’t apply for a permit for the gas work either. So Ben, you owe me $31.75 in fees to the City of Washougal.

From start to finish Minuteman Construction is fantastic! After extensive water damage, we required a total kitchen rebuild, along with all new flooring. Ben professionally and kindly handled all of the insurance issues, which was such a tremendous relief and blessing...we are so grateful. Ben, Cristen, Danny and others are all wonderful to work with. They always explained all of the details, and provided excellent service every step of the way. I highly recommend Minuteman Construction for anyone in need of such services. A+

Minute man and dry time were absolutely fabulous when we had water damage to almost our entire house. They came right away to assess the damage and start the drying process and then worked tirelessly with our insurance company to ensure they were covering what should be covered due to the damage. Not only did the guys at minuteman do awesome work putting out home back together, they went above and beyond, making sure the little details were completed to make our home sooooo nice to come home to after a long hotel stay! Danny managed/oversaw all the work on our house and was always so friendly and helpful. Ben went above and beyond expectations advocating for us with our insurance adjuster. This is the kind of service you don’t get with a big name mitigation company. I am so glad we were given the recommendation to use minuteman and dry time. A flooded home is horrible but Ben and Danny helped to ensure our home was taken care of and made the experience as nice as it could be. If you want amazing work and someone on your side through a less than fun situation- give them a call!!

Ben and his team did an exceptional job on a complete kitchen build back and remodel along with painting and carpeting our large family room, living room and hallway. Ben really knows his way around the insurance claim process. We paid for additional work above and beyond the claim amount. The additional cost was fair and reasonable. I can't say enough about the professionalism and quality work that was done on our home. The two photos don't show a backsplash, I will be personally installing it at a later date.

Ben and the Minuteman Team were spectacular to work with holding our hands through what would have otherwise been an absolute nightmare. From providing years of expert advice in working through the insurance claims process (which turned out to be a significant challenge for us) to expertly informed opinions on exactly how we should move forward w' our main floor remodel and flooring replacement and finally, absolutely flawless execution of the work, in the stated timeframe w' good communication from all parties involved. We absolutely would work w' Ben, Danny and team again w' no hesitations....in fact, I've already contacted them for some additional remodel work!!

I can’t say enough good things about Minute Man. They made a really bad situation (flood build back right before we listed our house for sale) into a bearable situation. They refinished the house beautifully and expertly matched the replaced floor and molding to our 100+ year original floor and molding. It looked amazing. Not only is their work and craftsmanship unbeatable, they were professional and courteous through the entire project and treat our house as they would their own. Ben also dealt with our insurance claims adjuster. We really appreciated his expertise in navigating the claim and saving us the time and headache from dealing with the insurance company. Lastly, since we were listing the house we also had them do some other minor repairs, which looked great. I would work with Minute Man again and recommend them to all my friends and family.

In the end, we worked with them not only to rebuild our kitchen, but to make improvements that left it better than before. While having an accident like this is nothing you hope happens, in the end - we have the kitchen of our dreams.
