Thank you Mike Ronfeld for a good fence design to meet all my many needs. And thank you Cascade for your installation team. They were prompt, worked hard, skilled, and friendly. The fence is beautiful and so very functional. With the metal poles, 3 rails, all cedar wood, and special design, it should last for years -- just what I wanted and certainly the look my HOA approves. Bottomline: great choice!

We had Mike Ronfeld out to quote a fencing project in our backyard. Mike offered his suggestions and advised his thoughts on the project. We had a quote that afternoon with 3 different price tiers to choose from. Once the project was a go Mike stayed in contact to make sure everything was going as planned. The crew that arrived to do the work was professional and quick and the project was completed in just over a day and a half. I would gladly recommend Cascasde Fence to friends, neighbors, and Angie's List members for all your fencing needs.

We had Mike Ronfeld out to quote a fencing and gate project for our backyard. I found Mike to be both courteous and knowledgable. After I outlined my ideas for the project he offered some suggestions and we quickly had a quote with 3 different price points. I did my due diligence for this project and we had pending quotes from 3 other fencing contractors. I went with Cascade because they were the most professional and knowledgable. I also liked their practice of hiring and employing full time workers for the actual fence build. The crew that preformed the work did so quickly, professionally, and pain free.

The process for getting a quote was good and timely. The quote was for replacing a fence on one side of my house to match the quality and style of the fence on the other side of my house which was made of clear cedar boards. Their quotes are arranged in a Good, Better, Best style but not ala carte. When talking to the sale rep, my main goal was to have the fence look like the other fence which was agreed upon. I didn't notice that the "Silver" package had what is called Cedar board #2....didn't know what that meant. Cascade came out and put up the fence. I wasn't home during that time and came home to find really poor quality boards and visible nails on the outside facing boards of the gate/fence. The sales rep was not very responsive ( would email late at night) and then was trying to get me to pay to change out the boards from Cedar#2 for the Clear cedar which was agreed upon in the first place. I'm not an expert on board quality so having a number by cedar didn't help me understand board quality. I mentioned they should show samples or pictures of different board quality. Eventually, I stated that they have a Promise that if they don't exceed your expectations then you don't pay. I mentioned that I expect to pay for the work that we agreed upon. They did come out and replaced the entire fence and gate with clear boards and it looks amazing now. There was just a lot of miscommunication and I wish it went much smoother. The final work they did is great and they really should not sell packages that have really poor quality boards. If you do use their company, make sure to understand the board quality being used for your project.

Don Beeler came to our home to assess our project. We found him to be friendly, professional and sincere. No pressure. His presentation was thoughtful and thorough. He gave us several options; more than we had asked for, which was very helpful for us in making our decision. Plus, he was able to give us a printed, detailed bid on site. The crew for our job, Nate, Johnathan, Clay, Brendan, Darran and Josh were terrific. They arrived early and went right to work with the demolition of our old, broken-down fence. They also tore down and removed an old, rusty shed on the side of the house. They worked diligently and finished the project the same day. We’re talking approx.150 feet of fencing. The fence is GORGEOUS. We are very happy with the style of the fence we chose, the quality of the product and the craftsmanship. We went with the platinum package and it was worth every cent. We highly recommend Cascade to all our family, friends and neighbors.

We looked at at least 5-6 companies and obtained quotes. We finally decided to go with Cascade F&D, mainly due to pricing and communication with good follow up. Brian Kaski from Cascade Fence and Deck came and saw the old deck, listened to our needs, explained the options, showed photos of finished projects, and drew us a plan with details and cost the same day. They called us later in the week with the projected starting day. The installers were a crew of 3-4 young guys. They came on time, they informed us of what they were doing in the backyard each day. They were careful, mindful, and nice. They finished earlier than scheduled. They did a perfect job. The payment system online is excellent, and they were quick to send back a lien release when the payment was complete. We are very happy with the whole process. The pricing, quality of work, and timeliness were all outstanding. Customer service was also delightful, and efficient.

The crew at Cascade are the best !!! Nate, the lead foreman, and his crew of Josh, Clay, Trent, Jay and Justin built us a beautiful fence and replace an older fence. They were professional and very skilled workers. They knew what they were doing and did it in a timely manner. The new fences are beautiful. Everyone who visits us comments on how beautiful they are.. When the crew was finished they check with us to make the fences met our expectations. And of course they did. Leif Wirtanen and Brian also followed up to make sure we were satisfied. All in all a very professional organization !!!!! We could not have asked for a better group of people to work with. Highly recommended.

