Description of Work: This was a plumbing check. The provider was at the end of their window for arrival after 5. I had wanted a system check which I purchase and an estimate. Service personnel did not know about the purchased deal and what was covered. It was late he deferred to others as he did perform estimates. I had schedule an estimate. I can not remember how long I waited for a second appt. I provided the two service personnel a copy of the deal. I got everything done on the second visit.

Description of Work: They were very professional and patient as I was on a phone call most of their visit. The service was for a hot water heater flush and plumbing inspection. They left me with a written list of recommendations I could/should follow-up on.

Description of Work: The tech sort of drained my water heater, but it never really drained because he has the cold water on the whole time he has the drain open. He then told me my water heater was beyond it's useful life and should be replaced with one of theirs. I should have know better, but service was total waste of money.

Description of Work: They did an inspection of our plumbing. He stated that he would give us an estimate of items that needed to be replaced and we never heard back from him.

Description of Work: I had Hunt's come out for the $59 plumbing inspection special with a water heater flush. |Punctuality: The first appointment had to be rescheduled but Hunts was able to make the second appointment (they were extremely busy at the time with all their employees working 16 hour days to keep up with the workload - often 7 days a week). The water heater wouldn't drain which turned into needing a new water heater and I asked to have a water leak inspected. This turned into a new water line (expected) a lateral re-pipe (somewhat expected) and a furnace replacement (we had an old octopus coal burner that had been converted to gas and wanted to get an estimate on replacing it). There were a couple of missed appointments during the scheduled work and some unexpected gotchas (like we had no water 1 night because the person who was going to run the new water line couldn't come until a day after originally planned - and the replacement of the furnace took about a week longer than expected. Rich worked a couple extra days the first weekend to get the new ductwork in but still didn't have enough time to complete the work and he was scheduled out all the following week and couldn't make it back until the following Friday). The furnace replacement took about a week longer than expected due to scheduling issues and the work taking much longer than expected. |Price: I had got a 2nd quote for the repipe which was significantly lower than the original estimate from Hunts but they matched the price (saved ~$6k). |Professionalism: Both teams (plumbing and heating) were courteous, up front about the challenges and respectful of our need to stay within a budget. The plumbing guys did a great job on the PEX repipe and it was definitely needed (the old water line completely blew out when they attached it to the new plumbing - glad we didn't hook the new line to existing plumbing and then have the old pipes INSIDE the house blow out). I was told abatement would be included in the furnace replacement but instead they just ripped out the old piping and moved the old furnace in an hour or so with the windows open for ventilation (as opposed to hooking up a negative air machine to rule out any possibility of releasing asbestos into the air). The PEX repipe is great and Hunts added a 3rd outside faucet - though they didn't secure the existing faucet on one side of the house.

Description of Work: My pest service company told me about a slow leak in the crawl space and that it appeared to be the flow regulator that required a plumber to service. The serviceman came out on time and had the part on the truck to repair the leaking regulator. And, it turned out to be something that we didn't even notice was not working correctly until the new part was installed and the change in the water pressure was considerably stronger!
