I would say the high point was the prep work that they did. I had others comment on that to me, who are knowledgeable in the construction industry about how well they did. That was probably the most important part of painting my house was having good prep work. Anyone working with the company should make sure that they communicate very clearly in terms of the details of the painting.

Emrush Halili provided me with a full, detailed, itemized written estimate immediately, on the spot. After getting other bids we decided to go with Northwest as the price seemed competitive and I had a good feeling for Emrush. His crew worked every day, was hardworking and cooperative and the job was completed in a rreasonable amount of time. I was impressed that the crew took a lot of effort to watch out for my neighbors landscape as well as keeping paint chips. etc. confined to their drop clothes which they rolled up everyday and disposed of. Overall, this was a very pleasant and professional experience. Emrush is very pleasant to deal with. He returns calls in a timely manner, and is very willing to discuss the work to be accomplished. He showed up for all of our meetings on time. His crew started the work when they had us scheduled and completed all of the contracted work within 1 week. It could not have gone better. Great Job, good company to work with

I was pleased with the service I got from Amrush and the crew from Northwest Complete Painting. I felt that they offered a superior quality exterior paint (Sherwin-Williams Duration), and when I researched the brand, I found it came in a very wide selection of colors compared to the brands used by two other companies whom I asked to provide estimates. Northwest Complete Painting provided me with a full, detailed, itemized written estimate immediately, on the spot. I did not have to wait several days for an e-mail, as I did with another contractor. Amrush and his crew always arrived promptly, and they started their work promptly. The job was finished on schedule, exactly when they said it would be finished. They followed my special instructions well ("don't paint the garage doors because I'm having them replaced") and did a very thorough and careful job of masking and post-paint cleanup. On the first day, they even masked off my entire car (it's a little car) because it was parked in the driveway when they started. I was especially pleased to note, as I did the walk-around inspection after they completed the job, that while earlier paint jobs from years past had splattered the old color of paint in places where it shouldn't be (i.e. on the chimney brick), there was no trace of the new color anywhere except where it ought to be. Northwest Complete Painting was not the cheapest estimate I received by over $1,000, but I think they were more professional (another contractor's estimators arrived on the wrong day, for example), offered a better paint, communicated well, masked and cleaned up thoroughly, and showed up/did what they said they would do when they said they would do it. I would hire them again.

We schedule the start of the project two weeks in advance. Two days before, they confirmed the time of their arrival. First, they start doing the roofing, then after they tare the roof off they found some plywood rooted and they replaced it with no charge to me. After then, they install the roof which looks very nice, and I got a lot of complements from my neighbors. Then, they did the repair on the siding, and started doing the preparation for the paint, which was a lot of work. They painted two bad rooms inside and painted the house outside with attention to every detail. The crew was very hard working and respectful. Every day they updated me with the progress of the project. They came on time every day and at the end of the day they clean up their work. After the house was completed, Emrush came over to walk through with me and make sure everything was perfect. One of the things I liked a lot was that they paid attention to details. My house looks like new and I was glad, I choose Northwest Complete Painting.
Description of Work: I called three other companies to give me a bit on my project for roofing, some repair siding, exterior and interior painting. I decided to go with Northwest Complete Painting, because Northwest Compete Contracting was one of the most knowledgeable company, and they had had the best reputation.

The exterior paint on our rental house was badly deteriorated by the time we called to get estimates. Emrush was timely in meeting me for the estimate and sent the bid punctually. It was similar to the two other bids we got and provided three options (which not all companies provided). He worked with our timeframe - and another contractor who was replacing our gutters. He also did some replacement & repair of damaged boards. No hidden costs. The house looks great and our renters said the crew was very pleasant & cooperative

