We're in it to make a living, not a killing. We perform all the job related activities of an electrical contractor that other companies do, we just don't hit your wallet so hard. AdenBecks, LLC began doing business in 1985 and is still a family owned and operated company. Currently our hourly rate is $60.00 per hour. That is also our service call rate for the first hour. We have traveled as far north as Northport, Washington and as far south as Colfax, and Dusty, Washington. We have gone east as far as Priest Lake, Idaho and as far west as Ritzville, and Benge, Washington. For longer trips we charge for windshield time but do not add a trip fee on top of that. We prefer to "walk the job" with the customer to ascertain their needs versus wants are, as well as to advise them of how we can save them money. However we can make proposals and bids based on architectural drawings if you prefer. Our technicians have a wide variety of job experience with and in other trades and can help mitigate problems that commonly arise when more than one trade is needed to complete a job. We can provide previous customers' contact information if you wish to view the work we did or ask how we and our employees are as a company. Some picture records are available at www.facebook.com/adenbecks. We work in cooperation with John Wiley of Northwest Solar to install Solar power systems. Our electricians are members of the Inland Northwest chapter of the International association of Electrical Inspectors. We receive up to date training and have formed positive relationships with both City and State inspectors. When we bid a project we will supply documentation to assist you in evaluating our bid in comparison to other contractors. These documents include a suggested list of questions to ask all of your electrical bidders.
"The WORST Customer Service I have ever received which came from the Co-Owner David Thoeny. (Ok, top 3 worst). I hired a contractor for completion of new roof, hardy plank, rock, and gutters. During this time the contractor crew damaged 2 lights. Contractor called Adenbecks and scheduled them to come to fix the damage. Invoice was sent to contractor who did not pay it. I then received the invoice saying the contractor stated it was my responsibility (which is not true after talking to the contractor). I DID NOT call Adenbecks to my home. I emailed to communicate the above and received an email from David Thoeny stating that the work was completed at my address and it was my responsibility. If I did not pay it Adenbecks would take legal actions to collect this. I had knowledge of this invoice for 1 week. There was no customer service in communication on this issue. I decided to pay the invoice and take it up with the contractor. I feel this was not my responsibility. When I phoned to make the payment, David Thoeny answered the phone and was rude, condescending, and told me he thinks that if a customer does not pay an invoice within 30 days they are likely not going to pay it and he thinks his threat of legal action was acceptable and HE IS NOT AFRAID TO SUE ME. I had knowledge of this invoice for 7 days! He was not interested in that fact. Lack of communication from the office was terrible. Calls not returned, very poor customer service, and plain disrespect from the co-owner David Thoeny. Beware in doing business with this company. I will NEVER call them for my electrical needs."

The average cost to install solar panels is around $26,600, and most homeowners pay between $4,500 and $53,000. Keep in mind that these prices don’t consider the federal investment tax credit (ITC), which can effectively reduce those costs by up to 30%. The price you can expect to pay for solar panel installation depends on the size of the system, where you live, the type and brand of panels, and the labor costs. Get price quotes from at least three solar companies in your area to find the best deal.
In most states, solar installers need to be licensed and insured as solar professionals, although some states don’t have specific requirements for installers. You can use our state licensing tool to check if an installer you’re considering hiring holds the proper licensing. No matter where you live, a member of your solar panel installation company must be a certified electrician to connect your panels to your home and the electric grid.
There are a few qualifying questions you should ask a local solar panel company before hiring them:
Will you handle permits for the installation?
Does your total price include the equipment and labor?
How long do you expect the installation process to take?
What kind of workmanship warranty do you include with your installations?
Who should I contact if I have a problem with my system after installation?
Do you install the panels or outsource the work to third parties?
Will you file for solar incentives for me?
In most cases, yes, solar panels are well worth the investment. Going solar with your home’s energy is expensive, but, in most states, the panels will pay for themselves by reducing your electric bills. Solar panels don’t produce greenhouse gasses or other pollutants, meaning you can feel good about using this renewable energy source to power your home. Plus, installing solar panels can boost your home value, helping your profit off your next home sale.
Yes, solar panel installation will require permits. The required permits will depend on where you live, as some states and cities have solar-specific permits, while others only require electrical permits to connect to the grid. In either case, it’s best to hire a reputable solar installer in your area, as a representative should handle all of the necessary permitting for you and will include the cost of the permits in your initial solar estimate.
