The technician was great. We had a small job but he came out to let us know what would be involved and then came back to complete the work after we had the gas meter moved. Very positive on the phone and in person. The technician was patient in explaining the work and coordinated with the siding installers to be sure it was what was needed. I thought the cost was fine - it's not something you could do yourself, yet they didn't charge for the initial visit - just for the time spent on the job. I would definitely recommend them and trust them on a bigger job.

The service was good. Between 2 and four people came out to do the job and it took them two days to complete the job. They did a good job cleaning up. I would say that they did the job at the bid price. I would recommend them to friends and family.

The service was good. It did not take them very long to make the repairs. The repairman was nice. They were prompt. We do not have any negative feedback.

I have a 30 year old electric furnace that has been malfunctioning over the last couple of years. Two other companies assessed the problem and could not provide a solution because the furnace is not longer being manufactured. It seemed that the furnace would have to be replaced. After reading the reviews about this company on Angie's List, I decided to give it one last try. Mercurio's technician, Barry Glassy, quickly identified the problem and had it fixed in 30 minutes. The furnace is functioning as it should. This company saved me thousands of dollars.

The guys who worked at our house arrived promptly on schedule and finished the extensive installation in one day. They kept me informed of the work they were doing and explained how things worked so that I would be easily able to maintain the new system. They seemed to be personally committed to providing the best possible service to us. We would chose them again in a minute and we recommend them highly.

During the season's first intense heat wave in the Tacoma/Seattle area (mid July) my 96 yr old mother lost her air conditioning. That is uncomfortable to anyone, but can be deadly for the elderly. Everyone was calling heat/ac companies and they were all swamped. We did get some people to come and give us bids and no one could do the work "today." I used Angie's list from Eugene, Oregon to research providers and have always had great success with this service. I chose Mercurio's, which was the most expensive, because of their concern, professionalism, clarity about product and process and push to get my mother service as quickly as possible. With each contact from initial call, to (on time for appointment) initial assessment of problems, to (on time for appointment) salesman, to installers and every person in between, each and all have been outstanding in every way. There were four or five men involved in the removal of the old components and installation of the new....they moved large potted plants, went underneath the house, moved the washer outside so they could drill the lines in the wall where they would not show, to cutting out the old system and beautifully installing a 100% better and quieter system. The workers were professional, kind, efficient, focused and well trained. My elderly mother's old system, which was less than 8 yrs old and bought and installed by a competitor and regularly maintained by them, was mismatched and not very quiet (it made a LOUD bang! when you shut it off) nor efficient, but it too was expensive but died prematurely. That company got an F on their review, which is not something I generally do. I had no idea how quiet and efficient and delightful a heat/ac system could be until this one was so expertly installed. Much hard work went into the install and the next day, Evan Storlie, came out again to make sure all was working well and to teach us how to use the new programmable thermostat. When one figures the time from first call to last visit, and the last call where we were informed that the initial assessment fee was not deducted from the final payment and would be refunded to us....well, the reality is that Mercurio's was the absolute best decision, worry free and totally worth every penny. They stand by their products and the work done by well trained people. I have no concerns about my elderly mother staying cool in summer and warm in winter. Thank you Mercurio's and to each and every one of your excellent staff. They are the best!!!

They did a great job. They contacted the renter directly, set up a convenient time with his busy schedule, sent me (the owner) the invoice directly by email and signed me up for yearly reminders to have the furnace serviced again. From the time I called until the time the service was completed and the invoice was sent was approximately 3 days. Great, fast, friendly service.

The technician was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and thorough. I have no complaints whatsoever about the work that was done, or even the cost. When the repair was complete, I was asked if I would prefer receiving my invoice/receipt by e-mail, which was fine. However, after a few days of not seeing this in my e-mail, I called the office. I was told it would be sent. After two more calls over 10 days, I received the invoice by regular mail, which was also fine, but the paperwork only showed the $20 discount, tax, and total cost. I wrote a letter asking if it would be possible to get paperwork with a breakdown of costs for the part and labor. I haven't heard back. In all fairness, I had been told beforehand over the phone what the approximate costs for the repair, inspection, and part would be, but I would have preferred to also have this information on the invoice for my records.. *****UPDATE: On April 28, 2014, Mercurio's Heating and A/C contacted me and emailed me the detailed invoice I had requested. I really appreciate the quick response to a minor concern!

It went seamlessly. Everything was done on time. Took only a day to install. Everyone was professional.

We purchased both a heat pump and a furnace from the owner several years ago. The entire staff are very personable and professional. They take the time to explain what they are doing and ways to keep the system perform at peek efficiency.

The price was competitive and service was outstanding. I am currently planning to replace a fireplace insert purchased from Mercurio's almost 20 years ago. The insert has served well and still works. The style is somewhat dated. In October I got and estimate from them. I plan to use them again if the appropriate insert is available.