I received bids from five painting companies, four of which are on Angie's List. The fifth company painted a neighbor's house, and theirs was the lowest bid. However, it was a "student painters"-type company and I didn't have confidence in their ability to perform quality work. So I ruled them out easily. Along with its price, another reason I chose Northwest Complete Contracting was the fact that they use Sherwin-Williams Duration paint, which is their highest quality product. The bid I received from Northwest Complete Contracting was handwritten and did not include a breakdown of what labor would cost me, what the paint would cost, and what my Angie's List discount was. I just received a bottom line number. I'd have liked to have received a more professional-looking bid, but I still had confidence in this company, due to the high ratings on Angie's List and the fact that the owner (Emrush) seemed to know what he was doing. The painting took approximately four days to complete, in addition to a few hours of pressure washing at the beginning. The crew spent most of one day on surface preparation and masking alone. I was impressed by their thoroughness in this regard. And the quality of the painting itself seems excellent, with very good attention to detail. My issues with the company are primarily around communication, or lack thereof. There were a couple of days when I was expecting the painters to come -- I'd arranged my schedule to be home for them, in case they needed anything. But when the weather on those days became a bit rainy, they just didn't show up. The second time this happened it was the Saturday before Labor Day. I received no call from Emrush (the crew lead is not allowed to call customers directly) to let me know that they were not coming or when they were planning to come finish the job. Then the next day, they just arrived. I mentioned to the crew lead that I was annoyed by the lack of communication, and he responded with some surprise, as if it was an unsual thing for a customer to want to know when to expect workers at his/her house. He contacted Emrush, who called me and merely offered excuses. Yes, I understood about the weather, but a quick phone call was in order. And all I wanted was an apology after the fact. (Apparently, people like me are flagged as "high maintenance"; I consider my expectations entirely reasonable.) The other issue I had with them concerns some damage to a large cedar tree in my front yard near the driveway. Despite ample parking in front of my house as well as on the driveway, one of the painters parked his van *into* the tree. Then, when he noticed that some branches were caught in the rack on top of the van, he ripped them off with his hands. I found a pile of branches placed into tree, and was very dismayed to see what he had done. There were large, ugly "rip/gash" marks where the branches had been removed; many of the will not grow back. To my astonishment, this painter parked his van in the same spot the next time he returned to my house. Again, there was no reason to park there -- lots of room elsewhere, away from the tree. I had to ask the crew lead to have him move it -- this incensed me, as the painter seemed to have learned nothing after parking into the tree the first time. This evaluation would not be complete without a few words about Antizon (sp?), the crew lead. He was extremely conscientious, polite, and professional -- and seemed like a genuinely nice person. He apologized profusely for both the lack of communication regarding the work schedule as well as for the damage to my tree caused by one of his painters. I realize it's impossible to watch one's workers every moment, so I didn't blame him for what happened to my tree. I have given this company an A for quality of work and an overall score of B, due to my grades on the other criteria about which Angie's List asks. This evaluation form asks if I would hire Northwest Complete Contractors again. I have responded "yes," as their workmanship and attention to detail were excellent. And they cleaned up well after each day, leaving very little debris on the ground around the house. I would just caution any customers to have a conversation with the crew lead at the start of the job, in order to set expectations regarding communication about their work schedule. And if there are any trees near the street, be sure to ask them to park away from them!

Not very happy with the outcome of the paint job and staining of our new deck. It doesn't look as if there was a 2nd coat of paint as promised and didn't scrape areas that needed before painting. Looks terrible. We contacted him regarding pealing paint and parts that need touch up, he sent out a guy that didn't know what he was supposed to do. The person he had stained our deck didn't know how to apply stain and it looks terrible.

Emrush Halili came out and inspected the job very carefully, listened to our concerns and was very knowledgeable and informed on what would work and not work to achieve the outcome we had in mind. His crew was punctual, hardworking and cooperative. When we called him with a concern, he was immediately responsive and determined that we would be happy with his work and we most certainly are happy with the job he did. We definitely would use him again and enthusiastically give him the highest rating. He is the professional one always hopes to find and we appreciated his good work.

Description of Work: Northwest Complete Painting painted the exterior of our house. Their price included powerwashing all of the exterior of the house. They also removed all of the loose and chipped paint, applied caulk to all joint, corners, and trim. They primed the siding where needed. They applied 2 coats of Sherwin Williams Duration paint. All this for the price as noted. Finally, when the job was finished the painters cleaned up all of the left over trash etc...around the house. During the paint work, the painters did note that our gutters were in very bad condition and needed to be replaced. Emrush discussed this issue with us and offered to work with us on this issue. We eventually used a gutter replacement company that Emrush suggested, and this also turned out very well.

