Hunt's Services

I was happy with the work done. Later I saw on Angie's List a cheaper quote for toilet replacement, but Hunt's was in line with other providers. They did not do what I would consider a complete plumbing inspection. They turned on some inside faucets and checked if we had earthquake bands on the water heater. When they arrived they asked what I wanted them to do; I had been expecting they would have a routine for testing various systems with dye or something. A few days later my water heater died and Hunt's squeezed me into their schedule to replace that. They are very responsive to the customer's needs.

I didn't realize until after he left that he charged me $179.61 for a couple of washers in shower handles. What I wanted was the actual valves pulled out and installed with new washers. I have done this myself before so I know whats involved in changing the valve washers. He was at our house for about 1/2 hr or so. He was on time and very polite. $179.00 59.00 dispatch fee 238.00 sub total 22.61 tax 260.61 total 200.00 Angie's deal 60.61 out of pocket plus $ 119 Angie's deal = $179.61

They informed my husband that they charge $60.00 service fee to come to our home. This wasn't mentioned in the coupon so we felt it was a hidden charge that we don't want to pay. We felt this was deceptive advertising.

I ended up with three different appointments wiht them. First visit was to try and figure out what the problem was. I had so much water under my house they couldn't even crawl under the house. Didn't charge me for the service call, but called a company that could pump out all the water for me. Ended up pumping out 700 gallons of water. Second visit made temporary repairs because they were swimming in mud and the smell was absolutely horrible. What I paid for the temporary fix was credited to the final repair. After a week of two fans blowing underneath 24/7 it was dry enough and the smell gone that they could do a permanent fix. Under the house is dry. No more smell. Very happy with the work performed. Aaron did a great job!

It could not have gone any better for us! They were quick and worked feverishly to get the drain unplugged. And they were very nice guys to top it off. Thank you, thank you!

From the first meeting Aaron was so comforting and informative. I just purchased this 1950's bungalow in University Place. I have had < NO JOKE> 5 different plumbing companies out here since I put in my bid to buy.They were rude and up selling even out right lying. Aaron is the greatest person as well as a honest plumber. His apprentice Josh is very accomplished also and will be a fabulous plumber under Aaron's direction.LADIES...LISTEN UP. call this company if you want to be treated with respect and unbelievable honesty. This company has great deal also 849.00 for water heater great price!!!I opted for there 10% off. I have done my research and this company literally rocked my world. In the best way possible. I will be having Hunts Plumbing back for other issues and I hope they stay around forever. Update: schedule mix up for finishing plumbing,answering service hung up on me twice when I was simply trying to ask if Plumbers were returning on Monday morning or afternoon. Called again and again and again Jason<owner> returned my call and stated apology for mixup. I'm expecting finishing plumbing today at noon.I understand this is the busy time of year. I am also willing to forgive mix up because I think this was truly a mix up. But Jason.... Lose the answering service!!I will post another update when work is completed today..... Update July 22. Aaron and Josh returned and finished up with my extensive plumbing issues. All went well. They showed work and explained what they were doing.Cleaned up after themselves and went on there way. Will be having them back to work out other plumbing issues. They will be returning Thursday for my 6th sewer scope. Update: Aaron returned as promised!! and I finally have a definitive answer for my sewer scope. It took about an hour to determine because there is a bad t in the line. Aaron was very thorough took the time to explain what I was looking at. Looked at other scopes I had done. It is such a pleasure to finally find a plumber that has the ability to communicate in customer service friendly way. I plan on having Hunts Plumbing back to put in garbage deposal and bigger lines to accommodate waste. But only if it's Aaron!

My AC unit is over 30 years old, so it was a challenge to figure out how it all works, but they did. I was impressed that they didn't try and sell me a new AC instead, they worked hard to fix the problem. There was a 10% off coupon for using Angie's list, which came in handy. Although when I started to write the review, there was a better one (same company). I will definitely call them again. I'm sure they were busy as the weather got hot so quickly and everyone else realized that their AC didn't work. I'm glad they were able to fit me in!

