As of the time this review was done. Our roofing crew is about half way done. Working around the winter weather, wind, cold, and Holidays ..............They have done everything they said. We will be ecstatic to see the end product and completion soon. I will enjoy knowing that our roof needs will be no worries for the next 50 years putting me well into my latter 90's.That you simply can't put a price on. Bottom line, The roofing crew showed up when scheduled, and worked efficiently, professionally, and cleaned up at the end of each work day. As I said previously, meeting some additional challenges of an install in December weather. Thumbs up to those guys and to Reve Exteriors. Their price range was competitive with other bids, with the exception that competitors were offering a lower end product at a cut-rate labor because of the winter months, and for an overlay , not a complete re-roof as Reve would not do. My respect goes to anyone willing to do the job correctly to not just make a quick $$. All of the research we did still has Reve leading in every category from start to finish. Our thanks to Richard, and the hard working guys doing the install.

About one week late after my meeting with Richard Macklin, I got a very nice Thank You card for accepting REVE Exteriors, LLC to do my roof. How many companies do you know will go the extra mile! When the job is done I will report the outcome. My neighbors are going to be so jealous!

We worked with Richard Macklin, who I feel was very honest and upfront with us. Too many salespeople put down their competition to make themselves look better, but they don't realize if their product stands on its own they do not need to do that. Richard was one of the few salespeople that we've worked with, who didn't do it at all. He was focused on helping to educate us, since we had no previous experience with purchasing a new roof. Richard Macklin provided the estimate and service. He was prompt, courteous, and explained in great detail the product and how it was installed. He went out of his way to accommodate our schedule, both for the work, but met with us on his day off to complete the paperwork. He called back when messages were left, and made sure the job was done according to the specs.

We are still in the process but the salesman Richard was great found out all about roofs and why a good roof is so important. Also they only work with one kind of roof that is guarenteed for life and is approved by the good housekeeping seal of approval which is very very hard to get. Richard made sure that we understood everything about our new roof. He took his time and explained every little detail. I am now an informed customer and very pleased with everything so far. I recommend them highly and Richard deserves a raise for all of his knowledge and patience.

Richard showed up on time, (taking into account my hours with the Post Office) was low key, (no high pressure tactics) very thorough in explaining condition of current roof and ventilation system (it could probably last another year or two) and how we could benefit from newer products and technology not available when we last did our roof ( 1996 ). He was very helpful at helping pick out the right product, financing and discounts.

Richard initially contacted me to identify if a new roof was needed. Due to a leak I noticed from the interior, I thought it would be timely to begin the discussion. He assessed my current roof, admitting that I could maybe wait another year or two before moving forward, but advising that I act as soon as possible in order to prevent damage to the home. I knew the existing roof was on it's last leg, as I had a number of roofers over the past year tell me the same thing. He measured the home, calculated the amount of material I would need, and then presented a number of options to fit my budget, informing me of the benefits and differences of each. He was kind and courteous, allowing me to voice my concerns and needs before offering a solution. Having Richard in my home was comfortable, and I was able to trust that he was not just there to make the sale, but rather to make sure I understood the benefits of a new roof and that I understood it was my choice of when and how I was going to proceed. He offered me excellent financing options, and got me on the calendar in less than a week! I am so excited to have a new roof- it is going to look great, protect my home, and add value to my home. There is no doubt that I will get every penny I'm investing in return when/if I choose to sell. I highly recommend anyone speak with Richard of Reve Exteriors to identify if/when they may need a new roof. The entire experience was pleasant. Being in sales myself, I am able to easily identify those salesmen who simply want to make the sale, and those who are invested in the customer and their satisfaction. Richard is definitely the latter.

I called Reve Exteriors to bid my roof which needed to be replaced. They did not send someone to bid, they sent a sales rep who spent 2+ hours explaining everything my roof supposedly needed. He then slapped down his clip board and showed me the "bids". If you agree to hire us right now, we will cut you a 20% discount but it's only good while I'm here and presenting this offer. Otherwise you will have to pay full price after I walk out the door. We also offer financing. The bid for my roof was $22,000 and change. RIDICULOUS! I had scheduled another contractor to bid the roof 2 hours after Reve's scheduled appointment. Unfortunately the sales rep was still spewing his nonsense and I had to apologize profusely to the other contractor who arrived. He said no problem, I can do the estimate and leave it with you. It took him literally 15 minutes. The bid was $9,900! I had 2 other contractors bid who were relatively in the same ballpark. Reve Exteriors is a rip off and a HUGE waste of time. Wish I would have known ahead of time! P.S. They still call about every 2 - 3 months to see about their bid and if I need their services. I have told them every time to kindly remove my name from the call list, my roof is complete and their services will never be needed.

