I originally took advantage of an Angie's List coupon for plumbing work. I needed 3 replacement faucets installed. Jason, owner of Hunt's Plumbing, contacted me via email to schedule an install date. He arrived on time and professionally installed the 2 new bathroom fixtures that I had purchased. However, he was unable to install the kitchen faucet because I had not received the necessary face plate for the sink that was needed to correctly install the faucet. (Who knew they didn't automatically come with the faucet? Live and learn!) So Jason had to come again, but by the time he came the next week I had purchased a whole new kitchen sink! My was shallow and cheap, so I bought a stronger, deeper sink with 2 different size bowls. Jason and his partner experienced some difficulties installing the sink, but soon had it ,my new disposal (another upgrade) and my beautiful new faucet perfectly installed. I rate Hunt's Plumbing as an A+ on every level of satisfaction. Jason was a good sport about having to travel from Tacoma to Shoreline and he was always friendly, instructive, professional and helpful. I recommend them highly for all your plumping needs. Great guy...great company!

Everything went very well. They were timely, professional, and we were pleased with the service they provided.

Josh & another individual arrived & I explained what was happening and Josh immediately begin to hunt for the source of the leak and located it rather quickly. Both individuals were very professional & informative;the only thing I'm not sure about was my overall cost ($287.05 check + $119.00 Credit Card charge)I thought was a bit high. I do not feel I really got a deal by buying this deal at $119.00 for a $200.00 discount that when it's all said and done, only equal to $81.00, minus the $59.00 service charge = $22.00. But in all fairness to Hunts Plumbing, I haven't had to call for plumbing service in over 6 yrs, so I'm not sure what the competitive rate/charge is for the type of job & services rendered.

Jason was punctual and very professional when he came to give us an estimate. We couldn't get our numbers to match up so he referred us to another plumber. Great guy and would recommend his company in a heartbeat.

Finally a company who actually responds quickly and completely to an info request and sends out a crew just as fast. I emailed photos of current laundry setup (existing plumbing for washer only), got an approx quote within a day and on the following had a courteous and communicative pair (Josh & Scott) on site. Final quote was 15% higher than early estimate, and pretty reasonable at that considering the complexity. Team was actually available to do the job that day (unexpected bonus) despite it being estimated as a 6hr + job. Boy did they earn every cent. Provided with a prefab Ikea laundry sink cabinet and new faucets for the laundry and kitchen the team started work around 1pm and were done with the work area left tidy by 10.15pm on a Friday night after a complicated install. Very impressed with their communication as to plumbing element functions, as well as when many routing and cabinet fit options / obstacles inherent to an older home presented themselves during install.

The job they performed was very high quality! Jason was always punctual and returned my phone calls within one business day which is something you don't see very much anymore. He was extremely informative and honest when answering my questions. Also, we needed the job to be done quickly within the week and they were able to fit us without any issues. On the day of the job, they were very professional and punctual. Without a doubt, I would highly recommend this company and will not hesitate to use them again in the future!

Hunt's showed up on time and was very nice. He took a lot of time for the ($119.00) special on Angie's list. He went under the house twice and we (he and I) finally came to the conclusion that it only leaked when standing in the shower. He then told me it was probably the mortar under the shower and it would be approximately $650 to fix. After a couple of weeks, I got back on Angie's list and really did some reading. After reading many reviews, I called JM plumbing. I told him on the phone what was going on. He asked if I had a tiled shower. I don't, I have a one-piece fiberglass shower. He then told me I would not have mortar for a shower like mine. He said he could do it for $100. He came out today, fixed it within 30 minutes and charged me $100. I now have a plumber for life.

They were really professional and very nice. They came when they said they would and had no problems doing the job. They found that I have quest valves that do cause problems and recommend that I replace all ten in my house, which are $107 each. I got more more bids and found a different plumber on Angie's list that will do the work for less ( which I will use, since I need ten of them). The other bid was more - that's why I said price was good, but not excellent.

When they arrived to complete the work, both workers wore footies over their shoes before coming in the front door, and they layed plastic over my carpet everywhere from the laundry closet where the water heater dwells to the front door to protect my floors. The replacement was done as quickly and quietly as possible even though there was copper pipe that got welded and gave off a little smoke. When the smoke alarms alerted, the workers opened a cross breeze to solve the problem and keep from disturbing my neighbors with any more smoke alarm alerts. They cleaned up after their job and it looked cleaner than before they came. When the city inspector arrived to sign off, he said, "wow this is the first one of these where the plumber did everything we require on the first visit" I thought, well its amazing how much time is saved in unnecessary inspection visits when there is open communication from the start of the project! I am so happy with the work that was completed and the customer service that was extended. I'm actually surprised that Hunt's plumbing is something like the dozenth plumbing company I have seen working at my Condos and find it amazing that Josh was the first to alert us to a pressure issue in the building up-slope from mine. Are no other companies doing their due-diligence before completing the work? I feel confident that the work was done fully and correctly; I will recommend Hunt's Plumbing to any of my friends, family, fellow condo-owners, and anyone else I talk to that needs plumbing work!

This was an Angie's List special where we got $200 worth of service for $119. Josh came on time and I described the problem with a leaking shutoff valve (I could not shut off the water completely. There was not any dripping from the valve). The problem with one toilet was that it was noisy when flushed. The second toilet had a handle that needed to be held down for it to flush completely. Jason indicated that he could repair the two toilets, but the cost would only be $100 or so less than just replacing them. We decided to replace the toilets since they were original with the house contractor grade, and clogged occasionally. Jason did the work. He was at the house from 3 until nearly 8 PM. I haven't had plumbing done for several years, so was shocked at the price. The first toilet was $695. The second was $542. They were Kohler brand. After the work was done, we needed to replace the sheetrock in front of the shutoff valve.

