Phil did an excellent job with moving my gas line in kitchen to new location. He started on time, walked me through the different options to install the new line, and installed a new line with a shut off valve with exceptional quality. He also inspected the line to make sure there are no leaks after the install. I highly recommend Phil and D&F plumbing.

James spent several hours, and did a thorough examination of my plumbing and sewer lines and discovered that this issue under my house was a lot worse than expected, with sagging pipes, etc. He was able to get everything working to a point that I could use my bathroom again, and provided me detail information on all my options, as well as the next steps needed in order to get the plumbing replaced.

These peoples price gouge insane - DO NOT USE!! I have a rental that had a leak coming somewhere from the washing machine area. The machine is less than a month old so we assumed there was something wrong with the plumbing since the machine is so new… maybe it got hooked up wrong, maybe the lines came loose or burst or something. It was a Saturday so I had to use the emergency service pricing ($199) just to have someone come out on Sunday since we didn’t want to have a continued leak. I was willing to pay the weekend $199 emergency service fee. They came out and looked at everything for about 10 minutes and told me, the machine is broken and we can’t do anything. And then charged me $575!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you freaking kidding me?!??? They literally did nothing but take a video and tell me that I need to call an appliance person. How and on what earth does that justify $575 worth of service???? I can’t imagine what they would have charged if they actually had to do any work. Will never use again and DO NOT RECOMMEND.

We needed emergency fixes and a tradesman showed up within just a couple hours of our call. Phil was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Would definitely call again.

We had a toilet leak that needed immediate assistance. It was after hours, but Phil was able to come and fix it quickly. He was behind knowledgeable, properly diagnosed the problem and talked me through the solution. Would definitely recommend D&F, especially Phil.

I was angered by this company. An awful experience all around. I’ll never even consider using this company ever again. So I had a drain pipe leaking in the crawl space underneath my house. So I contacted this company asking, “How much to have someone come out to take a look at the leaking drain pipe in the crawl space underneath my house, so that they can give an estimate on how much to repair it?” The gal at D&F responded by saying it would cost something like around $150 to have someone come over to take a look at the leaking drain pipe in the crawl space underneath my house, then they can provide an estimate to repair it. I said ok. So a guy from D&F came over and asked what he was supposed to do. I said I have a leaking drain pipe in the crawl space underneath my house. He said, “Oh, ok, that will be an additional $750 to have me crawl underneath your house to look at your leaking drain pipe so that I can give you an estimate on how much it will cost to fix it”. I told him no, I was told it would cost around $150 for that. He then got angry with me and started shouting at me, on the sidewalk in front of my house, in front of my family and in front of my neighbors, “YOU THINK IM GONNA CRAWL UNDERNEATH YOUR HOUSE FOR A MEASLY $150?!?? IS THAT WHAT YOU THINK??? QUIT WASTING MY TIME!!! YOU SHOULD BE GLAD IM NOT CHARGING YOU $1000 TO CRAWL UNDERNEATH YOYR HOUSE!!!” and he began to berate me for not agreeing to pay him $750 for something the gal said would cost around $150. This isn’t even for the cost of repairing the pipe. Just the cost to provide an estimate. They wanted $900 from me, to provide an estimate. Unreal. I then called an honorable and reputable plumbing company that charged around $100 to come take a look at the leaking pipe in the crawl space underneath my house, and they did that, as they said they would. No hassle. They then offered a quote, I accepted it, and the work was done. One of their competitors. Dealing with D&F was the most awful experience I’ve ever had with a plumbing company. I’ll never even consider them again.

Job was completed in a timely manner. Employee was extremely friendly and efficient.

Over three days and almost $6000. Incompetent repair skills. Failed to flush out the dirt from the repaired pipes causing extensive cleaning and flushing after initial repair. Initial repair $2230.00, subsequent cleaning and flushing $3742.50, total cost $5975.50. Terrible service and slow to respond.

They over promised when the work would be done. And Over Charged on the work they did.

Randy showed up. My husband told him exactly what was wrong. He typed up a quote and charged us 119.00 for the "visual inspection" All he did was stand in our yard. The company told me that most inspection and repair can be done same day. There was no chance he was prepared to actually find the leak... He said it works cost $900.00 to find the leak and $9000.00(nine thousand dollars) to fix the leak. The receptionist was not helpful and had a "perfected" script for angry costumers... The BBB is full of similar complaints...I should have looked there first.

Warren showed up on time, was respectful of our home- wearing shoe covers and cleaning up after himself, & flushed the water line and faucet which fixed the problem. He was honest and quick. Would definitely recommend D&F. We have used them before and have always been satisfied.

The plumber Chris was competent and performed the work satisfactorily. However, the price was outrageous. I won't go into the reasons I paid for it, but first the quoted price was nearly twice as high until Chris spoke with his boss, a page from the car dealer's play book. Ridiculous. Estimating the cost of the parts, I figured I paid more than $600 for less than an hour's work. I will be much more careful the next time I use plumbing services. I was between a rock and a hard place with personal problems and just couldn't deal with negotiating with another plumber after paying D&F their mandatory $119 for coming out. This was the worst experience I ever had with a home service and a very expensive lesson.

Awful. D & F is one of the worst predatory businesses out there. Call ProDrain instead. A tenant of mine made an error in calling D & F, even though ProDrain had unclogged the same drain she thought was the problem for $115 in 2020. D & F wanted $695 after hours fee for the same service, or $473.75 the next day during business hours. Total extortion pricing. I said no. Their $200 "diagnosis" was they thought the problem was a main line sewer clog. If they thought that, why offer to extort me out of $695 to try to clear a drain that they didn't think was the problem? Only predators behave like this. D & F then offered to try to clear the main line for $1500 after hours or $988.65 the next day. I felt like they just wanted to work me and my tenants to get me to agree to some outrageous fee. I asked their technician to explain why D & F gets overwhelmingly horrible reviews. He said: "We don't work with Yelp." Nor do they care what their customers think. I instead hired ProDrain, which is a very reputable company I have hired repeatedly. They did the work the next day for $295.00. Unlike D & F, ProDrain discloses their rates on the phone. D & F discloses nothing, even when asked, until they walk in the door. They then charge you $200, and try to extort you for much more. They are now trying to force my tenant to pay for work I did not authorize, and threatening to destroy her credit. Even though the contract they tried to get her to sign clearly states that the landlord (me) has to authorize the work. Which I did not. They are slimeballs. Unethical as can be. Avoid them like the plague.

I WAS HAVING AIR BUBBLE IN THE TOILET AND THE WATER WOULD DRAIN OUT. .THEY CHECKED EVERYTHING OUT AND SAID MY PIPES IN THE HOUSE WERE NOT CLOGGED HOWEVER AFTER SCOPING THE SEWER LINE OUTSIDE FOUND MY LINES HAD SETTLED CAUSING THE ISSUES. MY LINES HAD STANDING WATER IN THEM AND WHEN WE USED TO MUCH WATER IT BACKED UP INTO THE HOUSE. THEY WERE VERY FRIENDLY, AND THROUGH AND SENDING ME A QUOTE TO HAVE THE LINES REPLACED.

Ben Carter of D&F Plumbing was fantastic. Professional, friendly, fast, and knowledgeable. He worked with our timetable and did initial work with us, then patiently waited as we finished some remodel steps ourselves before returning to finish the job. Excellent work and work ethic.
