This company was the only one out of several estimators that gave us an option to install new shingles over the existing layer to save the cost of removing the original shingles. They correctly identified the source of a leak as being failed caulking above a window even though they said we could fix that, stop the leak, and conceivably wait another year to re-roof. This speaks highly of their integrity.

Don't Judge A Book By It's Cover..... We had 3 layers of very old roofing, cedar shake and 2 asphalt, and signs that a racoon was digging through the asphalt but stopped at the cedar and left it exposed. No signs of leaking but nearly there. I invited several roofing companies to come and provide me a quote. Josh E. came out, told us about his background and about Cutting Edge and the products they use and why , and showed a few pictures of their projects. He took the time to get on the roof and measured everything and even took pictures to show us after. The roof was worse than we thought. He was professional and cared about our issue and our safety. We even offered to do the tear-off ourselves to save costs, but Josh convinced us for safety reasons that this was not wise. Plus , I knew they were pros (with their own insurance ;) ) and they would be quicker at it than my sons. The quote was written up right then and there. Our budget concerns and financing were discussed and we liked the impression he made so we decided to sign the contract and gave a deposit during our first meet! I must admit I had reservations when he showed up in a small car and slacks and a tie, I thought...... where's his ladder? oh boy he's not even going to get onto the roof. Well, he did , with the rain and all...he had a telescoping ladder. =) We picked our roofing type and color, we scheduled the job to start that week due to the bad condition our roof was in. The crew got the job done in three days, 3 layers remember. We love our new roof. My husband's happy , I'm happy ! Communication with the crew was good , they were happy to accommodate us. Daily clean up was great. Another thing to point out was the integrity of this crew. When there was an issue, they were quick to address it and make it right. Joe was very easy to talk with and showed respect for myself and my property.

They also built a covered patio for our home that turned out incredible. The team cleaned up after themselves and did the entire job very timely. I would recommend Cutting Edge Contracting for your home improvement needs. Josh was easy to work with, we had some communication gaps intially but all in all very pleased with the work done.

Read the contract carefully, They have a 35% cancelation fee. The roof over our backyard deck was leaking really bad due to shady work from a different contractor. Cutting Edge came in a tore off all the old and replaced it with the correct type of Flat roofing material. I would recommend waiting till the end of the roofing season to get a better price and a sooner than expected install time frame. Overall, The wife is happy to finally not have to worry about roof leaks anymore. The black color of the torch down roof is not the best to look at but the neighbors don't seem to mind, after all, they're the ones who have to look at it everyday. They gave us a six year warranty on this roof which is twice what other company's would give us. The old roof was installed by someone the previous owners hired from Craig's List and did not have a clue as to what he was doing. We are confident it was done right this time with good quality materials and workmanship. The work was done in one day. It was a small Job so not surprises there. The site supervisor was hard to communicate with due to a language barrier but we are grateful they were able to get the job fitted in their busy schedule.

Kyle was their representative. He kept us informed all the way through the project and helped us work within our budget. Very professional. The painting team of Miquel, Armando and Javier were really hard workers and very nice guys. We plan on having this company do some interior painting on our 1924 Craftsman home later this summer. I would highly recommend this company if you are looking for quality work at a fair price.

I met with Kyle Kiele and scheduled the work to be done. Kyle was in touch with me on a weekly basis before work on the project started and then on a daily basis once the project was started. The different work crews were all friendly, did quality work and always cleaned up behind themselves. I would recommend cutting edge to any one that I know.

after complaining that the color they choose for my home was not what I asked for, they repainted the house with my color choice, at no further cost to me. I am very happy now with the color. The communication was top notch and they kept me in the loop.

I received a call within 3 min. of requesting companies that did skylights. We setup an appointment for the next evening Friday. The estimator Kyle Kiele showed on time and was very knowledgeable and specific in understanding exactly what my wants and needs were. He estimated what was a fare price to me. He ordered the large skylight (8'x6') the following Tue. and kept me informed on its status. The skylight was built on time and we scheduled the installation the next day. The woke crew showed on time and the work was completed in 2 hrs. That amazed me . Well planned out. We have had 3 rain storms since and no leaks, making me very happy. Super job Cutting Edge!

The painting crew was great. Very friendly and professional. They wanted to make sure I was satisfied with their work. The job was interrupted by bad weather and they let me know when they would return. I appreciated the communication. An example of their attention to detail was they placed a tarp on the driveway and then parked their van on it to prevent drips and stains. Overall the quality of their work was top notch.

Joe, was extremely attentive to our needs and promptly answered every question we had. The painting and prep crew, Miguel, Leo and Javier did an excellent job and was patient with us during the job , as we asked questions.
