Cascade Fence and Deck

The work went well, although was somewhat rushed as they scheduled it on two afternoons including a Friday which made the last parts somewhat rushed. I did ask for the job to be done quickly and at the end of the week, but I would have preferred that they come in the morning rather than after 1:00 on Friday and race to get done before the weekend. The work was as specified, but there was some mess left in my yard at the end. The actual guys doing the work were very nice and the fencing looks good and is installed as promised, and the estimate was accurate. They do a good job of giving you plans, etc. beforehand and have good guarantee. Overall Cascade did a good job and I would both recommend them and use them again in the future.

I truly disliked working with this company, from start to finish. They were professional and seemed concerned about the cusomter service they provided.....but, I think the actual result was a negative experience for me. First, I called asking to have someone come out and provide an estimate. They were the only company that took almost 3 weeks to come out. Really? 3 weeks to simply look at the job and provide an estimate? The only explanation I got was from the person who came out. He said he's limited to two new business calls per day and it pushes the schedule out. They called the day before the appointment and I received a text/message the day to let me know they were coming. Once on site, the person asked a lot of questions and did a good job to understand what I was looking for. He covered the costs and some options verbally. This seemed to be going well. Then he spent 30 minutes typing it into his computer, asking more questions (some repeats) and complaining how hard it was to enter this into the application he used. This seemed to go on forever and I began to wonder why this needed to happen with me there. After he completed that, he left and immediately sent the estimate to my email address. Later, when comparing estimates with my other bids I noticed that Cascade prices were odd. The longer fence run I share with a neighbor was actually cheaper than my shorter fence run I solely own. The others had quoted it more as you'd expect. The longer fence was higher than the shorter one. When I asked for clarification, the estimator said there was a fixed setup charge of $225 for any project and he'd tacked that one into the shorter fence. Even that wasn't enough to explain the discrepancy and I got another answer that made no sense. He provided detailed amounts that did not total to the original quote, even accounting for sales tax differences. I finally gave up trying to understand their quote. The fixed setup charge was a surprise (not disclosed until I asked about the costs) and I did not think working with a company such as this would work for me. What I find interesting is that they are SO concerned about customer service but fail to deliver. The long delay to send an estimator, the overly long time bulding the bid with the customer, not disclosing charges, etc.

I was very impressed with this company. I was given an initial price estimate over the phone and Darran came out a few weeks later to do an in-depth estimate. Darran was very professional and not pushy at all. It took us a few weeks to get back to him, but when we did the fence install was scheduled for about 2 weeks out. The install crew, led by Leif, was pretty amazing. They were all young men, but very professional. It was clear that they cared for their workmanship. The fence was installed much quicker than I expected. We were very happy with the fence and this company and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

We called Cascade Fence & Deck to come out and provide a bid to replace our fence. Kurt Johansson meet with us on July 1st and we informed him that we were in the process of acquiring bids, and that we were not going to make a decision until we had several bids. We informed him that our time frame was not until the end of the year, and he stated that would not be a problem since they were busy the month of July. After measuring the yard, showed us photos of their work, and tried to get us to commit to them, which we replied that we were going to wait until we got all bids. He stated that he would provide us the written bid after the Fourth of July holiday and we stated that was acceptable since we were scheduling to meet with other companies. We got an e-mail from him after the holiday stating that they were booked for the rest of the year and could not provide us a bid. If that was the case, why did he not inform us this issue when we meet with him, and I understand that they are busy, but booked for the rest of the year is hard to believe?

From the estimate to the finished product, this company rocked it! Professional, courteous.. and most of all, super good quality fence installation. AND a life time warranty! These guys all believe in their company and provide a terrific service. Hire them!

I had a great experience with Cascade Fence & Deck. They were professional and quick with the quote/completion of the job. It was a pleasure to deal with everyone from the person on the phone to the staff that were out quoting and doing the job. I'm very pleased with the quality of the work and would not hesitate to use them again.

I got three bids and decided to go with Cascade for three reasons. Price was the best, Angies List reviews and the salesman Kurt who sold me on the quality I would be getting with his company. Before he left I had a portfolio of information and detailed bid of my project. The crew who showed up to do the job, Nate and his crew, were not only hardworking but professional in their appearance and communication of project. We were very impressed with the young men Cascade employs, one of the best we have worked with. Being in sales my husband has very high expectations from contractors we hire and we would hire Cascade for any future projects without hesitation.

It started with the estimate. Their estimator ( Darren) was on-time and took very detailed measurements of the scope of work from all angles. When their bid arrived it was extremely well detailed with all footages clearly itemized. They were by no means the lowest bidder. In fact, they were the highest by nearly $ 900.00 but their thoroughness, positive Angie's list ratings and availability made all the difference. They were the only company whose work schedule matched our availability. The scope of work took two complete days and we couldn't be happier with the performance. The team was courteous, respectful, on time and cleaned up afterwards. No problems at all. We feel we got what we paid for and more. Good work!

Everyone was professional, quick and did exactly what they said. They estimated the build time would be a few days and they were able to complete it in a day and a half. The quality of the workmanship is excellent.

Everyone that came here was very professional and thorough in all they did. When I called and made an appointment they were came right out to give me an estimate. If I had any questions they were answered promptly. The estimate was thorough and I was given diagrams and everything that day. When it came time to do they job. They were there when they said they would be there. They did exactly what they said they would do. When I noticed some things that were not done on the existing fence posts they did it on Thursday when came back to finish the job up. When they ran out of time and had to go to another job and were not finished another crew came to finish by putting the remaining slats in and they made sure I was satisfied with everything including lowering some parts to make sure my dog did not escape. They also took the time to take out the part of the wood post that stuck up out of the middle of the yard, they did it in a 4th of the time it would have taken me to dig it up myself. My thanks goes to Darran ,Nate, Leif and all the other men that helped put this all together. I was treated like a valued customer. I would recommend this company to anyone who asks. There customer service is amazing and it stands out above any other company I could have chosen.

