He had a backlog, so the job was tentatively scheduled for the end of August. They actually started early. The work was completed very quickly (mostly on the hottest day of the year) and in a professional manner. Everything was cleaned up afterward, and we are very pleased with the quality of the job. I would not hesitate to recommend NCC - in fact I already have.
Description of Work: Painted the upper half of the exterior, including soffits and fascia. The job included pressure washing, hand and power sanding, spot repair/replacement of part of the fascia boards, sprayed & back-brushed oil-base primer and two coats of Sherwin Williams Super exterior paint. Emrush handled the quotation himself. I wanted the upper parts of the house painted, and planned to paint the lower part myself. The old finish had been badly neglected and was infested with mildew. I had talked to other contractors who were either not willing to do "half of the job" or weren't sure they could handle the repair work. Of the two bids I received, his was the most complete and I was convinced that he was thoroughly professional

We found Northwest Complete Contracting on Angie's list after contacting a few other companies. We were very impressed by the quick response and professionalism of Emrush Halili the Estimator. He came out and walked around our home and wrote up a detailed estimate of the work that was to be provided. If we had any questions via email he always responded. The quality of the work performed was exceptional. We were very pleased with all of the people who came to our house. Everyone seemed to take pride in their work and were pleased when we were so happy with the results. Their first priority was customer satisfaction and this seems to be harder to find these days. Our neighbors were impressed with the work done and we received many compliments. While the work was being performed, neighbors also asked for estimates from Northwest Complete Contracting. We would use them again without any hesitation.

Very well. Emrush, Byron and his crew were conscientious and diligent, working from sun up to sun down every day. The bid was reasonable and I felt I got good value for the money spent. This firm is busy (no doubt, largely due to their good reviews on this site). They were a bit hurried to finish my project and move onto the next one - but, again, I was quite satisfied with the finished project. Many neighbors and friends have asked for the referral - which I have gladly provided. When my next house requires some paint, I'll be on the phone to Emrush to take care of things for me.

The living room, entry way and dining room are a "cathedral" ceiling so much taller than an average room. They arrived on time, taped and prepped everything and did an excellent job painting over the previously painted "popcorn" texture. Clean up was excellent. Very professional in every category.

The job went great. We looked at this company and two others with high ratings on Angie's list, and this company had the best bid by about $2000. Emrush was great to work with - very genuinely friendly. The job was estimated to take 3 days to complete, but they completed it in just 2 days. It's been 3 years now, and everything looks great. We had our windows replaced about a year later, which meant that we had new window frames that needed to be painted, and we used Northwest Complete Contracting again.

I decided to go with Northwest Complete Contracting based on their bid, the glowing references Emrush Halili provided, and the recommendations from Angie's list. I was extremely pleased by their interior painting of our two bedrooms, bath and hallway. The crew was diligent, courteous, and professional. Emrush was definitely hands on and intent on providing a superior experience. I would highly recommend them and plan on using them again for my painting needs.

NW Complete Contracting provided me with a quote to paint the upper portion of my home that included, pressure washing, filling cracks, sanding imperfections, priming necessary areas and application of two coats of paint. Their representative, Emrush, was very polite, well dressed and professional. I selected them for the job because their price was over $500 less than the other bid I received. They were to start on a Monday, but the weekend before I decided to change the scope of the project and include some shingled areas of the house. Emrush was very accommodating and he even came to our home on the Saturday night prior so that I could approve the additional quote so that they could begin the entire job on the Monday. Of all of the home service providers I have had to my home in the decade we have lived here, their crew was by far the most pleasant to have around. The lead foreman and all of the painting crew spoke english and were very communicative of everything they were doing and were just genuinely nice people. They finished the job quickly and did a great job. After they were finished I noticed that the edge of the window casings were painted the same color as the house instead of the white color of the trim. I guess this is an industry standard, but it wasn't what I preferred, so they happily changed it with no questions asked. I was very happy with all of my interactions with NW Complete Contracting.
Description of Work: They pressure washed my entire house, filled cracks with caulking, sanded where necessary, primed where required (shingles) and painted the siding and trim with two coats of Sherwin Williams Resilience paint. As a cost saving measure I am painting the lower portion of my house by myself.

