Replaced hose bib & fixed bathtub faucet they did a great job .

It went very well. Everyone was professional, timely, and easy to work with. They tested the furnace and determined the mother board was firing up the furnace. Replaced right away, tested, and performaned the maintenance on the furnace. They also adjusted my fresh air intake which should reduce my bill each month. All in all a good experience.

Jason is great. Punctual, professional and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond what we needed and gave us many options reasonably priced in order for us to make the best choice for us. We live about 1.5 away and he came out on a Saturday and spent most of his day here getting the work done. We appreciated his flexibility in scheduling. Overall, we love Hunt's Plumbing & Mechanical. We already have a list of new projects we're going to ask for a new estimate from Jason.

These guys are great. I bought the Big Deal for a home heater tune-up and they were very responsive sending me messages and answering my questions before they came out. They showed up on time and they were clean and courteous. Jason and his guy thoroughly checked the heater and gave me some feedback, but didn't try to upsell me on anything. They also checked my water pressure and found it to be way too high. Good find. I will definitely use them again. Highly recommended on all fronts.

It went great, Jason was very good showed me what he did and what needed to be done and gave me a list and estimate on what needed to be done. I was able to make a copy and sent the estimate to my landlord.

Two guys came and they were very thorough. They checked the prior maintenance history and said the system had been repaired a lot but it was in good working condition. They especially checked the heat exchange as that is a part that commonly breaks down. He answered questions and I had a lot of them. He suggested getting someone to look at the fireplace as that is not his field of expertise. I will call them again next year and I will call them with any issues.

Jason and Aaron provided exceptional service. We received six estimates prior to theirs, and although Hunts' estimate was slightly higher, they did a more thorough job in their inspection and measuring prior to giving their estimate, including a review of the specifications of our stove. Hunts was the only one that asked about the details of the new stove. They also provided a 10% Angie's List discount which nearly offset the difference in cost from the others. Our estimate was on November 19 and the work was scheduled for December 5. On the day of the job, they arrived just before they said they would (which was perfect for us) and completed the job well in time for the inspector's visit that morning, two and a half hours later (the inspector said they did a great job as well, and there were no issues). The day they did the work was a pretty cold one (22° F) and they made every effort to keep the doors to the house closed as much as possible, including the door to our closet which led to the crawlspace. They were very clean, friendly, polite, fast and thorough. Again, I was most impressed with their service and will definitely keep their card handy for any future plumbing needs.

Jason came out on time with Aaron and together they were very professional and helped me get to know the workings of my furnace better and also explained how by connecting my circulating fan thru my thermostat could help evenly heat my house and cut down on my heating bills.

Jason and an assistant called 30 minutes before they came. The appointment had been set up on Angie's list by email for the morning of the 3rd. They asked me to turn down the furnace, and proceeded to check and clean the burners and igniter. Jason said the resistance he measured for the igniter was higher than normal, about 130 ohms rather than 70 ohms. This usually means the igniter is about to fail, but he said ours looked OK and he didn't recommend replacing it. He asked about the control for the furnace vent. It was disconnected. He didn't recommend reconnecting it and said that in his experience about 3/4 of them are disconnected because either the control or the damper didn't work. He was not familiar with the humidifier we have on the furnace. The humidifier isn't working. He volunteered to study up on that humidifier and get back to us. I declined. Both Jason and his assistant were very polite, and there was no pressure to buy additional services. Since the cleaning and checkup were an Angie's list special, there were no additional charges.

Two very nice folks from Hunt's plumbing came out at somewhat short notice (I think it was the next day), and fixed my blocked kitchen drain pipe. They did a pretty good job with what turned out to be a somewhat tough job. They first snaked it with a hand-cranked snake. When that didn't work, they brought in the heavy duty massive equipment that got to the plug much further down the pipe. They did a very good job of explaining what they were doing at all times. They were clean (they used booties over their shoes, and rubber gloves.) They were courteous, and well organized. A few concerns that would make me not repeat: 1. They tried to upsell me pretty strongly. It's entirely possible that it was an appropriate recommendation (a new garbage disposal, a new P-trap, a new overflow valve, etc.), but they laid it on so thick that I was a bit turned off. 2. They didn't properly tighten part of the pipe when they reassembled everything, resulting in a very small drip on the floor of the under-sink cabinet. Fortunately I caught it just before they drove off, and got them to come back and fix it. Unfortunately, even after the return, they didn't fix it correctly, and it still drips. To be clear, it didn't drip before they came out, so it broke during their visit. 3. I felt their prices were very high, but the quality of their work was also good, so I suppose you can make your own mind up about pricing. Without the coupon, the price would be around $325; with the coupon, it was about $240 or so. To me, this seemed excessive for a clogged kitchen pipe.

Hunt's plumbing responded promptly to all of my emails to coordinate a suitable time for service. They called when they were delayed, but arrived in a reasonable about of time (about 20 minutes.) At first glance the issues that they billed for seemed straight forward, but was more complicated in the end. They stuck with the problem until it was fully resolved. They followed up for additional service when the repair needed another look. They worked efficiently, kept my house clean, put things back as they were, and were professional every step of the way.

