Learned much from this inspection. Well worth the money. He was not pushy at all with selling me other services. He even spent extra time with me explaining options. Seemed very trustworthy.

They had miss schedule us and miss our original appointment. When I called they were very apologetic and schedule for a next day appointment. The plumber that came out was prompt and courteous. He fixed the faucet and also gave my husband some handy plumbing hints. They're rates were reasonable and we will use them again for future plumbing jobs.

I bought the deal and then they said they don’t service oil heaters. I had my money refunded.

Couldn't find the original leak at no fault of their own. They were very helpful and committed to the task. Didn't explain costs very well for that part of the visit. Said they would come back the next day or two to finish up a few other things but I had to call them a week later to remind them and they sent someone different. The toilet they fixed still leaked so that person had to come back to adjust it. They did give me a discount, which I was thankful for. Nice people.

We woke up Saturday morning to discover a leak in our basement. I looked up local plumbers on Angie's List and found Hunt's. They were very helpful on the phone, had technicians available the same day, and scheduled an appointment for the afternoon. They were very upfront on their pricing structure and how the service would be conducted. Jesse called me when he was on his way to our home giving us plenty of notice of his pending arrival and was here right on time for our scheduled appointment. He quickly assessed the full situation, provided a precise price and asked if I'd like to proceed. Of course, I said yes and he got right to work. He was polite and did the work quickly and did a great job. Everything was super easy and we were happy we went with Hunt's. I would definitely recommend them and use them for any future plumbing needs, emergency or otherwise.

Was on time, fast, cleaned up well after finished. Did not realize that there would be additional cost for the expansion tank replacement.

I really like them. I have had them probably 8 times. They are responsive and professional. They are well priced and pleasant people. They are fun. They give reasonable suggestions for problems. They do not try to up sell you. They know their limitations.

Service was fine. Price was a little higher than I felt was appropriate for the service provided as there was an upcharge for tankless service.

Was on time, took 2 hours to complete job. Price was very high.

Very professional, friendly, prompt and clean. They weren't able to do all the work we needed as they didn't have the right equipment but recommended the company best fit to assist in our needs. We hired the company they recommendedand got all our work done in a timely and efficient manner. Great group of people.

"Gil" initially came to our house on August 8th to provide an estimate on both the sink installation job, as well as a larger job concerning relocation of a sewer stack. After several calls to Gil were not returned, we had to move on with our basement remodel without the sewer job. This resulted in a candid review on Angie?s List on August 15. We later found a response from Hunts on Angie?s List ? apologizing for the lack of follow-through ? but we were never contacted by a representative of your firm. After re-connecting with Hunts Gil came on on September and completed the work promptly, and apparently appropriately. We have had no issues with the job one month out. (Despite a guarantee he would call before arrival, Gil just showed up, and luckily I was on premises). The bill with which we were presented by Gil exceeded the initial quote by $119 (a $59 dispatch fee and $60 fee for supplies). I contested these fees on the basis they should have been included in the initial quote, as there were no newly discovered problems and the scope of work should have been known at the time the estimate was given. Hunt's response was commendable: they immediately agreed to refund the disputed portion of the fee without discussion, which we appreciated. Despite the false starts and missteps, we feel this is a quality operation, trying hard to do it right. Mistakes happen, but Hunt's tried to make it right, which goes a long ways.

I thought we had a leak, but the technician came by and figured out that we simply had a dry trap. Just running water to make sure the trap has water stored in it solved the problem, and since there was no real "fix" they didn't charge for the visit! Great service (for as short a visit as it was) and also provided a rough estimate to get a sink installed in our laundry room. Will definitely consider Hunt's to perform that job when the time comes.

$119 for $200 worth of labor sounds good...until you find out there's an $85-ish charge just for them to come out. Ok, still not horrible and under the limit, but then charging out the yin yang for plumber's caulk and 15 mins of labor? The plumber was a very nice guy and even gave me a quick tip on parts to buy to replace leaking faucets. He was very prompt and even gave a quick phone call letting us know he was on his way. Overall, the service and professionalism of the plumber was excellent...but to charge essentially $260 for 20 minutes of time (he said he was only a 5 minute drive away when he called) + 6 inches of plumbers caulk is very expensive. Bottom line...I would be tempted to call them again for an emergency...but due to the cost, I would definitely look on the internet and youtube for any possible fixes to do myself first.