Called to get a quote for fence repair. Rotten post and rework entry way. The person who does the bids called me back and was unhelpful and condescending. Was only interested in doing complete fence job with steel posts. Basically told me they weren't interested in smaller jobs and to call someone else. Would suggest avoiding for anything other than complete fence install/replacement

I needed a new front yard fence to replace an old wooden one. After much research I made an appointment with Cascade Fence and Deck for a bid to remove and replace the existing eyesore. Darren Cass, who was professional, efficient, and friendly, showed up. We discussed the options and the work involved. He took measurements, and asked about small details. I also asked about a rotted post on a side yard fence that needed replaced, and he said for a small additional fee they could replace it while they were installing the posts. Then he gave me the bid for a 32" white vinyl picket fence, the timeline and dates for installation, and I asked to be put on the calendar. On the chosen day the crew, Jay, Luis, and Jeff (all very nice guys), showed up and in no time the old fence was history with no telltale pieces anywhere. Taking out the old posts was slower going. One in particular appeared to be set at the same time and in the same concrete as the sidewalk and entry walk. It took a while, and finally it was removed with no damage to either walkway. At the end of the afternoon I had a much more sturdy side fence and stand of new white posts. The following week the crew returned with the remainder of the fence. As they were installing the gate I noticed the points of the pickets were different than my order. A call confirmed that to be true, a special order was placed for the dog-eared points I requested, and I was informed they would install the tops of the pickets as soon as they arrived. There was not a hint of disgruntlement or impatience: it was obvious their aim was to make a satisfied and happy customer. The next week I received a call that the dog-eared points had arrived and they would install them the next day. They did, and my fence is exactly what I wanted. My gate closes automatically and it also has a keyed lock, which was unexpected. Working with Cascade Fence and Deck was easy, a pleasure, and the results in my front yard are beyond my expectations. All my interactions with them were satisfying and left me with a smile on my face. Darren and the crew (Jay, Luis, and Jeff) were experienced, professional, and friendly. My fence is beautiful, low maintenance, and makes the front of my house look and feel more secure. And my neighbors have all told me how much they like it, and that it makes their homes look better as well. I highly recommend Cascade Fence and Deck for their service and their product.

WHAT A GREAT DECISION IT WAS FOR US TO USE CASCADE FENCE. IT WAS A LITTLE MORE EXPENSIVE BUT THE QUALITY OF MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP WERE SUPERIOR! WE TALKED ABOUT IT AND FELT LIKE "ONCE AND DONE" WAS BEST OPTION FOR US AS OPPOSED TO REPLACING AGAIN IN 8-10 YEARS. THIS FENCE WILL LAST MANY, MANY YEARS AND IS STUNNING TO LOOK AT. GREAT OFFICE STAFF, HARD WORKING, PROFESSIONAL CREW AND GREAT COMMUNICATION. WILL RECOMMEND TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY WITH CONFIDENCE.

I called to get an estimate on a home we are purchasing. Owner stated that their new policy is not to give quotes until after owners take possession of the home, but no explanation as to why. When I gave her dates and reason for wanting bid prior to possession date (we want work done prior to moving in because we have dogs) I stated it sounds like that would not work with their policy. The only response was "No, sorry." The impression is that they were not interested in my business and no effort was made to see if any other dates would work or if they were even interested in coming out after we take possession. Very confusing and not customer friendly at all, despite the claims otherwise on their website and Angie's List reviews. Very disappointed as they have great reviews!

The only detail that was missed was that we wanted the post cement to be mounded above ground level. The team on the site did mound the post cement, but it was under the ground level. When I pointed this out, it was corrected and everything was fine. jp

This was the third estimate I had done for our fence and this estimator was by far the most prepared and professional. He really knew what he was doing and asked lots of detailed questions about exactly what I wanted. He was able to provide me with an estimate right away and we booked the job for right after we had our backyard landscaped. The workers were professional and worked very hard. The fence looks gorgeous. They hacked a stump down to the ground that was in the way of the fence even though it was not in the contract. They did hit a water line that the water company had failed to mark but they were able to repair it. They had to come back out a week or two later to fix some minor cosmetic things but assured me that payment was not expected until the work was done to my satisfaction.

These guys are very professional. The estimator/project manager was very nice and just the way they do business was very professional. They were able to come out within a couple of days of first calling them. Most fence contractors were more than a month out and were hard to schedule. Not Cascade! They were also the cheapest! The fence is amazing and we love it!

Went great- very happy! Professional, reliable, punctual. Plus, they were able to come out and do the job almost right away which was a huge bonus.

They were amazing. They were excellent communicators from the beginning bid to the daily work. At the end of each day the crew chief (Liam) walked through the work completed each day with me, asked if I had questions or if everything was how I wanted. They arrived every day on time. They worked ALL day, taking one break for lunch only. The final product was beautiful. I love my new deck! I will recommend this company to all my co-workers and friends!