From beginning to completion the project went just as planned. It all started with the phone call to the office to ask for someone to come out and provide and estimate. The estimator came within two weeks, provided a folder with the estimate and all the details. I compared prices with one other fence company and decided to go with Cascade. Once I accepted the bid the work was scheduled and completed within two weeks. Workers came on time, had the proper materials, and did the work professionally. A very positive experience all around.

Cascade Fence and Deck did a great job with my fence! Over the course of two days, the old fence was taken down and hauled away; new posts were dug; and the new fence was installed. It really makes the property look so much better. The crew even trimmed some of the overhanging bushes from a neighbor's yard that were encroaching on my yard (and fence). They took away all the brush that they cut. The whole area was cleaned up after the work was done. Each one of the crew was very polite and put up with my questions. I would hire them again!

Of the 5 vendors I contacted, Cascade was not the cheapest but neither were they the most expensive. When we got our original quote for the fence, Kurt (in Sales) was very courteous over the phone and set us up with a date and time to give us an estimate. Kurt was on time for his appointment and was helpful and polite. He understood that we would be getting several quotes from various vendors and that we would be making our decision within a few weeks of getting all of the quotes. We were provided a very nice packet with our quote and Kurt said he would be in contact within a few weeks to see if we had made a decision. After receiving all of the quotes, we liked what Cascade Fence and Deck offered and felt that we were getting the best deal for the type of fence we were buying. I contacted Kurt and arranged to make the deal. He seemed genuinely pleased to get our business and guided me through the payment process. Cascade required half down, half upon completion. The payment process online was easy and by the next morning, I received a call from the scheduling office setting up the installation for 5 days later. Cascade performed the installation on two separate days: Tuesday, they removed the old fence and set the metal poles, and Thursday, they installed the fence and gates. The crew was friendly and efficient and if I hadn't contacted them when they arrived, I might not have known that they were even there. When finished, one of the installers provided me with a sample board to experiment with different stains and paints. Cascade installed their "Silver Star" style fence with 2 gates. The fence posts are galvanized steel set in concrete, rails were fir, and the pickets were dog eared and unstained. The gates are steel frame with fir pickets. Cascade drilled into the driveway to set the posts for the vehicle gate. The hardware used appears to be of good quality. Overall, my experience with Cascade Fence and Deck was fantastic. This is my first time buying a fence, so there was a little sticker shock, but like I said, they weren't the most expensive, and I believe that the product they installed is superior to the other vendors we contacted. All around, the service provided was top notch and I will be using them again when we choose a front fence.

Fantastic! The area to work in was a little difficult, but they made some field adjustments and everything looks great! They were excellent about making sure I was getting what I wanted. Punctual, friendly, knowledgeable...what more could you ask? We WILL hire them for future projects.

The guys were prompt and left no messes for me to clean up.

When I did not hear anything back by Wednesday, 2/17, I called there office to see what was going on with my estimate. They said they would have estimator, Kurt Johansson, call me. No call back but on Thursday, 2/18, I received an email from him saying that they could not install the custom fence we had discussed. If I wanted to pick one of their standard fences, I should contact him. Bottom line, I don't get a fence I want but if I want to pay a couple of thousand for one of their fences, they would consider taking my money. If you want anything different, forget this company.

Prior to meeting with Kurt Johansson with Cascade Fence and Deck, I had meet with four other contractors regarding the damaged fence surrounding my back yard and was dissatisfied with each and every one of them for various reasons. I was relieved to meet Kurt who was friendly, personable, and professional. He provided me with a very thorough and accurate assessment of my property along with an estimate. The estimate itself was incredibly reasonable compared to the other companies with which I spoke. Needless to say, I was happy to give my business to Cascade. My project was started and completed on time. All of the folks who assisted in the construction of my fence were efficient, pleasant and trustworthy. When questions arose, everyone was very receptive. I found Kurt especially to be very skilled in customer service as my satisfaction remained his first priority. I am incredibly happy with the finished product and would definitely recommend this company to friends and family.

The were fast, agreed to any suggestions I had. Lowered the fence when I thought the young puppy might get his head caught under it. Did every thing I asked. Were very professional and efficient

Everyone who was scheduled to show up did so on time. On one occasion they were unable to make the appointment time, and I received a call from the office letting me know. The installation crew consisted of a team of very nice young men who were personable, courteous, and lovely to work with. I am quite impressed with the appearance of the black chain link fence. I needed it to secure the kennel area of my property, and I wasn't concerned that much about how it looked. It actually looks pretty classy, and I think it will improve the value of my property.

Cascade Fence and Deck was amazing! They came out on Friday morning to remove the deck railing and were done in 1 hour. They were on-time and very professional. When they came back to re-install the deck railing, they were again very professional and courteous. They were wonderful to work with. I would highly recommend them!

Happy with final result. Sturdy and attractive fence. The metal frame installed on the back side gates on the fence was not what I expected but for the most part they are functional.

Refinished deck and added steps all around the deck. Created lift up sections around the hot tub.

They were very professional from the start. Scheduled an appointment for an estimate and they were there when they said they would be. The actual work was scheduled and carried out very efficiently.And when the job was completed the cleanup was excellent. We have a beautiful cedar railing. We highly recommend Cascade Fence and Deck if you need a job well done.