Arrived on time, very professional. Got to work right away. the faucet was not easily accessible so he suggested a better method. We agreed and he did evrything necessary to make it right even though it was a not an easy replacement. called me when the work was done and I am happy with the quality of the faucet, clean work, nice guy.

Jason called to say he could make it late the next day, and then was able to come out between 1-1:30. He said there would be a $59 charge. I said fine, and he came out and diagnosed the problem and improved the pump setup, having everything working in 30 mins. The total charge was $65. I'm very pleased with the work done.

New faucet was installed by my husband. Water leak under sink prompted plumbing services which I wanted to get done prior to going out of town for a week. When plumber arrived, I explained the problem and asked if he thought the faucet was installed correctly and he said it was. He worked under the sink for a bit and fixed the leak...or so I thought. He did an inspection and suggested that "sooner or later" we should think about replacing all water valves in the house with "1/4 turn" valves. He did state that the leak repair was not under warranty because he did not install the faucet. I found that rather odd but like I said, I thought the leak was fixed. He did an inspection and gave me a quote on what he "suggested" having done. While out of town, I was notified that the leak is back. I called Hunt's Plumbing on Sept 26 and explained my situation. The woman said all Techs were out but one would be calling me by Friday the 27th. I have not received a call yet. After reading the invoice just now, the plumber stated he made the proper adjustments FOR NOW until valves are replaced. I was never told that the repair was "temporary" nor that the problem would not be fixed unless the valves were replaced. I would have gladly paid to have the leak fixed permanently. I will be looking for another plumbing company since there wasn't any response to my phone call. UPDATE: Received a phone call from Jason (the owner) @ 8:15 am on Monday morning regarding the review I submitted the night before. I explained the negative review and after an exchange of information, he said he would personally come out to fix the leak. Jason and another plumber showed up as scheduled and I also told him that there was hardly any water pressure coming from the kitchen faucet. Jason immediately assessed the problems, repaired and replaced what was necessary and guess what? No more leak! Jason then informed me that the service call and work done was free of charge which was the icing on the cake. Jason, thank you for taking the time out and personally overseeing the situation. I WILL be using your company in the near future as well as referring my family and friends.

The plumbers arrived 30 minutes late but were in contact the whole time. They were able to diagnose the problem within an hour, and implement a fix within another hour. The cost to diagnose was $200, and another $119 to seal the fixtures. The one caveat is that there is a $59 "dispatch fee" for them to show up, even when the service is scheduled over a week in advance. This takes away a lot of the value of the $200-for-$119 deal available on AngiesList. Also, the first I heard of it was at the very end of the service when they gave me an invoice. That seems a little shady. Overall, I would recommend them for someone who is in a hurry for quality work and can pay for it. I'd be careful to ask about all fees ahead of time, though.

The plumber did not show up as scheduled and I did not receive a phone call telling me he was going to be late, etc. When I finally did call to ask where he was, I just got excuses for why he was not there.

Excellent and professional service and I would hire him again. A+ service!

He came right on time, did the work in great time, was friendly and polite.

They fixed a leaky faucet fix. It was ok. They fixed a leak under 2 sinks. They charged me additionally to come out. A $60 surprise I wasn't expecting.

Little concerned they had our location and stated, "we have to charge an additional $79 + the $88 we already paid since it's out of our normal area". So my question is, why did they take the order than call to advise of the this? They also promised a call back that never materialized to possible negotiating; there will be none as I agreed to Angie's listed price per Hunts ad and no more. Very discouraged.

Servicemen was very polite and thorough wrote up the things that we discussed and answered questions.

The work is not completed but they he has done a wonderful job. Jason was really efficient and very respectful. Jason has coordinated well with another company who is doing work for me. He also worked well with my insurance company. It has been a good experience and very easy.

. Josh described that the problem of slow flushing was due to the hard water clogging holes and the age of the toilet. I was offered a credit of $125 for having a new toilet installed. Since I had previously missed a Big Deal for a toilet replacement, I agreed. Trying to stay out of Josh's way (the toilet was in the second floor bathroom) I did not take a look at the toilet before it was installed. I should have, so I accept some blame. However, since all my other fixtures are beige, I should have been made aware of the new toilet being white. Not so good. It does work well, though

it went well. The plumber was on time and fix it less than 30 minutes. price is fairly reasonable.

Discovered burst pipe due to water coming into family room. Pipe was part of a spigot mounted to an outside wall, and the connected pipe only leaked when the spigot was turned on.Called Hunts and they dispached a plumber immediately. Because it was inside of a wall, the repair required some extra effort to access. Plumber did everything he could to hold down costs while competing a thorough repair. This reqired a couple of return visits. Plumber was always punctual, friendly, willing to explain every aspect of his repair, and he did a good job.

The personnel were very knowledgeable and professional.I had requested the service because I had several concerns regarding the plumbing in my rental. It was built in the late 1800's and the plumbing is a mix of new and old pipes. It turned out that one of my major concerns was not truly a problem, and I was very grateful that he did not do the work I requested because it was unnecessary. He provided me information on alternatives available to repair an outside spigot and to reduce the accumulation of water in my basement. I truly appreciated the information he provided so that I had a better understanding of my system and potential problems.
