They responded quickly to my call. They called at 5:30, the scheduled time of arrival. Their truck was broken down about 1/4 mile from my house. They had called a tow truck and were not going to be able to fix my problem today. We arranged to have the repairs done the next day. To my surprise they showed up about 6:30 and worked until 9:00. They repaired the original problem and a couple of other problems that were threatening to break soon. They went out of their way to repair my problem the same day even though it was late and dark. They were very professional and pleasant. They discussed and explained everything as they did the work. They explained the need for a future examination of my 45 year old pipes to prevent further problems. I will definitely call them to do this and for any new problems in the future.

The plumber was personable but spent more time (a lot of time) communicating about potential future work. That would have been fine if he had completed all of the items the deal included - but he did not. Visit from a plumber -yes Replacement of fill valve (he replaced the flapper) - yes Adjustment of tank water levels - yes Adjustment of flush timing - not sure Dye testing for leaks - nope Observation of the static water pressure (he opened the tap in the bathroom) - yes? Exercising and inspecting all emergency shut off vales for proper function - nope Checking washing machine hoses - nope Inspecting water-heater operation and supply - not sure, perhaps a cursory glance Cleaning all aerators - nope This was an expensive visit to have a flapper replaced and definitely not worth the $79 I paid. If all of the items on the deal had been completed/performed and then discussions regarding potential future work had taken place perhaps I would think differently.

Had a clog that needed someone to clear out immediately as it was causing water to overflow in the dishwasher and the excess water started to leak into the downstairs room. The plumber came within a few hours, on time and took care of the problem quickly.

They called us en route to tell us they were on their way and showed up on time. They were pleasant, polite and professional. Josh was very good at explaining everything and answering our questions. His helper appeared competent as well. They did an excellent job with both replacement. We felt their prices were high

Everything worked out extremely well. The young man who was here was very competent, professional, and nice. He presented himself professionally and represented his company very well. It turned out to be a lot bigger deal than we expected, but they did not try any bait and switch. They did exactly what they said they were going to, arrived on time, and we were very impressed with them. They did the work very well and we are extremely happy with the service.

The Angie's List Big Deal was definitely a great deal for me because I had so many questions and Josh took the extra time to explain and demonstrate. I greatly appreciated his patience and respectful attitude in helping me to understand simple things like, for example, where to shut off the water to the house and that this funny-looking, t-bar thing I'd had in the garage was the tool to use to do it (I didn't know any of this); and how to tell on the meter if you've got a leak. Throughout the appointment, Josh was very professional, neat, efficient and knowledgeable. I rated 'Price' at a 'B' because I thought the $350 for the under-sink plumbing might be a bit high, but I really don't know. If this is a good price then the rating needs to be different. I had wanted this done for several years though, and together with the time and patience for other things, and things I learned, I feel it all basically worked out well. Would I use this company again? Thinking about how well I felt things went, I will definitely consider them, but I will get several bids.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was very good. It was an excellent service call. It's nice to have somebody we really trust now. They called us an hour ahead of time. The Big Deal was great and I think it worked out great for the company too because we will certainly call them when we have plumbing issues.

I was very pleased with the service. The technician was on time and did the work as promised. Additionally, he was friendly and knowledgeable, and I appreciated his advice on some other plumbing issues.

The appointment was originally scheduled for this week. I may have written it down wrong. We rescheduled for next week. They seem very prompt and fine so far.

Hunts Plumbing And Mechanical LLC fixed the issue and there is no longer leakage. They were clean, friendly, and professional. I am satisfied with the services performed.

It was okay. I thought they were really expensive. They charged by the job and not by hour. They charged me $250 for the faucet. They charged me about $125 for the labor of the toilet flusher. It was confusing getting an appointment. I called them and talked to the guy there. He said they charge extra to come across the bridge because there is toll. They called the night before or the day of service to verify everything. I didn’t get the message. I called them to reschedule, but I wasn’t able to get ahold of anyone. They ended up being 4 hours late for the original appointment. It actually worked out better that he was late, but they didn’t contact me so I thought I missed them. I showed them a coupon for maintenance. He knew about the coupon so he discounted my bill. I thought they would do the total price of the coupon though. The guy was super nice, but I probably won’t use them again.

They did good. Everything was fine. It probably only took an hour. It didn’t take very long which was great. They were here on time and did what they said they’d do. I’m very pleased. The price was reasonable.

When they came out to do the inspection, they informed us that we would need new toilets. The cost to purchase and install the toilets was $1,300.00. This did not solve our issue with our toilets leaking. They came back out to see what was going on with the new toilets and wrote up an estimate for $11,000.00. I had contacted a friend, whom is a contractor. He looked at the toilets and advised me that I needed to double seal the toilets since I had installed new tile in the bathrooms. He fixed the seals on both toilets for $80.00 and this resolved our issue with the leaking toilets. I would not recommend this service provider to anyone; they seem to be selling their products rather than their service.

He found some things that I am going to have him work on at a later date. He is going to give me a credit back on the additional work because I purchased a Big Deal. He asked if it was okay if he added $10 to the Big Deal price because he had to pay a bridge crossing toll to get to my home. I wasn’t very pleased with that. They were very close to us. No other company has ever charged us that kind of fee and a lot of companies do have to cross that bridge to get to us. It wasn’t that big of a deal, I just wish he would have included the bridge fee in the original cost. However, my overall experience was good. They were really responsive. He contacted me about my Big Deal purchase which was nice.

It was a very good experience. He was very thorough.