They did a great job. They replaced the water heater and disposed of my old water heater. There was no mess after they left, though it was a really messy job, but it looked great after they were done! Everything has been working perfectly since. I will be calling them again for more service later on.

They showed up on time and flushed our water heater. As per the voucher they suppose to flush the heater and inspect the plumbing. But he didn't check any plumbing and he never bothered asking about plumbing issues and inspect them.

Gil arrived earlier than expected which was what we hoped. He took his time to explain the the problems we had. He made a few suggestions for preventing it from happening it. We purchased Angieslist big deal. There is a $59 dispatch charge during normal business hours for non urgent appointment, which is not very common with other services. Appointment was made very easy with emailing through Angieslist. Overall smooth pleasant experience with the company.

We had a bad installation and the water valve for the refrigerator needed to be replaced. Hunts office was very easy to work with and they put us in touch with one of their plumbers who came out on the same day. He identified the problem quickly and fixed it in a short amount of time. He explained what failed and precautions we should take next time. The cost was higher due to the need to replace the water valve box which wasn't originally secured properly. He also provided us with a write-up detailing the issue to pass along to the insurance company. The new valve works great. The only snag we had was communication between the main office and the plumber who was dispatched could have been better. It took several days and several calls to get back in touch with our plumber regarding some paperwork for the insurance company.

Phone was answered promptly and I found the woman who answered the phone very responsive. She gave me a time to expect arrival of Aaron. He was late and I had to call their office to check on status of his arrival. Once on site he completed the repair quickly and made other suggestions for additional repairs/improvements as he walked through the house to get the water restored. All work was completed satisfactorily. When I asked him about replacing other shut off valves (a total of 8), he quoted me a price of $107.00 each. I was a little disappointed in the amount he quoted because after checking the local big box store, we found the price of the parts to total about $16.00 per line. I totally understand paying for labor/time but I am not sure that the quoted price per replacement was fair based on the price per line and the time it took to replace each part.

When I scheduled someone to come out and get the information he needed to provide an estimate, I was told he would arrive at my house at 9:00. At about 10:00 I called because no one had arrived yet. Then she said he was scheduled to be at my house some time between 9:00 and 11:00. He did arrive at 11:00. He was very nice and professional and I showed him what I wanted done. He said it might take a week for him to prepare the estimate and e-mail it to me. After one month of not hearing back, I called and spoke to a woman who was very nice and professional. She said she would talk to the gentleman that evening and make sure I get an estimate the following morning. Again, I did not hear back and in another week I called again. This time I spoke to a man who apologized and said he would check into it and call me back. He never called back and I never got an estimate. I decided I wasn't going to "beg" them to work for me and that they must not want the job. It would have been nice had they told me they wouldn't/couldn't do the work so I could more timely find someone who would. Was extremely aggravating as I need the work done before the holidays.

Obviously any plumbing issue is stressful, but the people at Hunt's were pleasant. They worked with our schedule and knew what they were doing, without overkill.

The work went fine. They honored the $119 Big Deal price. The professionalism of the technician that came out was very well.

We purchased this deal on Angies List because we had some very specific, small things that needed to be done around our house. When we called to make the appointment we found out this provider was about an hour from our house. We also found out that they charged and extra $50 on top of the cost of the deal to come out and do an estimate. I asked about the possibility of not having an estimate since we just had a few small things that needed to be done - but the $50 fee was the cost of having someone come out at all. So we got a refund for the deal through Angie's List.

Asked to have a seal replaced on the flapper to my American Standard champion 4 flapper. He said they don't carry parts for the 4266 toilet tank. He said Lowe's and Home Depot don"t even carry it. I knew they did. The cleaning out the clog in the pipe from my kitchen sink wasn't done to my satisfaction. After he left it was still backing up into the sink. I had to request that they come back out again and do it right. They sent out two plumbers the second time. After the second time it finally was draining properly.
