Cascade Fence and Deck

Every part of my experience with Cascade Fence and Deck was A+. Office contacts, planning with estimators and dealing with the install crew was problem free.

Long story - worth the read!! Cascade Fence & Deck constructed a gorgeous cedar fence for us in 2016 that didn’t hold up and they admit now, was an unfavorable and faulty design that they ceased selling shortly after ours was put up. They did come out to work on the fence (at no charge) in 2018 and shore it up but unfortunately that failed to produce lasting results. By 2022 we were tired of dealing with an unsteady fence and boards needing to be reattached all the time. After contacting the owner of Cascade Fence in early May, two managers, Leif and Louis came out to assess the problems. During their end-of-May visit, they explained how that fence design came to be. A contractor had approached Cascade, soliciting them to build fences of HIS design for a neighborhood development of his own. Once the fences had gone up there was immediate demand for that “look.” But it didn’t take long for Cascade to see that it wasn’t a viable fence and for them to discontinue selling that design. Unfortunately we were caught in that small window of time during which it was being sold. Leif and Louis listened to our concerns, were apologetic, and left with a promise to be in touch. They then reached out with a solution for us in less than two weeks from their initial visit. Cascade was going to stand behind their project and would build a new fence for us with all new wood, at no additional cost to us, with a lifetime workmanship warranty! We shook hands and arranged for the work to be done in January when our landscape would be mostly dormant. This was important to us due to our numerous prized plantings. On 1/16/23 Cody and Lukas came out to dismantle the old fence and construct the replacement. Two days later we had a new beautifully built cedar fence. It is clear by watching this construction process that this is a very solidly built fence that is here to stay. We have no doubts. Cody and Lukas also took great care with our landscape. Great care. Over the years we have experienced both ends of the “taking care of the landscape” spectrum. At the one end, we’ve hired contractors who’ve stomped on plants and ripped branches off precious shrubs and trees they deemed were unimportant and in their way. Cody and Lukas are nearly at the opposite end of that spectrum. They dismantled the fence without causing undue harm to our plants and Cody built the fence with such skill and attention to detail that no plants were harmed in the process. We cannot say enough about Cascade Fence & Deck and all the employees there that we have come into contact with. This is a superb firm that is ethical, honest, and hires staff with high standards of integrity. HIRE THEM ! ! !

We had a big project with installation of both front and back yard decks and fences. Everyone that worked with us was professional, easy to talk to, knew what they were doing--yet often double-checked with me or my wife just to make sure each detail was what we wanted. They've also made a lot of suggestions, some of which we loved and ended up being part of the end product. We couldn't be happier with our new decks and fences! It looks even better than we could have imagined! If we had any future projects in their scope, we'll be happy to give Cascade a call again. This review is long overdue and I have to say both of my experiences with Cascade Fence and Deck have been incredible. This summer I needed to close a gap in my deck railing after removing an exterior fireplace. I called around to a few places and the estimates were significantly more than I wanted to pay. When I contacted Cascade, I spoke with Carrie who was so friendly, understanding, and said thought she could help with my budget. She put me in touch with Sven who sold me all of the parts and walked me through doing it myself. I couldn’t believe the excellent customer service. When it was time to have a hand rail installed on an exterior staircase, I knew I was going to call Cascade first. The whole team who worked on our project was great. Trevor did the estimate and was friendly, prompt, and easy to communicate with. The same goes for Jason, our Project Manager. He was easy to contact and always picked up the phone when I called. The team asked if I was open to a sub-contractor doing the job to get it done as soon as possible. They said many of the sub-contractors were prior employees of Cascade Fence and Deck. I agreed and Ilia and Paul were great! They showed up on time and finished by the early afternoon and cleaned up after themselves. I would have never known they were subcontractors. Our next project will likely be a fence and gate and I will definitely be calling Cascade first.

Cascade Fence & Deck removed our old deck and replaced it with a beautiful new deck. The whole process was super smooth from the design to construction, and the deck amazing. We went back and forth during the design process, as we changed our minds, and landed on a Deckorators deck with cable railing, cocktail rail, and posts to hang string lights. When it came time for construction, the whole team did an amazing job. Dwayne and Elon had the old deck demoed in about a day. Ian and Lukas kept building even when the weather got cold and rainy. AJ made sure the site stayed clean- I saw him a couple times walking the yard with a magnet on a string picking up stray screws. And Kyle made sure we knew everything that was happening every step of the way, and the why behind the processes. I am looking forward to spending time on the deck for years to come.