Reve Exteriors are a great company to work with. They contacted me about a new roof in the beginning of Sept. 2015. The salesman Richard was very knowledgeable about the products they use and took the time to look in the attic and address my concerns about leakage. He confirmed there were no leaks, but showed me how the attic was not "breathing" properly and showed me the many reasons why. He showed me how they install vents on the roof as well as the ridgeline vents. He then showed me the GAF Tiger Paw underlayment and how they use it instead of the common felt, or "tar Paper" that almost all roofing companies use. The tiger paw is actually waterproof but the "tar paper", which actually contains no petroleum based products, is not waterproof at all. I was sold when I was told their roofing is LIFETIME warranty. Richard told me one of their reps would be calling to schedule a time for the removal and install in a day or two. The rep called the next morning, very pleasant to talk to. She gave me a start date of Sept.25th(Friday) and said it would take 2 to 3 days to complete the job. I looked at the forecast and noticed we were going to possibly get rain that day. She called back the next day and said they had moved up the date and were going to be able to start 2 days earlier, I was thrilled!! The crew arrived on Wednesday 9-23-15 and began the tear off, by 7pm Thursday(9-24-15) the job was completed. It was too dark to see the finished product but was happy because the next day called for rain. The next morning the crew was back to clean up anything missed the day before, i.e. nails, staples, and debris. They used magnets to collect all the staples and nails out of the entire yard, and even went over the neighbors yard some to make sure. Sure enough the weather forecast was correct, after signing the papers it started raining hard. I was so glad they started when they did, otherwise it would've been done in the rain. After completion, Richard the salesman, called to check on everything and to see if I was happy with how everything went. I thought that was really cool, he wanted to meet with me and answer any questions I might have. I would highly recommend this company to anyone I meet. As a Realtor, it is my job to provide excellent customer service to my Clients. In this case, I was calling to get a bid for the re-roofing of a 1600 sq.ft. ranch style home that I have currently under contract. The inspection indicated that a new roof was in order, and it is my job to get bids. We need and will purchase a new roof within 30-days. The Buyer & Sellers have agreed to split the cost. When I called, the young man refused to work with me because I was not the home owner... He said that unless I had power of attorney for my Clients, they could not work with me at all...not even to go do a bid. I feel this is ridiculous! None of the other roofers I've called reacted this way, and it feels fishy to me. I would not use this company.

Salesperson, richard macklin, explained thoroughly the roofing procedure and materials to be used. He was professional. Our roof was installed in less than two days. The crew was professional and on time. We are pleased with their work. I hope the young men are paid well because they hard workers. 9/2 update. The rainy season has started and after a few days of rain we have a leak around our solar light tube and a puddle on our hardwood floor. I called Reve at 8 am on 9/1, he assured me that someone would call back that morning, come and take a look. Needless to say it didnt happen. I called the next day, same thing. I called again. Finally on 9/3 I received a call and was told the earliest that they could schedule someone would be 9/12. I really feel that I am getting the run around and that their follow up service leaves a lot to be desired.

I am normally one to complain, but this time I cannot! The young man that knocked on my door to set the appointment for Doug to come out was great. Doug the sales representative was awesome. He was 5 minutes early, which as we know in any business is right on time. The crew was fast and efficient. There were a few pieces of plywood that needed to be replaced that I had to add to my loan, but aside from that I cannot complain. My friends and family all know about the materials and the process of install. I pull into the driveway and see my woodland style shingles and had no idea it would change the appearance of my home so much. Thanks, Reve!