They came out when they said they would. They cleaned up after themselves. You couldn’t tell they’ve been there. It took about 2 days and they told me exactly what was going to happen and that’s what happened. I was really happy how they treated us and the work that they did. I’m not sure they are the cheapest. They did really well. I would recommend them.

I found Mercurio's on Angie' List, called to schedule a diagnostics visit, they had a tech dispatched to the property within hours and had corrected the problem the same day at a reasonable cost for my property owner. I will without a doubt be adding Mercurio's to my list of companies to call on a regular basis. Great job, thanks.

The service was excellent. I found Mercurio's on Angie's List several years ago and they have helped me out on several occasions. Each time they have been prompt, friendly and very helpful. Each time what I needed was accomplished. This time I had a motor on my furnace that had to be replaced. They helped me in the past service it, but we knew it was eventually going to have to be replaced. That day came on New Years Day. I attempted to resolve the issue myself and it didn't work. I left them a message that evening and got a call first thing on the 2nd. They were at my place that afternoon. The part was ordered and they were able to come back on the first day I was available. They always try and work with my work schedule. The follow up service was quick and everything worked great the first time. Jeff is one of the service technicians. He is always professional, in a good mood and willing to answer even ( I am sure ) some of the dumbest questions. Always with a smile. He is always on time and even available early at times. He calls ahead and makes sure it is convenient. I would absolutely recommend them.

Frank, the electrician, was an extremely capable and pleasant young man. He was working around a very tight schedule, but kept us informed as to when he would arrive and then return with required items for the kitchen job. He was respectful of our house and removed his shoes before entering. We were pleasantly surprised at the reasonable price for work done. We would most definitely recommend Mercurio's Electrical Service. If have future need for electrical work, we would use Mercurio's service again and specifically ask for Frank to perform necessary work.

The work itself is fine, it's functional. I was disappointed with the amount of debris left on top of and around the hot water tank--which is in a hall closet inside the home. I vacuumed that up. My husband checked the work on the roof and found a few nails and garbage left at the worksite. Happy it's done, the work was cheap, disappointed to see they didn't clean up after themselves. That's a B-

These guys were great! My furnace broke down on a Tuesday and I was taking bids from several companies. Everyone was telling me a week to get a new furnace in. These were the guys that said if I went with them, they could have the furnace in the next day, which was a Saturday. They were true to their word. The installers were very respectful of my house and did their best to keep my place as clean as possible (my furnace is in my crawl space). They checked in with me afterwards to make sure everything was working correctly. I would use them again in a heart beat.

They were patient with several questions about system and pricing. Offered several quotes for consideration. Came when they scheduled and were thorough in explanation about installation and how to use programming on new thermostat. Also responsive to post installation concerns. Would use them again.

No quote in 2 days. Then I called the office, then his cell phone, he claimed he had problems with my email address. He was not prepared at the time of the call, and we agreed to talk later. Then I got his answering service twice. Sent an email to the company so they would have the correct email address. No response. Once I finally spoke with him, he had rescheduled the start & finish days without consulting me. Those dates did not work, but he was able to have the ducts torn out on the original date and the new ducts installed 2 weeks later. During the demolition, it felt & sounded like a major earthquake. The finished job looks good, not great (some duct covers were torn) but the basement is now a disorganized mess. On 11/22/13 they phoned me requesting I delete one of my comments and I did so. Just noticed, during basement remodel project, that one vent had not been re-connected. I will discuss this with them later this week.

Repair technician seemed to know his stuff. Found the problem with the A/C but recommended due to cost and age of the A/C (20 years) that we replace it. He also pointed out a serious crack in the 26 year old gas furnace noting it would cause failure in the near future. He closed up all his work and didn't push us to use them for the new heat pump. I asked them to contact me for an estimate. Mercurio's gave us a free estimate from for a heat pump/furnace solution to replace our gas furnace and electrical A/C. Their price was competitive and the gentleman that came by to complete the estimate was impressive. We ended up going with a company recommended by co-workers that had a higher efficiency furnace included. Mercurio's was our 2nd choice.

Wow so impressed with Hank. I called at least 10 electricians on Angieslist at 4pm to try to find an electrician to come out right away. Mercurio responded immediately and had Hank call me as he was on his way home for the night. Hank went out of his way to come out fix my problem and at a very reasonable price. Very polite and professional. So impressed with this company and will absolutely use them again and again!

I called him in the middle of the winter, and he came and replaced it. He did a good job, and he was reasonable. They took out the old one and put in a new one. He has done my furnace as well, in the past. They suggested two different types of water heaters, and the problem had to be dealt with right away. The quality and responsiveness were good.