During the entire project, Cascade Fence & Deck maintained good communication and attention to detail. It took some time to get on the company's calendar to get an estimate, an indicator that they are busy and in demand. Once the appointed day came, salesman Darran Cass came to my house to review the project. He took time to look at the job, showed me photographs of different fence styles, and provided cost estimates for four fence options so the neighboring owners and I could compare fence material and design choices and relative costs. Once we made a joint decision on fence style and materials, Darran returned with the contract to be signed. Within days, the three-person crew of Trent, Luis and Brendan arrived to do the installation. Darran stopped by to check on the project while the crew was working. The crew worked quickly and efficiently, completing the job in about four hours. They removed and took away the old fence material, cleaned up the job site, and raked and swept up all debris and restored the soil around the fence posts. They did an excellent job of tying the new fence to the existing vinyl gate on my property and the chain link fence on the neighboring property. This was necessary to block up spaces where small pets could escape from their respective yards. Darran returned about a week later to review the project with me and ensure that I was satisfied with the materials and workmanship. He provided me with a copy of Cascade Fence & Deck's 10 year workmanship warranty and a fact sheet on care and maintenance of the new fence. I was impressed with this high level of customer service.

Leif and his crew at Cascade Fence and Deck did an excellent job on the replacement of our second story deck. They showed up on time explained what they were going to do and were very professional. We are pleased with the quality of the work. We now have a fantastic view of Mt. St. Helen's. This deck will definitely add value to our home. We would definitely use them in the future.

Estimate was quick and detailed. Quote was amongst the highest of several I received. Work ran a half day more than expected. Was disappointed by some inattention to details and poor finish work. However, when I pointed this out, the crew promptly came out and completed the job to my satisfaction.

Cascade Fence and Decks is an example of a superbly run company. The appointment for a free estimate was courteously done on the phone. They confirmed the appointment by e-mail and attached the name and PICTURE of the person that was going to do the estimate!. The estimator, Darran Cass was very professional and was exactly on the time promised (to the minute!). We reviewed on site what needed to be done and he made very sound suggestions. He made an estimate on his computer and adjusted it based on my requests for additional fixes. He prepared a project agreement with a graphic design of the job to be done, which was going to be discussed with the crew. He printed on the spot (printer in the van) and gave me a folder with all the necessary information and contract. The 3 people crew (Trent, Brendan and Luis) where on time on the day promised with all the necessary equipment and material. Trent reviewed what they were going to do and give me an estimate of the time it will take. They worked very hard the entire day (a Monday). They left the post installed for the new side fence and explained they will come back on Wednesday to give time to the concrete to cure. They were on time (8 am) on Wednesday and told me it will take them 3 hours to finish the job. It actually took them 3 hours and 5 minutes!!! The gate was done on site and it was perfect! Trent asked to check with me what they have done. I gave Trent the final check with an smile! The job was perfect. He told me that Darran was going to come over to check the job and to give me the warranty. He did so today. I'm an engineer, a former executive with a Fortune 50 company and a volunteer doing free consulting business for small business for the past 14 years. I feel somewhat qualified to give an opinion about this company. Cascade Fence and Decks is an example of excellent management, very good people, quality service and product, concern for the customer and pride for what they do and are. In few words a role model for other companies to imitate.

Our fence had warped due to some landscaping activity happening behind us. Cascade Fence & Deck came out and assessed the situation. Then they came back and fixed it. It was done so quickly and efficiently you can't see where the dirt was disturbed! They dug the posts deeper and secured our fencing. We also had them add a fence gate on the other side of our home. They talked over the pluses and minuses of which way the door swings and showed us how the lock worked and then got busy. This was also done quickly and efficiently.

Great experience from start to finish. I appreciated Kurt's time and expertise to design a fence that would coordinate with the neighbors and also allow me to have what I wanted for my yard. With respect to landscaping and trees, he showed me that I actually needed less fencing than expected. Much appreciated! He also worked with me to have a dog safe fence for a Great Pyrenees which is not an easy task but was accomplished! So much thanks to Nate, Clay, and Josh who constructed the fence and I so appreciated their extra effort to work with old fencing and a rocky slope for the new fence. Beautiful results and the dog is safe!

Every aspect of our experience from the initial consultation and estimate to the finished project was handled great. The estimator helped us work out the layout we wanted and gave us a clear explanation of the schedule and the work to be done. The crew showed up on time and completed the work on schedule.In addition to the main job, they also completed two side task on some existing gates. Everyone we interacted with from every part of the organization showed courtesy, professionalism, and attention to detail. It's rare that a company excels at price, quality, and schedule, but this one does, and we're very glad to have found them.