Contact The sale kid was decent and straight forward. No BS. I liked him. He didn't play games and quoted a prices I was not super happy with, but it was about what I expected, really. Measurements were taken and corrections made for the sub par roofing done by the same contractor. I was satisfied that much of the stuff I was unhappy about would be corrected. Why I decided to use them again I like the gutters and they are working as advertised. I like how easy they are to brush off. Day of work The team showed up and did a good job of communicating and correcting most of the errors from the roofing project. Again, the team fixed a few key items and showed me the results. But failed to really address some key issues you can see in the After deeper inspection photos. There is some dry rot, and a good contractor would have fixed this properly, not just brushed over the details. Plus there is some real poor measurement quality and alignments done with the gutters and how they interact with the shingling work. I will correct these flaws myself. I asked for a roofing/gutter job that I would not have to worry about again. I did not get that, but it may be close enough that I can fix the weaknesses they overlooked. Paying the Bill I was waiting for the bill to pay the final amount. That didn't happen. They did finally call and ask if I was paying the bill. I was paying the bill, but I was waiting on them. Again, it really feels like they are new at this and not sure how to process business. I paid the bill and we are done. It went well. The Reve Exteriors Rep. who came to the house for consultation was very nice and knowledgable in everything we needed to know and what they were doing. The men who came to do the work were professional and did not waste time. They showed up got right to work without messing around. The tear down was fast and they managed the mess quite well. Roof install was fast and they did a great job even in some areas I thought might be difficult to work in. When having a roof done though this one seemed pricy, it is a long lasting roof and an inspector even comes to ensure they did it right or they have to do it again. Great guarentee.

The Short Story. Sales pressure was high, but not unexpected. Project Manager was never present on site. Speed was more important than finishing all the work I wanted. Attention to detail was lacking across the board. * They did not collect my e-mail address and then referenced they would send me a picture of the crew, which also did not happen. * A gift card was promised for taking the time to have an estimate. Still have not received. * Magnetic sweep was not done. * Despite my asking over and over, they simply did not sell me gutters or fix ALL the issues I pointed out. The guy who knocked on my door, gave me a coupon for $25 gas or Fred Meyer gift card.I never got that. They called and asked for my information to send it, still have not received it weeks later. I called to ask about the dry rot on the fascia (ends of roof) and we reviewed on the return visit Feb 14. I also asked about replacing the gutters and the fascia boards behind them. He said it was part of a roofing job. I didn't really believe that, but I rolled with it. We added some extra boards to the job, no price change.We talked about using treated wood, he said it was always used there. I worry he didn?t try to sell me gutters cause he would have to redo the financing contract and didn?t want to have to drive out again. That had to be done later anyways due to the extra $900 for fascia boards that were done. There was a real drive to get a good review on Angies list. It was part of my ?deal?. I didn?t see that I got a deal, but my price was about normal for the area. I really liked the material and warranty, I hope it holds true. The dumpster was late and I started e-mailing them to let them know it was later. I don't use the phone any more than I have to. There were 2 contacts available to me, the ONLY one that ever talked to me during the entire construction was the Project Coordinator. The only time I heard from the Project Manager was when they wanted more money. The crew showed up and started tearing the roof off, despite the missing dumpster, which was fine. They didn't do a complete job of taping around the house, but it was done well enough. I have done roofing before and understand the mess that happens. The crew was here for 3 days and the entire time I tried to get them to fix all the fascia boards and any other problems they came across. The good thing, when they did fix things, it was done well. But there are still a couple of parts I wanted done, and they simply were in too big of a hurry to get out in 3 days. I know, I live in the sticks, but you signed up to do the work. Another 4 hours and I would have been delighted. The roof looks good, and I still have some more work to do, as well as fully replace the gutters, but I will get someone else to do that. The guys took great effort in cleaning up the yard, but I never saw a magnetic sweep. We did that ourselves and found MANY nails, not all of which could be attributed to the roofing job, but many clearly were from this project. There were two divots in the yard from the dumpster, but it really was the only reasonable place to put it. We patched up the divots easy enough. In general, it all felt like speed was more important than quality, not just from the crew but also from sales to the short interaction I had with the Project Manager. Update After the gutter work they did, I really feel like the workmanship was substandard. Leaving dry rot in place where I specifically pointed it out and they missed it where I missed it, which if they were nailing into the boards, it would have been obvious. Poor craftsmanship.

Part of it was good, part of it was really bad. The workers were a day late. There customer service has been a nightmare. They also gave us false information in the presentation.