The plumbers arrived during the promised time frame. They did a very nice, clean job and took the replaced water heater and toilets with them. They worked hard, were efficiently and friendly.

Purchased deal, promptly called to set up service. The were able to make it out to the house within the week. Friendly tech gave us an air filter and was on his way within an hour.

Gil and his coworker (oh no, I forgot his name already!, sorry!) arrived on time and tried to clear out 45 years worth of grease with a snake, but it was really like trying to clear out a straw that is packed with Vaseline using a toothpick... anyways, they offered to hydrowash for $460.00 (with no guarantee of success due to the horrible nature of the outflow line), or replace the line with a new one for $600.00. Doesn't take an accountant to figure that one out... so, they scheduled to come back in a week to replace the line, which happened to be a holiday (4th of July). I was worried about extra cost but I was assured that there would be none, and there wasn't. They replaced the line, and even put in my garbage disposal which I had bought and sort of sprung on them when they arrived... they were happy to oblige, and were able to get that new disposer installed and fix a leak I didn't know I had as well. They arrived at 9am and were out of here by 11:30.. WOW, I thought for sure it would take all day! All in all, I am thrilled with the price, the service, the promptness and the professionalism. They were on time, didn't waste time, and GOT IT DONE! i can't even begin to tell you how wonderful it is to have a draining sink and a garbage disposal!!!!!! Thank you so much for your help, and support and coming out on the 4th of July to make my world rock!!! Never thought I'd be this happy over a plumbing job! I am going to use Hunts Plumbing again when I have my water shutoff moved to a more convenient location, as well as a new water line for a hose spigot.

Fantastic! Couldn't say enough good things about them. He called ahead of time and informed me when he would be here. He was extremely polite and professional, as well as upfront with the cost. He did a great great job!

It was great. He was very pleasant. He said the furnace was in good shape. He did what he needed to do. He was on time. The price was fair. I don't live in the same state so that is why I won't use them again.

I obtained three bids and Hunts Plumbing was right in the middle. I chose this company due to their reviews on Angie's List! I was very pleased with the crew, their timeliness, neatness, and their patience with lots of questions from me. The best part was that the job was done in a day with no damage to my driveway or yard thanks to the boring machine. Jason Hunt even stopped by the job and I was able to meet him and thank him. Brian & Josh were very professional and very knowledgeable along with prompt service. Brian was able to diagnose problem almost immediately. Brian and Josh worked well as a team to complete repairs quicker than I thought it would take; which shows their level of experience. Once repairs were done Brian referred us to a water restoration contractor due to the amount of water damage that was caused. Brian also tried his best to keep the pricing as low as possible which shows a caring attitude towards his customers. No plumber is cheap but we would be happy to pay for the service, professionalism and excellent work we received from Brian & Josh any time. A big thank you again to Brian & Josh. Also a big thank you to Hunt's Plumbing & Mechanical for employing quailty plumbers.

Aaron showed up with a new guy on time and did the work fast and well. Very courteous and knowledgeable. Will definitely use them in the future if any other plumbing issues arise.

I feel like the estimates given are high with the fact that it will only take an hour to do.

The technician showed up right at 9:00am sharp. He was courteous, knowledgeable and very friendly. He was able to fix my sink in about 30 minutes! I loved that! I will definitely call Hunt's Plumbing for another issue that I have. I highly recommend them.

It went great - he called the day before to confirm the appointment and offered to come earlier than the original appointment - which worked out great. He was at my door at 8 a.m. and done in about an hour. Explained what needed to be done in detail, was consistent with the quote I got over the phone and Angie List messages. I'm very pleased and will happily use them again. He also explained how the crack happened and what to do next winter to prevent it from happening again beyond insulation.

Great service and very pleased with everything except the price. Even using the $119 coupon for $200 worth of service the total bill was more then my attorney makes. I don't mind paying for service but really felt like I could not justify the cost if I need another repair in the future.
