Explained options and rationale very thoroughly and assisted in finding a cost-effective option. I'm very happy with the outcome. The County electrical inspector said it all, "Oh, this was done by Mercurio. I expect we'll find that it was done exactly right."

The folks came out and gave us a price of what the job would cost and were up front about the wait time for the furnace to be in stock. When furnace was available they came out when they said they would. The gentlemen were very courteous and nice and were very forth coming with answer to our questions. They cleaned up what little mess they made before they left. all in all we were very pleased with the work and workmanship of the project.

Mecurio's put in a heat pump and gas furnace for us 3 years ago so we called on them again for this job. They are competatively priced and are always on time! They are professional and courteous and do the job right the first time. The installers and staff are the best. I would recommend them for any heating, air conditioning, gas piping you need. They are professional an do tjob right.

I have been very satisfied with Mercurio's throughout the whole process. Their representative, Tim, was very professional and responsive during the bid process, doing a good job with measurement and calculations and getting back to me with a bid and responding to all questions very timely as I worked through the combination of brand, features and warranty that I wanted based on my research. After contract signing, Mercurio's was great in terms of scheduling and their crew came when they said they would come, were professional and courteous and got the job done ahead of schedule. The real differentiator, though, for me has been Mercurio's service since the installation. Mercurio's gurantees all labor and material for 1 year from the date of installation and has great emergency service and they really stand by that guarantee. 1 month after installation (with the weather turning already colder), my family returned from a short vacation on a Saturday evening and found that the furnace was not working. We called Mercurio's and their emergency technician was there in under 30 minutes. He resolved the immediate problem (error code on the motherboard) and then scheduled a time for the next week to come by and make an adjustment to the condensation drain (possible cause of the error code). Later in the fall, the error code appeared again and caused the furnace to not work on a weekend night. Again, the technician was out in under 30 minutes, resolved the issue, and then came back to replace the control board a couple of days later. We have had no problems after that. Throughout the whole process, Mercurio's was very proactive and responsive, honoring their commitment to make sure my family had heat when we needed it. That is why I chose them in the first place - my hope that they would be able to timely resolve the initial hiccups that can come from the installation of a complex system - and I was not dissapointed. Mercurio's provided excellent service from bid to installation to troubleshooting, offered reasonable, competitive prices, and a good selection of brands. I would not hesitate to recommend Mercurio's to anyone.

Hank was the service tech that assisted me. He helped me through the entire process of the inspections and saved me money. He was very responsive. I would highly recommend this company.

We were given a cost estimate to repair the pipe/vent and after the work was completed they sent us a bill at the low end of the estimate. I was very impressed with their billing procedure. I'd had another company come out and their estimate was 4 times higher than what Mercurios charged us. I felt like the other company was attempting to overcharge because when he was here he said it was a quick fix and he'd email me with the estimate and there would be no need to get another estimate because his would be so reasonable. When his bid came in at $1,200.00 I KNEW I'd better get another bid.

For some reason starting over the weekend, the blower wouldn't turn off and would continue to blow cold air when the heat reached the correct temperature. I read through the furnace manual and couldn't figure out what was wrong. I called on Mercurios on Monday because my furnace was acting funny. When the technician showed up today, he was very polite and friendly. He started by looking at the thermostat and with one press of a button the issue was fixed. I didn't even realize that I had an active "fan" button. My kids must have hit it over the weekend and I didn't realize it. While he was here, I had him clean and inspect the furnace which I wanted done anyway. Overall the experience was great (though embarassing) and I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

After my forced air furnace went out for the second time in a month and a call to another company, I found Mercurio's on Angie's List and gave them a call. I explained that the unit was blowing cold air and the blower wouldn't shut off even with the thermostat turned off. The lady on the line was professional and informed. She addressed my questions and told me they could have someone out the next day. The technician who showed up the next day was professional and did the job well. A strange error code had him making a couple of phone calls and figuring it out. He adjusted the prongs on the pin board for a better connection, which worked He was concise upfront that the issue could require further attention but there was no way to know until the furnace played the weird code game some more. Prices were excellent. Even when discussing the possible price of a new board, I was pleasantly surprised. Overall great experience without ANY wait or hassle.

When I need something I look on Angie's List and I find the top vendors and I pick one and get the service. They were good. They were excellent.

Fantastic experience. Second time hiring Mercurio's. We called Mercurios Saturday night when the blower in our furnace stopped pumping heat throughout the house. We spoke to the emergency technician to make sure we handled things safely or dealt with any possible dangers promptly. He walked us through some things and, once he determined it was not an emergency and asked if we had enough space heaters available to get by until Monday, he explained the cost breakdown of having him come or waiting for the first open appointment during normal operating hours. We chose to wait. We received a call at 7:55 Monday morning telling us the service technician would be out between 11:00 and 1:00. He arrived just a few minutes after 11:00 and quickly replaced a simple part. He was done a few minutes later. We used the Angie's List member coupon and paid a total of $88.35. WE LOVE MERCURIO'S! Fantastic, prompt, fair, and very professional!