Bid process was straight forward. Some confusion after work was completed as the initial bid did not include WSST. Work accomplished soon after commitment by owner to proceed; big plus. Crew was courteous, however there were a few paint drips on the baseboards and wall patches were not re-textured (I thought this was included in the bid). Overall, I was satisfied with the work accomplished and will consider using this company again after ensuring greater written specificity of work to be performed on the contract.

They arrived promptly and did a good job. I had bought an Angie's list deal for $99 so the price was very reasonable. The only glitch was underestimating the amount of paint I would need. I didn't realize they would be putting on two coats so I had to run out for more paint

he crew had missed anything. The numbered comments below refer to the exterior paint job: 1. Emrush Halili took the most time of any of our bidders to look over the house with me, and to discuss details - like the need for a special adhesive primer on our new windows - as opposed to oil based primer for exterior wood. He examined the windows carefully for any way to release the sliding window half (Don't know the proper term.) Similarly, their contract was very detailed in describing the work that they'd do. In addition, he was very personable, and very ready to give us the 10% Senior discount.2. Entezan was an excellent and knowledgable crew leader. He was the first crew member I met when he was assigned to pressure wash the house, and he took the time to explain what he was doing and answer any questions. He was a friendly, diligent worker. He took note of any problems with siding, light fixtures, old cables, etc. that their crew could improve upon. He took the time to pressure wash the chimney brick of moss as he covered the north side of the house.3. The company couldn't meet our initial start date because of wet weather, but when the last stretch of 3 dry, mainly sunny days in October occurred, Emrush put from 3 to 5 painters on the crew, and they clearly worked hard and efficiently, with Entezan as their crew leader organizing their efforts. They arrived in the time frames they said they would. They returned promptly from their half hour lunch breaks. They were all friendly guys. They worked until about 6:00 each day and finished the job at 6:30p.m. on the third day, just before the rains started again.4. The painters were skillful and conscientious about doing careful work. They paid attention to detail, and at the final walkthrough Entezan took note of a few places where masking had been difficult or had been done differently by two people, and had those spots corrected immediately. Entezan also had taken the lead during the job to replace a few cedar shingles that had deteriorated on the most weathered South side of the house, and to remove old phone cable, and metal clamps for an old TV ariel that had been taken down.5. Preparation was thorough; painting was excellent; Cleanup was very good. The house looks great! I was very impressed by the NWCC people and their work. Interior: We are just as pleased with the interior work as with the exterior paint job. The painters asked at what time it was okay for them to arrive in the morning and they arrived exactly as scheduled. They were quiet and thoughtful and pleasant to deal with and did a beautiful job with the painting. Everything was cleaned up and put back in place at the end of the job and Emrush encouraged us to go over everything carefully to see if any touch-ups were needed. None were needed.
Description of Work: Emrush Halili, Isuf and Enrich painted three rooms in our house this week after first repairing some fairly serious serious wall ceiling flaws. They had to work in some fairly tight spaces as the furniture, even after being moved to the center of the rooms they painted were crowded. Before the painting even commenced, Emrush gave us a very useful consultation on not only colors but the types of paint he recommends. Last October we hired Emrush and Northwest Complete Contracting to paint the exterior of our house, so hiring them for the job this week didn't require competitive bidding; we knew we wanted them to paint the interior of the house. For the exterior painting, Entezan was the crew leader.

