Cutting Edge Contracting is the only company's have found that truly cares about homes. They only want a good job for homeowners and really strive to doing the best. They say no one is perfect but this group is pretty close to it. They were the only contractors who knew how to solve my foundation on my home and not just put a bandaid on it. Our home has a very unique, low-pitched roof that limited the number of total options we had to replace it. Josh and his team were the only company who responded to our requests and cared enough to come out to our house to see it in person and assess the active leaks in our kitchen. It was very clear to us from the moment we met their team that they knew what they were doing and prided themselves on working hard and building trust with every single client they work with in the area. Hearing success stories from others in the area, and their ability to work on both residential and commercial environments ensured that, if we went with Cutting Edge, we were going to get the best possible product that they would stand behind for many years to come. There were a couple of small inconveniences worth mentioning for full transparency. First, there was a few communication gaps during the roof installation process that they acknowledged right away could be improved. My spouse and I weren't sure if they were completely done with the project, or only most of the way there, on a few occasions. Also, unbeknownst to all of us (ourselves and Cutting Edge), the unique nature of our roof and interior ceiling led to some debris sprinkling through several areas. They were quick to apologize to us for these inconveniences, and offered to do anything in their power to make it right and ensure we still had their trust going forward, which we very much appreciated! All in all - they are a stand-up group of people we will highly recommend to our friends and neighbors!

I can't thank them enough for all the work they have done on my home. After my husband passed away about four months ago, I didn't know if I was going to be able to handle the stress of getting this project completed, it's a serious struggle. I am not able to do as much as I used to 40 years ago. Brandon and his team did such a wonderful job. We selected Cutting Edge Contracting to replace all the old aluminum windows in our house in Ridgefield. We received 4 different bids. One was less, one was more, and one didn't provide the detail needed to assess the bids. What distinguished Cutting Edge was their professionalism and the extra service - our window trim was mediocre at best and they were the only contractor to bid on replacing both interior and exterior trim. The workers were great. Hard working. Courteous. Friendly but business-like. The install was top-notch - no issues. Some of our old cedar siding had to be replaced on two bump outs. Cutting Edge replaced it with Hardie Plank and it looks just like the cedar it replaced. They used James' Hardie's recommended caulk that is very elastic - not the hard, brittle caulk you so often see. They nailed the Hardie Plank with finish nails to help prevent cracking (a big plus - we paint houses and we are always seeing cracked Hardie siding due to poor nailing). They also wrapped the exposed areas prior to replacing the old cedar. Their attention to detail was very much appreciated. During installation we found some other siding boards that had lost contact with the trim board, leaving almost an inch gap. Cutting Edge re-shimmed those boards, re-installed new trim and re-caulked the old cedar to the new trim and it looks better than before. Water, bug, bird and rodent tight! They also explained everything they did and why they did it that way. Very open to questions. They didn't take short cuts. The walk through was thorough. We asked for some adjustment on the window trim and they happily did it. The workers are to be commended for working so hard during a very rainy week. It rained almost constantly. But we didn't get water in the house and they worked very hard. I would not hesitate to use Cutting Edge Contracting again and I recommend them without reservation.

I have a smaller roof and was told their "crew" would be done in a day. They sent one man, who had to start late , since they had him on another assignment first. He used my personal air compressor, since his wouldn't work. Being by himself it took 3 days instead. He did good work, but the companies idea for a "crew" and safety of it's worker were a concern to me.

I hired Cutting Edge Contracting to install framing and structural support for an attic flooring project. They delivered as planned and on schedule, including an additional work order to install the flooring for an extra day of labor (they fit it in to the original time schedule). I am very happy with their work and feel I received a great value for their contracted price. I would highly recommend them and will go back to them for additional business when I have further contracting needs. They also caught my error where I overpaid them on project completion. They called me to refund my over-payment. Integrity like this is very admirable in contracting companies!

After going through the gauntlet of obtaining seven bids for my project, I decided to hire Cutting Edge Contracting. That being said, I could not be more pleased with my decision. Cutting Edge Contracting is the most talented, professional and knowledgable company I have even had the pleasure of working with. I am elated to hear that they offer a vast scope of services outside of waterproofing my home. I will be hiring them in the future for additional projects and HIGHLY recommend this company. Hire this company, you will get the job done right!

Hurry, Hurry, Hurry! Very talented group, cut some corners, took some risks. Communication was non-existent, or let us just say lacking. If you get an itemized list of expectations and some explanation of what to expect and when, you should be fine.

They showed up on time, were pleasant and hardworking!

This is a new company comprised of very experienced people. They have their own crews doing the work. Workers worked hard while here for the most part and new exactly what they were doing. The bend over backwards to provide good customer service. They still have some kinks in their communications to work out. Pricing was not cheek, but neither was the materials nor the install. If you are looking for a top quality job, these are the people to talk to. Communications was somewhat difficult with the crews while they were installing because I do not speak Spanish. Also, there was a little misunderstanding at the start over what level of shingles were being delivered due to a slight mistake on the paperwork. They did deliver the right stuff the first time and with a little research that I did and a few phone calls to the manufacture and a couple of other places in the area I discovered that the prices was upper middle range, the materials were top notch (just like they said) and it was exactly the level I wanted. So harm, no fowl. I recommend them to you highly. Do some research on materials available, what the price range is that companies are charging and check out their business practices. I don't think you will find anyone better.

After working with a different company and not having any luck there. Cutting Edge Contracting repaired my roof, fixed another area and they warranty their work. Highly recommend. Thanks! LizT

I was pleased with the project. They told me exactly what I was getting and why.

I got a shingled roof rather than a flat roof because rot was found all over under my old rood and it had to be repaired before the roofing. I am very happy to have my new roof put on by a company that gave me good personal attention and did such an efficient job, with a great warranty. They crew and contractors were very pleasant and personable.

They worked very quickly after our meeting to go ahead with the project. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The work was done in a very timely manner.

The crew was very polite and hard working. Cleaned up well after the roofing job. I would recommend this company with some reservations.