A door-to-door solicitor came to my home setting up appointments with estimators/sales people to sell roofing. I needed a new roof and was in the process of collecting estimates, they are a company in our neighborhood, so I thought I'd hear them out. The sales person came at the appointed time, spent a few minutes outside the house, then came in and proceeded to deliver a hyper-aggressive sales pitch. I was very clear that I was just collecting estimates from contractors at this time, and was not prepared to move forward. I was also very clear that I was debating putting in a dormer, which would change the nature of the roofing project. The sales person did not know what a dormer was. I had to draw him a picture. We selected some hypothetical roofing materials, and he hand wrote an estimate as I sat there. His handwriting was barely legible, the form was a copy of a copy of a copy from a different company whose name had been scratched out, and, with no itemization, we were quoted a price of $13000. He asked if I wanted to put down a deposit and schedule the reroofing. I said no, thanked him for the estimate and told him I would be in touch once I'd seen some other bids. He said he could drop the price to $9000 if I scheduled with him today. I, again, declined. He got visibly irritated and asked if I was "a yes, a maybe, or a no. Because I can work with a yes or a maybe, but nos are basically wasting my time". I reasserted that I was not prepared to contract anything today, and reexplained my concerns about the dormer project. At that point, he got on the phone with someone he described as a crew manager and explained my concerns to this person. This person told the sales person to tell me that they would reroof the house immediately, and I should feel free to cut into the new roof to install the dormer, then they would come and fix the roof at no additional cost. ??? The back and forth on the phone went on for about ten minutes, after which I bluntly told the sales person there was no way he would leave with a sale, and he left, clearly annoyed. I received phone calls from Reve for the next six months, about once a week. I constantly asked them to remove me from they're call list, and, after I had a massive tantrum, they finally did. I eventually did contract for a new roof, without the dormer. Of the bids I collected, $8000 was the highest, $6000 being the average.

Reve was the first of several estimates I got to re-roof my house. I thought it was odd that two (sales) guys showed up and didn't even go on the roof (although they did measure from the ground). All other estimators at least got on the roof. Anyways, their price was considerably higher than anybody else, even for the same GAF Golden Pledge Warranty. They tried to 'close the sale' by offering me 15% off if I 'signed the contract now'. In my opinion this is a scam. I am sure they do good work, but reminded me of high pressure car sales…'what can we do to get you into this car/roof today'? Glad I took other estimates.

Mike and his colleague came out, looked at our roof and advised of what was happening up there. We were very impressed with the GAF product, not only product but the warranty is amazing. After talking it over we decided this would be the best fit for our home. We were also appreciative of the military discount offered. We were initially told it would be four weeks or so before our project would be started but it was actually only a week or so. The installers had the old roof tore off and most of the new roof on in a day. The came back the next day to finish up and clean up the area thoroughly. We were very thankful the project was done so quickly as my husband and daughter sleep during the day due to work schedules so it wasn't that disruptive to our normal schedules. The follow up has been great. All questions have been answered in a timely fashion.

The installers did a great job on the re-roofing of our home. They were thorough in cleaning up the work site. All of the staff at Reve Exteriors was very helpful. They responded quickly and professionally to all of our questions and concerns. Their price was higher than other quotes we received, but the quality of materials, and complete system and service was worth the additional money to get the job done right. Both Frank and Brock were very helpful in getting all of our questions answered, and following up on all of the details. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is in need of a superior job being done for a roof replacement.

It went great! We had a professionally trained and certified company representative, Mike. He was very knowledgeable in explaining everything. Reve's Exteriors tore off our old roof and fully completed our new roof not even a month after signing the paperwork! Their representative, Mike stayed in contact with us throughout the whole process with any additional questions. Just an overall great company and experience. We are loving our new roof and enjoying our upgraded appearance.

Reve is a shell company in Washington and subs out all their work to a company based out of Oregon. They have commission based sales people and very little project management types as their actual work is handled and coordinated by the Oregon company. Due to this set-up you will pay multiple markups as the work is passed along. With that as a preface, the Oregon company did do an excellent job. The GAF product is top of the line and the installers were prompt and efficient. Office coordination was poor but field coordination was excellent. If I were to repeat this job, I'd shop around a bit more to see if you could get a comparable roof at a more reasonable price.

Working with Reve was an overall excellent experience. The inspector was friendly and really took the time to educate us. The workers did a wonderful job, they were courteous and quick too, They really knew what they were doing and fun to watch. They took care of outside and cleaned up very well. ...I really appreciate what you guys did for us. If there is any thing I can do for you you guys just give me a call.