Noticed a large amount of water pooling from the heat pump. I called Hunt's Plumbing. Jason showed up within the hour and replaced the faulty parts. We bought this house 6 months ago and it's been a nightmare. We were sold a true "Money Pit." We feel so fortunate that we found Hunt's Plumbing when we first moved in. Jason does exceptional work. Hunt's Plumbing & Mechanical is always prompt and the pricing is fair, and there are never any surprises on cost. Hunt's Plumbing is our permanent service company for any and all of our heating and plumbing needs!

I purchased the 79.00 deal. Owner responded via email the same evening. Memorial day weekend was approaching so service was scheduled for the day after Memorial day. (I think it would have been sooner if not for the holiday). Arrived on time,wore booties. Fixed toilet, checked water pressure, visual inspection of water heater.

It was time for me to get a new hot water heater because my old one was VERY old. Still was able to heat water, but it was well beyond it's life expectancy ....in fact, it was already starting to leak. So, rather than wait for a much bigger problem to occur, I contacted my home warranty provider and they sent out a plumber who verified that my hot water heater was leaking. Due to the nature of my home warranty, I would be responsible for the vast majority of the replacement cost.. I decided to check with one of the major home improvement companies in the area and discovered that even though they had a sign posted in their store by the hot water heaters that the "basic cost to install a hot water heater" would be $X, by the time all the extras.......which were ALL needed to install the hot water heater in my home.......were added in, my total responsibility was within $1 of the price quoted me by the plumber associated with my home warranty company. IT WAS AS IF THEY WERE WORKING OFF THE SAME PRICING SCHEDULE!!!! Since I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Jason Hunt regarding my furnace, I asked if he wanted to come over to my home, take a look at my hot water heater, and give me a bid on replacing it. WITHOUT KNOWING THE PRICES QUOTED ME BY THE PLUMBER ASSOCIATED WITH MY HOME WARRANTY COMPANY, AND WITHOUT KNOWING HOW MUCH TO TOTAL COST WOULD BE IF I WENT WITH THE LARGE HOME IMPROVEMENT STORE, JASON WAS ABLE TO COME UP WITH A PRICE THAT SAVED ME OVER $100.00. We made an appointment 2 weeks from the bid date, and the day before the appointment Jason called to confirm. On the morning of the day of the appointment, Jason and Aaron came out to my house "first thing." As was the case before, the truck they came in was super clean and great looking. Both Jason and Aaron had nice, clean, matching uniforms on which were embroidered. Not only WERE they professionals....they LOOKED professional.....and the arrived in a vehicle that made me feel like I was being taken car of my people who know what they are doing and who plan to be around for a long time. Jason and Aaron expertly hooked up my hot water heater, installed the necessary "code" upgrades, and carted away the old hot water heater and were finished before noon. So, AGAIN I was extremely satisfied with Hunt's plumbing and mechanical! .....and it appears as if others have "got the word" about the way Jason operates. He has now hired an answering service, has obtained a new truck, and is getting ready to send out a plumber on calls too. He has also started advertising on the radio. Still, his overhead is low, and he acts like he appreciates getting the work.....BECAUSE HE DOES APPRECIATE GETTING THE WORK AND APPRECIATES REPEAT CUSTOMERS. So, for me, Hunt's plumbing and mechanical is MY preferred plumber, and I encourage all my friends and family members to let Jason be their plumber of choice......because as his motto states: "your problem doesn't stand a chance."

From my initial call to the moment Brian, the service technician, left my house it was a very positive experience. Everyone I worked with was professional, courteous and conscientious. They gave me an appointment time in the afternoon but were able to make it to my house in the a.m. My water heater is fixed and I can go about my day knowing that that it was a job done well. It all went perfectly. They were able to come out either the same day or the next day. They explained how they would put the faucet in. It required a small cut out in our garage wall. They did an excellent job. Our faucet no longer leaks and no longer makes a loud vibrating noise. We were very happy to find a company that we could trust and feel confident with. We are using them again this month for a general check up on our heat pump. I would recommend them without any hesitation.

They are the most competent plumbers that we have ever had over to the house. They were not able to schedule us right away. I think after we purchased the big deal it was 5 days before they could come out. There were extra charges for extra services beyond the deal. They figured out the leak pretty quickly. They were knowledgeable and they were fast. They were willing to explain exactly what was going on in great detail and I appreciated that. I was quite happy with them. They arrived right when they said they would and they were very professional. I will use them again.

Called Hunts Plumbing of Wednesday July 3 to report discovery of water damage of floor in closet and signs of drywall water stains. Also signs of leaking water through sub-floor to crawl space. Hunts had a technician (Brain) at the house on Friday July 5th by 9 in the morning to do an inspection. Brain provided a quick assessment and estimate of what needed to be done to replace the sections of copper pipe to determine exactly where the leak was coming from. The work was done with a high degree of professionalism and in a very short amount of time. It was found that there was a pin size hole that had developed in a section of the hot water line at a point where the pipe went through the sub-floor. Brain explained that imperfections in medal properties of copper can result in weak areas of copper pipes developing small holes over a period of time under pressure. If I had not done an inspection of the crawl space the leak would have continued until the water damage in the closet spread out to the hallway. By then the damage would have been significant. Hunts Plumbing is certainly customer oriented and very knowledgeable of plumbing regardless of the age of the home. Contacting them using Angie's list results in a good discount as well.

Tried to do the job myself but ran into problem with copper line. Called and talked with Jason and he was close so came to the house within 20 minutes. Cut the copper line and set new valve and finished hooking up the toilet. After the job was complete he even checked the water pressure for the house. Quick, excellent, professional work. I will recommend Hunts Plumbing to friends.
