From their first visit to review the proposed work to their final sign-off after the project was completed, Cutting Edge acted professional and had excellent communication during the whole process. Their crew did an amazing job on our shingle siding replacement and kept the site clean after every day of work.

Materials and workmanship were high quality and they stand by their work. Communication and follow up is top notch.

Cutting Edge is by far the best roofing company I have dealt with. I run a property management company in the area so we have properties all over Clark County. A few years ago I had them do one of our rental properties and had a great experience from beginning to end. So this time I hired them for my own personal home I had just purchased. It had an old Cedar roof that was leaking badly. The recommendations they gave for products made a hue difference for the appearance of the house as well as addressing the concerns of leaks. The communication by not only our project manager but also the crews while on site was a breath of fresh air. The roof looks amazing and I will definitely be hiring them again in the future. The attention to detail and quality of work and communication is what sets them apart from other contractors I have used in the past.

They also replaced gutters, two windows, fascia boards and sophets, and painted. They stand by their work and gave a warranty on it. They worked with me even on some difficult parts of the project.

Cutting Edge's communication was extraordinary. My group is a small HOA and none of us have the time to manage a big job such as our siding project. Cutting Edge managed structural repair, roofing repair, dry rot repair, siding installation, painting and new gutters to our group. We all had questions and opinions. Cutting Edge was exemplary in both the quality of work and customer service. The project was lengthy and complicated and we have all been happy with the work Cutting Edge did on our building.

I had a dishwasher leak and it ruined my kitchen floors! Someone recommended Cutting Edge to me and bot, I am glad they did! These guys came in and were amazing to work with! They were professional from start to finish and they helped me find my dream flooring and were able to get my kitchen back to normal in no time! They showed up in time and finished ahead of schedule! I finally got around to this review from work done two years ago. All siding contractors seemed to be expensive for what I needed. 400 square feet on one 2-story wall. The old LP siding was removed and 3 windows were lifted out. The old insulation was removed. The framing was inspected and a couple of short 2x4s were water damaged. New roll insulation was installed. I had to go out and properly install the insulation on what I could reach from the ground as the workers were pushing the edges of the insulation way down below the faces of the 2x4 framing. This cuts down on the R rating significantly. I was really surprised that people who do this kind of work do not know the proper way to install insulation given the premium price I paid for. I tried to explain but none of the 5 workers seemed to speak understandable English. Older folks who are a bit hard of hearing are likely a large percentage of customers. I will never hire another company that uses a crew that I cannot communicate with. All the work was accomplished on one long summer day. Every scrap of waste was removed. All joints that required caulking were caulked adequately. Windows were cased. I see a lot of 5-star reviews, and maybe the crew has improved significantly over the last two years to rate that so take my review with a grain of salt.

I remember always seeing the Cutting Edge Contracting ads in TheHomeMag. Their magazine & vehicle branding is hard to missâ ¦which invokes words like unique, bold, proud, confident, and experienced. So when the time came to remodel our home this year, we reached out to Cutting Edge. We soon learned that they were all those words and MUCH more. Our 1998 Washougal home was showing its age, and from Decâ 2020 to May 2021, Cutting Edge breathed incredible new life into it. Itâ s not a stretch to say they created a total transformation. They were involved in complete siding & plank replacement, stone/masonry throughout the home, roof replacement, and exterior paint. Hereâ s what we love about Cutting Edge: 1) They know their stuff. They are total professionals with quality materials, quality workers, and quality craftsmanship. This is super important and it should go without saying, but for us this was our only home and it was important for us to invite a company to work on it that would take great care of it. 2) They know their customers. This is the biggest project weâ ve ever undertaken. There were so many moving parts to it, so many timelines, and SO many people involvedâ ¦we were so grateful that we were made to feel important throughout the entire process. They were patient with every single question, comment or thought that we had, and they asked plenty of their own and shared their expert opinion in order to make sure what we wanted came to life. They explained their processes so you know the â whyâ behind what they do. They donâ t just care about something looking right cosmetically, it also has to be right functionally and for the long haul. In a time when a pandemic led to more families choosing to stay put and put renovate, which in turn leads to multiple projects going at the same time, or material shortages, we always felt like we mattered and werenâ t forgotten. Phone calls and text messages were always promptly returned. We didnâ t have to wait hours or days, and that brought so much peace of mind. 3) They are just good people. Period. And we can say this confidently because Cutting Edge only had their hands on the exterior of the home. We had a whole set of other people doing the interior, and sometimes you get an occasional worker that doesnâ t seem to care, or makes mistakes, or isnâ t passionate about what they do. Not the case with Cutting Edge. Every single human being on their crew brought their best every single day. That was so refreshing to us. We are tremendously grateful for Cutting Edge!!

Easy to work with & up front with any changes! Did an excellent job along with completing the project quickly! Foreman on site frequently to check on things & always available for any questions or concerns.

Although we originally expected the work to be four to six weeks out, they had an availability open up and offered it to me quick enough that the entire thing was done much sooner. The quality of the work looks great, and the price was competitive with others I'd gotten at the same time, so we're pretty happy with the overall experience.

They demo and rebuilt my 3 tier deck approx. over 2000 s.f. and did an amazing job, they were the only one I could find to tackle a job of this size...Great job guy's and thank you Brandon for great customer service as well.

They not only removed my old deck, they had to replace the cantilevered floor joists that extended into the garage ceiling. This involved removing the ceiling sheetrock in the garage for the joist installation and then replace it afterwards. They recommended and installed a membrane material between the floor boards and joists to minimize any moisture/rot problems in the future. The deck job included new Iron railings for the replaced deck and we also requested them for our rear deck. In addition to the decking, they power washed and painted the house and tool shed and replaced the gutters on the house. It's all complete, it all looks great and came together nicely. They did a great job!!

They listened to us as we explained what we wanted, gave suggestions as to design and ways to cut overall costs. Had an architect design final plan and then sat down with us and went over every detail of the project. along the way we wanted some additional things changed and an additional item to add and they accommodated those requests. They also cleaned up every day and checked back with us if we were happy at every stage of the construction. The workers were courteous and pleasant at all times. Finally, we are enjoying our deck immensely and the additional work they did.

Our roof with a 25 yr warranty failed after 16 yrs. I have worked in construction, both residential and industrial in my 45+ year career. Cutting Edge Contracting completely satisfies my criteria for a quality contractor. I highly recommend this firm for your roofing needs. I judge contractors by several criteria. Off the top of my head... 1) Are they clear on the scope, timing, and details of their bid? 2) Do the crews show up on time and work until a reasonable quitting time? 3) How do the crews protect the job site from construction damage? Do they clean the job site before securing for the day? 4) Do they follow OSHA regulations? 5) Do they install to the quality standards described in their proposal? 6) When the crews complete the project, do they clean the job site in detail? 7) Does the Project Manager communicate daily, with details of what will be completed that day? 8) Does the Contractor commit and deliver on schedule that was proposed? The list could go on much further. Cutting Edge Contracting completely satisfied these criteria and many more.