Our gas furnace is almost 20 years old. An inspection of the heat exchangers during a cleaning by ANOTHER company revealed that they needed to be replaced. They recommended a new furnace. We told them that they were under a 20 year warranty and wanted them replaced. We found Mercurio's when looking for other bids. An appointment was easy to make, they were very nice over the phone. The technician arrived on time. He was very nice and professional. He inspected the heat exchangers and yes, they all needed to be replaced. He replaced them and did some additional cleaning and maintenance on the furnace that the OTHER company did not do. I paid exactly what they quoted over the phone. It has been one month and the furnace is running like new!!!

No complaints...wonderful experience!

While the visit was just routine this year, we have used Mercurio's for over 20 years to repair/maintain our previous furnace. We had a horrible experience with another company who came to fix a problem with the old furnace, only to have the furnace stop working in a snowstorm, not long after the "fix". The other company was not going to stand by their work and wanted to charge additionally for the second trip. A friend recommended Mercurios....Mercurios did some diagnostics with us on the phone which did not work. So, they went out of their way to come out in the snowstorm with the temp about 10 degrees. They fixed the furnace and did not charge exhorbitant "emergency" trip charges. Three years ago, we wanted to replace our water heater with a tankless model, and called Mercurio's for an estimate. They were very honest to tell us that they did not have the expertise to do so. We went with another company....turns out that company did not really have the experience and expertise, installed the tankless model incorrectly, leaks occured, company was called to do the repair under warranty, but was out of business! Unfortunately, we have learned the hard way to deal only with companies with proven track records. We can not say enough about the honesty, integrity, and reliability of Mercurio's.

Mercurio's is the most friendly, cooperative, and service-oriented company I have known. We had a very unique problem at home due to damage from mold contamination. Before calling Mercurio's (and two other HVAC companies for estimates), I thoroughly investigated crawlspace mold and ventilation issues. I have a science background and I knew how I wanted the repairs done. Instead of preaching to me about the best ways to re-install all the ducting that was removed during mold remediation and how to ventilate the crawlspace, the staff of Mercurio's listened with curiosity and compassion. Their bid was somewhat higher than the other two bids, but I knew Mercurio's would work cooperatively with me, and I felt their furnace air filter was the best product. My wife and I are extremely satisfied with the work. It was a stress-free experience.

I called Mercurios they sent an estimator he gave me an estimate we made an appointment they showed up on time and completed the gas line work. Very professional. I decided to have the duct work moved called Mercurios and made appointment 2 men showed up on time completed the work. Very professional. The Forman came by to make sure I was happy.

They were friendly on the phone and explained how to turn on the emergency heat until the tech could arrive. Technician arrived promptly and checked everything out and fixed our problem. Great professional service.

Since we have baseboard heat, this was a major upgrade for us. Our sales rep, Keegan was great. We were concerned that the unit would not be big enough to handle the area we wanted to heat and cool. He answered all of our questions and explained how it worked, ultimately he saving us from going with too large a unit. The installers were clean, courteous and professional. Mercurio's arranged the permits, inspections and registration. And Keegan followed up a couple of weeks later, just to see if everything was okay. We couldn't be more pleased with the heat pump and Mercurio's.

I had read that Tacoma Power was offering either a rebate or interest-free financing on the installation of a new ductless heat pump. I called several of their approved contractors and decided on Mercurio's since they were prompt, polite, and professional in responding to my inquiries. Tim was thoroughly knowledgeable about the whole application process, explained clearly the dollars and differences between the rebate and financing options, and certainly knew his stuff when it came to the technical questions about the heat pump system. When he wasn't 100% sure about the electrical wiring he called the electrician out to the house, who reassured him (and me) that the wiring would not be a problem. The installation itself went exactly as described, the electrician did exactly what he said he was going to do, and the whole thing was done on time and I couldn't be happier with the entire process. Every person I had contact with at Mercurio's was knowledgeable, courteous, and professional.

After calling Mercurios to come out and check our gas furnance, in 2008, for cleaning and repairs, the repairman arrived at the appointed time. Performed the necessary work, in a short time. Explained what he did and gave us suggestions on how to keep the furnance working properly. We were very pleased with the work and professionalism of the repairman.

The technician knew what he was doing. He did a really good job. I intend to use him again in the future.

They were very good excellent and I will use them again. I thought their price was reasonable. and they were very responsive.

I wasn't sure that the price wasn't a bit high for such an inexpensive, easy to install part. Also, when I asked, casually, if the furnace was getting near it's end, the tech generally answered no, but then wrote on the invoice that it may need to be replaced soon. I doubt he would have done this if I hadn't asked the question.