Emrush and the entire crew were wonderful to work with. He was prompt and professional at scheduling an estimate, which he delivered that same afternoon. The work began on time and was completed within 1 week. The work crew arrived on time each day and were very pleasant to have around the house, cleaning up at the end of each day. They even took care to ensure that my elderly dog was secure in a side yard before opening gates at the start of the day and always closed the gates at the end of the day. I am very pleased with the end result and esp. with the price! I would definitely use this company again for any painting job, exterior or interior, and will recommend them to friends and family.

Emrush Halili of Northwest Complete Painting was one of three painting contractors I contacted after reading about them on Angie's list. All three submitted prompt bids, but Emrush charged about two-thirds of what the other contractors proposed. The work was done on a timely basis, and appears to be a quality job.

Emrush and the rest of Northwest Complete Painting did a wonderful job painting the main living areas of my house (living room, dining room, main hallway, and entry way). Additionally they painted the trim and doors (which were dark stained wood). They were less expensive than other quotes that I had gotten and they did a great job. I am very happy with the job that they did and I would highly recommend them. They were very responsive, punctual, and professional. The only surprise in the whole process was that taxes had not been included in the original quote and surprised me with an extra couple hundred dollars when I was making the final payment. So, when getting your quote I would suggest confirming if taxes have already been included (if it is not clear).

The owner, Emrush, and the team were all very polite and respected our home. The quality of the painting is top notch; everything is even, all lines are straight and there isn't any paint where it isn't supposed to be. Emrush really stands behind his work; when the first color on our front door didn't match my expectations, Emrush went out and got new paint and resprayed the door without any objections or questioning. I'd use this company again without question.

Emrush, the owner, was able to come within one or two days. He was very responsive to setting an appointment time that worked for me. He can on time, walked the house and gave his professional opinion on the amount of work needed and how he would go about it. He wrote the estimate on the spot (the only paint contractor we met with that did so) and gave a follow up call. His bid was competitive. We decided to go with someone else based on personal referral.

Amrish responded to my call for an estimate in a timely manner. He took his time looking over the whole house, including checking the bare wood for potential rotting. He explained the process and discussed types and brands of paints. His crew worked very hard and each night after they finished painting they took the time to clean up everything. At the end of the job Amrish did a final inspection with me and made sure that all was done to my satisfaction.

Excellent job by the crew of this company. Emrush was very knowledgeable about paint products. We chose the colors and did some test patches on different areas of the house before telling Emrush what we wanted. The guys always came on time in the morning, worked hard all day and in the evening cleaned and packed up all their materials nicely. The end result is beautiful and now after a month there is no chipping or failure of the paint. The house looks the same as the first day it was painted. We are extremely impressed.

Emrush is a very professional honest business person. After preparing a proposal, he met with me to review the proposal and made specific paint recommendaitons (i.e., Sherwin Williams high quality exterior paint). He had Sherwin Williams match the existing paint colors of the house, which they did perfectly. His crew arrived on time the day they were supposed to start. The project manager, Adrian was great to deal with as well. They did some extra work that was needed (replaced bad wood, sanded and prepared metal handrails on our deck) at what we thought was a reasonable cost. The job was complicated and required them to rent a boom to reach some difficult places on our home. They cleaned up at the end of each day, the project manager Adrain checked in with me each day to review the progress. The completed the work on time and within the budget - with the exception of the additional work we approved. The house looks great! We are very happy with the quality of the work. We plan to use this company for interior painting projects this winter.

It went really well. He came out quickly to give bid, was very responsive to questions. We had a lot of rotten wood that had to be replaced. Other companies told me I had to find someone to replace the wood before they painted. But this company replaced the wood for me, which saved me a lot of time and trouble. They were neat and tidy. I have not found any paint spills or splatters. They also painted two adirondak chairs for me.