We had a wonderful experience working with Cascade Fence and Decking. Omar was our original contact providing us with excellent recommendations on design and details about the build out. Our construction crew included Levi, Tavis and Avin. Polite, accommodating, hard working and always willing to go a step beyond in making sure we got the deck that we wanted. We could not be happier. The entire team had stellar communication skills and follow through. We chose the Deckorators composite decking as it is supposedly less slippery than Trex. To no surprise however, it did ice up immediately after installation following a rain and freezing night time temps. I guess that is to be expected with any product and I am really glad we decided to add a handrail to our stairs! Highly recommend this crew.

We knew from our first appointment to get a quote that this was the company for us. Our representative was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and had the latest technology to show us all our options on the spot. And it was the same when the crew showed up to install the fence. The end result was exactly what we wanted, and we are still very happy with our decision six years later. We even told them about our desire to replace the front porch metal railing, and they made that happen too! The two times we reached out to them over the years regarding the fence and gate lock, they treated us as VIP's. I wish I had another yard for them to fence, but since we don't, I am leaving this review so someone else can benefit from this excellent company.

Excellent experience with Cascade Fence and Deck. This was a six figure plus investment. We took our time looking for a company we could trust and we are so grateful we picked Cascade. Mike handled the design, Cory the project manager and Ross with his team made it happen. Ross was the lead for the entire project, great communication, on time, professional and attention to detail. Cascade fence and deck was competitive and also performed high quality work and stellar customer service. Trevor was our initial contact and was very friendly and had outstanding customer service from the initial visit to the plans for our project and the estimate. Kyle and AJ completed the install and not only completed the job as expected, but also went above and beyond in the little details including clean up after the project. Overall we are extremely satisfied with our project and blown away by the level of service we were provided! We definitely recommend cascade fence and deck!

Cascade built us a beautiful deck to our specifications in 3 1/2 days. They were easy to work with and addressed every one of our concerns throughout the process of estimate, timeline, and construction. We wanted some details that they hadn't done previously, and they thought outside of the box to make everything perfect.

Really great people to work with, from start to finish. They helped me take my vision of a great little backyard covered deck from fantasy to reality. The process was fun and stress free, and communication prompt. They had to schedule a few months out for installation, but it was worth the wait for the quality of work. I would not hesitate to use them again for future projects.

We had a patio cover added to our house and Cascade Fence and Deck did a great job. The team of Duane, Avin, Lucas and lead by Kyle were outstanding! They were extremely polite, conscientious and had a great work ethic. They were here every morning by the time they said, always made sure they cleaned everything up before leaving every night and let us know when they were leaving and what to expect for the next day. They were ALWAYS working to get the project done. They are a great group of young men. We would recommend Cascade and love our cover!!

This is an excellent company to do business with. My 20x16 deck was done when I was told it would be complete. Kyle, David, Dwyane, and Bush we're all extremely friendly and easy to work with. They made working other trades in for hot tub wiring and placement a breeze. We are extremely happy with are new deck it turned out exactly how we in-visioned it and will enjoy it for years to come. Great experience from start to finish. Omar helped us put together a great design (their visualization tool is amazing). Cody W was a great Project Manager and did a nice job of keeping us informed through the process. Ross and Eion were wonderful installers. On time, hard workers through various types of weather, left the worksite clean every day. While there were a couple hiccups along the way, everything was handled and we're happy with the end result. Cascade recently put in a patio cover and added decking over an existing cement pad in my backyard. The entire process was positive. My initial online inquiry to get an estimate was quickly responded to and I was given a complete account of what to expect. Omar came out to meet me and evaluate my space. I basically already knew what I wanted but he clarified my choice by providing additional information about my options. He created a very clear proposal with costs broken down as well as images of how the project would look in the end. He was quick to respond to my questions. Warner and Dillon did the install and they were a pleasure to work with. They communicated well with me, were very professional, and the work is even better than I expected. I would not hesitate to use Cascade Fence and Deck for future projects.

We had a great experience with Cascade. They were great to work with from the first site visit, to drawings and quotes, and Jason and Blake were awesome onsite and built us a beautiful deck. Super happy with the end result. Cascade won't be the cheapest option, but you get what you pay for - and in this case it was a giant back deck with top of the line materials and craftsmanship that will last for years to come.