I had a coupon for $99 for one room that was expiring in one week. I called Emrush with a vary vague plan of what I wanted done. At the time I did not even have the paint picked out, nor did I know how many rooms I would want painted. He was incredibly patient and said he would come by, at the agreed upon time, with one other painter. When he arrived I had paint for one bedroom, the bathroom and the hallway and stairwell. We agreed on a price for the extra rooms, he called in another painter since it was more (much more) than I had indicated on the phone, and they painted away. The job was absolutely incredible. Pure perfection. The lines were unbelievable, not a missed spot. No drips and not a single smudge on the ceiling or trim. Made the rest of the house pale in comparison. Once they were finished I knew the rest of the house had to be done. I immediately contacted my designer and we had the paint picked out that weekend and Emrush returned on Monday with the same two wonderful painters (Oscar and Bajram.) They spent the next two days painting the second bedroom, the kitchen, entryway, living room and dining room. Again, the job was absolutely perfect. Once I saw how beautiful the rooms were, and how old and dingy my trim looked, I sheepishly asked if they might have time to paint the trim? Not a problem! They returned the next day and went to work on the trim. I have trim in every room, floor and ceiling. It was a huge job. In order to complete the job by the end of the week, Emrush brought in a couple more guys, who were just as good, and they finished the job late Thursday evening. All of the guys worked incredibly hard and did an outstanding job. My designer came by and was so impressed that he took one of their cards so he could recommend them to future clients. I have recommended them to several friends, one of whom has already hired them. I have to add that I had all the extra painting done without a quote. At the end of the week I was a bit concerned what the price would be. I should not have worried. Emrush charged me a total of $4,000, which was much lower than I thought it would be, and I'm sure lower than if he had quoted the job up front. I was so shocked that I actually offered to pay him more (can you believe it?) but he politely declined. He said he was happy with the amount and pleased that I had offered him another job, painting our deck and outside trim this spring. What a guy!! I can not say enough good things about Emrush and his team of professionals. They are hardworking, meticulous and honest to the core. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.
Description of Work: Northwest Complete Contracting painted two bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen, hall, stairwell, entryway, living room and dining room. In addition, they painted all the trim in the various rooms plus the front door.

Excellent work by a hard working disciplined if small crew. It was a fairly complicated house to paint but they did a very thorough job, carefully completing every step during some very long days. The front door needed to be red, which was a difficult color to apply and It was close to perfect but not quite - Emrush agreed and has offered to return to do it again. I may accept the offer when the weather is better! I'd definitely recommend them or use them again.

They responded quickly to my request for an estimate and we scheduled a time for them to come out. They were about an hour late for the appointment, which would have been fine had they called to let me know. It's been a few weeks and we haven't received the estimate nor have they responded to my inquiries. I can certainly understand if they are busy or decided they don't want my business, but it wouldn't hurt to let me know. I thought when I found them that my search was over - my business was theirs to lose, and they did. I'm hoping that maybe it's just a communications snafu because this seems inconsistent with others' experiences. I am leaving this review in the spirit of the season - after all, a complaint is a gift. I don't want to discourage others from trying this company, but I do want the company to know that if they agree to provide an estimate they should either do so, or let the potential customer know that they are opting to no-bid.

I have used NWCC services on at least three other occasions. They painted the entire exterior of my large home in 2009 and did significant interior painting in Spring 2011. Most recently they painted three bathrooms and one bedroom including walls, baseboards, ceilings and doors. Emrush ( the owner) and his team arrived promptly on day they were scheduled to start. They are very careful and cover all furniture and put drop cloths on the floor. They were supposed to be here 5 days, but got done one day early. (Which I greatly appreciated after living through several months of remodeling construction). When NWCC was done painting, Emrush did a walk through of each room to make sure everything was done to my liking. They did an outstanding job, as I have experienced in the past. I highly recommend their services.

The owner of this wonderful company had come out in early spring to give me an estimate. By the time I got around to dealing with it it was September. He was gracious enough to honor his old bid and we arranged for them to begin work ASAP. Before the entire crew arrived on a Monday, a gentleman came out and pressure washed the house and began to do some prep. On the following Monday the crew arrived and they did an outstanding job of prepping my 1920 shingled craftsman house. The prepping took all of Monday, Tuesday and part of Wednesday! This is exactly what was needed as the last painting (done before I purchased the house) had been done on top of bad or non-existant prepping and the paint was peeling off in sheets! The entire crew then painted the house via electric rollers and by hand which continued until Saturday afternoon! They finished and everything was dry just before a cloud burst hit! They were all together efficient, thoughtful, tidy and timely! I'd be happy to recommend them to my friends and family and to use them again myself should the occasion arise!