At midday I realized that my furnace, while working, wasn't heating, and we were going to be having freezing temperatures for a night or two. I'd called Hunt's for a water plumbing issue previously and was very happy so, called them again for the furnace issue. They were able to juggle some things and came a short time later. In less than an hour they were able to take care of the furnace, expansion tank and talk with me about all of it. In both visits, I've found them professional, efficient and easy to talk to. Very important to me, they were informative and good at answering any and all of my assorted questions. Jason gave me a rundown account of the general condition of the furnace, asked me about my maintenance practices and told me what I should keep in mind. Also, I'd always covered my outdoor hose faucets while wondering if they were frost-free faucets. Jason explained that, yes, they were but, that they had been installed incorrectly and that I should keep using the frost-free covers until or, unless, I wanted them re-done correctly. I always learn something from this company and I do recommend them.

We didn't have heat. They came right away and found it was a blown fuse in our heat pump.It was quickly replaced and we had heat. I used them before in July. They did a maintenance check on our heat pump and furnace. And while they were there I asked about replacing a kitchen faucet. We had already purchased the faucet and they stayed and put it in. They also replaced some old valves under the sink. I thought it was nice of them to do this extra job. We used them another time too to replace an outside hose bib.We will us them again.

I only needed to have a hose bib replaced. They wanted to charge me an additional $60 just to replace a hose bib with a $65 dispath fee included! Out of pocket, I would have had to pay a total of about $185. This price was outrageous! It is a 20-30 minute job to fix the issue. I feel like they are trying to recover the price that the job would have cost without the deal! The receptionist on the phone was very courteous and polite. I was also interested in having a back flow valve replaced, but they said they don't have the proper personnel to complete that type of job. I was disappointed with the Big Deal and extra costs.

Did our house and my daughters house. Came on time, wore booties in the house. Gave my daughter good information about her furnace which is under her house.. Were professional, clean and very informative. I would call them again without any question.

Fabulous! I had a toilet that was dripping. So I called to have them change the service lines, check the seal around the toilet and change mechanics of the toilet. He had new toilet in his truck so after talking with Josh; I made the decision to just install a new one. When he pulled it, the previous owner had tile installed and of course they did not set the toilet properly. Josh and Scott fixed it! They were quick, clean and very professional! Thanks guys!

Our furnace had stopped responding to the thermostat settings over the weekend. We contacted Hunt's on Sunday, 11/17, through Angie's list. Even though they let us know they were technically "booked" until next week (11/25), when we told them we were relying on only our gas fireplace for heat, Jason worked us in that 2nd day (11/19)...he and his partner called 1/2 hour before their arrival to let us know they were on their way, arrived right on time, thoroughly inspected our furnace and thermostat system...reconnected the thermostat (as the wiring had come loose) then ran the furnace for an extended length of time to make sure it was responding...then he also took the time to show us how to set the thermostat (as we had never been given an instruction booklet when we moved in)...they were soooo friendly and very, very professional! It's so nice to have our heater back, especially with these frigid days approaching...Happy happy!! Thank you Jason!!! Jason arrived on time after calling 30 minutes before to let me know he was on his way. He arrived within the window of time he had provided. He serviced both my furnace and heat pump. He also noticed a separate issue with my hot water tank and went over that with me. He had several good suggestions of things we could do to make our system more efficient but never tried to push me into agreeing to any other services. He was professional, worked quickly, and explained things well.

It turned out satisfactory. I had additional cost and I thought that it was high and I told them so. They went outside and made a phone call and they came back in and gave me a better price. They were very nice and pleasant people. They hooked up the new faucet backwards, I called them back and they came back right away and fixed it. I was disappointed in the price. I paid $119 for $200 worth of plumbing. He brought it down to $150. I provided the faucet, he provided the parts for the toilet. I was really shocked at the prices, once he brought it down in price, I did not feel so ripped off. When they left everything was working fine. I probably would not use them again.

Just bought the property, knew there were some plumbing issues, but did not expect it had to be taken cared of right away. We had no water in the house due to the leaky valve, called Hunt's Sunday morning, Jason called back within 15 minutes and was at our house within 1 hour after the call. He fixed the immediate issues and also checked a few other items, and even gave me part numbers for a few items I could replace myself to save a few dollars. Also checked our gas furnace, make sure we had no issues there. Very professional, very helpful - price was very reasonable.

I bought an Angie's List deal last Friday for Hunt's Plumbing, so that I could have a number of small projects handled. Jason contacted me on Tuesday (two business days from the date of my purchase), and came out today (Friday--just one week exactly after my purchase of the deal). He and his employee (whose name I have unfortunately forgotten!) showed up on time. They were both very nice and personable, and did great work. The faucet that I had purchased for the utility sink didn't quite fit, but they modified the piping so that it would work, and then installed it. The shower arm that they replaced was corroded and stuck (our house was built in 1948), which is why we didn't want to take on the project ourselves. They had no problems taking it out and putting in the new one. It turned out that we needed a new toilet handle, so Jason showed me exactly what to order from Amazon, and explained how we could easily replace it ourselves when it arrives. They re-grouted the kitchen sink at no additional charge. Although the company is based in Tacoma, they service the Seattle area (we live in Seattle). I will call them again for all of my plumbing needs.

It went just fine. They ended up doing a lot more than we didn't know we needed but were good. The plumber was really easy to work with; he came back and finished up what he needed to do and went through everything in our house with us.