We were referred to Cascade Fence and Deck and I'm so glad we were! Mike came to our home to see what all CFD could do for us and set us up with plans. Wayne made the order of products needed as well as coordinated a project start date. We had a very large existing back patio structure that included two sheds. Kory, Alvin, and Carlos did a great job tackling that HUGE demo project before installing a new back patio cover. There was a small issue which was addressed immediately and solutions given. Communication was clear throughout the project which was super helpful. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Cascade Fence & Deck was amazing from start to finish. Omar came out and did an amazing 3D redeeding of what we wanted and gave an estimate in a timely manner. He answered all our questions and got back to us on stuff he needed to look into. Josh came out and reviewed it before the crew got started and modified a few things. Kory lead the team that did the demolition and instilation of the new deck. He and his crew are very professional and clean! He kept us informed of the process and was kind to all the questions and concerns we had during the process. We want to use them again!

I would highly recommend the team from Cascade Fence and Deck! We used their services to build a new deck around our swim spa. The estimating process with Mike Ronfeld, the Project Estimator was through and efficient— he followed up every time and was great about answering questions and dialing our project in to meet our budget. Mike worked diligently to design the deck to be exactly what we wanted, thru emails and design plans; he tweeked it until it was exactly right and never lost patience with our numerous emails with changes. Josh Frey, the Project Manager came on site before the start of the project and made some great suggestions as well. Kory Alexander, the Project Foreman and his crew, Logan and Chad did an excellent job of creating the deck according to plan. They were on time, efficient, extremely detailed and focused on delivering what we planned. They were conscientious, polite, professional and respectful of our property, cleaning up each day and treating us and our home with respect and care. They did quality work and checked in with us as the project progressed to ensure that it was all coming together as we had envisioned. They are an outstanding team and a pleasure to work with. We would definitely use them again for other projects.

This company is by far the BEST company I have ever worked with! From day one, their customer service was beyond responsive and helpful! They sent a personalized video about my project explaining different options and the process. Then when it came time for my vinyl fence project, the crews that were on my project (Ross, Ian, and Richard) were so wonderful. Each crew member was respectful of my yard, property, and kept an insanely clean work space. They constantly kept me in the loop on my project each day and consulted with me if they had questions. I felt comfortable and confident with their skills and professional experience which I knew I could trust them. I would absolutely recommend this company for anyone looking for their fence to be re-done.

Cascade Fence & Deck is top notch...their product is grade A and their customer service is outstanding...when sooooo few companies can pull this off these days. Believe me, I am not OVER glorifying the company. Like all big projects, a kink can present itself somewhere in the chain (quality, fulfillment, labor, installation, delivery....so many steps involved before the project is complete). So yes, we had kinks. BUT Cascade Fence & Deck is such a solidly run company that the evidence of this is displayed at every step of the process and by every person that you interact with….no matter their title or place in the company food chain. Everyone I interacted with genuinely demonstrated love for their job and a genuine commitment to making things BEAT my expectations. This is a sign of solid leadership, great hiring practices, and legitimately amazing humans working at Cascade! I used to work in business ops, so I distinctly understand the challenges. I can NOT remember the last time I was truly impressed by the craftsmanship, product quality, customer service, and human interaction at the same company! (I got used to thinking that it is always a trade off…..some companies have good product, but sh*t service….and vice versa…). As for the work they did on my house, I got an amazing patio cover that lets the light in and keeps the rain out---could NOT be happier! Wayne & Jonathan R & Omar & Lia & AJ--THANK YOU!

Cascade Fence & Deck didn't provide the least or the most expensive estimate for the work. They did provide the most comprehensive projection of the completed project as well as taking into account specific city ordnances that other companies failed to mention. The work done by Mike Ronfield prior to the project start was really great! He listened to what I wanted to have done, took measurements and brought the project to life through electronic media and photos of prior projects. The installation team, Tyler and Ezekiel, were prompt in arriving at my home and did an amazing job with the concrete and the fence. They communicated timing and current status throughout the project, which was super helpful. My new fence looks great! I am very pleased with the work that Tyler and Ezekiel did completing the project and would highly recommend them, Mike Ronfield and Cascade Deck & Fence.