We were extremely pleased with the professionalism of the company owner and the expertise of the men who completed the siding work on our home. From the initial contact with Emrush to the completion of the job, everything went well. They were knowledgeable, precise in the work, asked questions to make sure that the job was done as we wanted it, and left the work area clean. When the work was in progress, we asked for a couple of minor changes, such as the addition of new trim boards at the roof-line, and this was completed. They worked with us from start to finish, did what they said they would do, and provided a great service. Northwest Complete Contracting is an exceptional company and I would highly recommend these professionals.
Description of Work: Northwest Complete Contracting was hired to install Hardie-Plank siding on the south facing surfaces of our home, which included one wall on the side of the attached garage, another surface at the roof-line, and the entire surface area of the dormer. This also involved replacing one vent and two trim boards at the roof line. The style of the Hardie-Plank and the paint color were chosen to closely match the existing cedar siding on the other sides of the home.

Our request for a bid received an immediate response via phone and a visit. The quote was half of the other bidder. They fit us in as the last job of the summer season. Great job on the prep work, which was extensive due to vertical siding that needed caulking, as well as priming previously unpainted surfaces. Came on time, worked hard, high quality results, no messes, even came back on Saturday morning to do final touch ups. We feel great about the value and the results.

Northwest Complete Contracting was one of three to bid on repainting our 2001 home. His bid was the highest, but his detailed quote was very complete and mentioned preparations that had not occurred to me. Some of the extras he mentioned would have been very useful in an older home that had more need of preparations.

These are true craftsmen who take pride in their work, are detail oriented and take the time to answer questions and explain everything they are doing, yet do their job quickly, I also appreciated that Northwest Complete Contracting does not use subcontractors. Last year, I had a nightmarish experience with another company that hired subcontractors to paint the south and east sides of my house. My experience with Northwest Complete Contracting was positive, from beginning to end. They are honest professionals and everyone has been admiring the high-quality work they did on my house. I would have no reservations about hiring them for my next project.
Description of Work: I highly recommend Northwest Complete Contracting. The crew did an excellent job of prepping (scraping, sanding, doing repairs, applying primer, caulking, spackling and again sanding) and painting the exterior of the badly-peeling west side of my Victorian house (built in 1894). Also, the cost, for everything they did, was very reasonable. They went way beyond my original expectations when, at no extra charge, they did numerous repairs and touch-ups, such as replacing the damaged board behind a downspout, putting in a new window screen, replacing a broken pane in a basement window, repairing damaged areas of the wood window trim and painting areas under the roof (on another side of the house) that a previous painting contractor had not wanted to do.

First I can't say enough about Emrush Halil, the owner. Very knowledgeable about the process and very customer oriented. I secured 4 bids on the painting of my home. (I was amazed by the range of the bids!) NCC was the second lowest, but based on the information and my personal judgment of the person doing the bidding, Emrush was clearly my first choice. His knowledge of the process was obviously complete. Where several of the companies did a walk around and wrote a price on their business cards, Emrush came with a complete list of things that would be done during the process. The list was a GREAT help. There were a number of things were on his list that I had not considered. I needed to wait for a month for him to get to our job, but that proved to be an excellent choice. They showed up right on schedule and completed the job in three days. The prep work was extensive and showed in the finished product. The spraying went amazingly fast. One man spraying and another setting up the ladders for him. They spent a full day on the finish. The work was done promptly and to my complete satisfaction. My walk around when the job was complete found nothing that needed attention. A shingle sided house is very difficult to paint, with the slots between the shingles and the bottom edges of the shingles absorbing so much paint. Perfect! Trim work was cut in expertly. I asked for several special items during the work that were not part of the contract and they were very accommodating. The clean up was excellent. Price was exactly what the bid was.
