I hired this company in 2016 to repair a leaking pipe in my home and unfortunately had a terrible experience with the contractor, Josh, who is the brother of the company's owner. He overcharged me and kept increasing his service price saying there needs to be more tools and labor than he initially thought. It ended up costing 10 times more than what was quoted initially, and the final cost was around 4300 dollars. (Look at the picture, do you really think he did work that was worth 4300 dollars?) He failed to properly explain the scope of the work and the final outcome, leaving me responsible for additional repairs and demolitions. The final result was not satisfactory and Josh's assurance that the job would be covered by insurance proved to be false. I strongly suspect that the company, through Josh, deliberately misled me in order to get more money because Josh never told me to check with the insurance first, instead told me to pay him first and then get money from the insurance for myself which was not the proper way. When I attempted to address my dissatisfaction, it was difficult to get a hold of Josh, and the company showed little interest in resolving my complaints. I would not recommend this company and advise others to be cautious when considering them, specifically when it comes to dealing with Josh.

I can see why they have a 5 star rating. Great service, came the day we had the problem and installed a new water heater for us that same day which I don't think has ever happened to me. Didn't feel like snake oil salesman. Informative options for service.

These guys are the worst ever. My mom who is 74 just wanted to replace a sink on her existing vanity. She supplied the sink and ended up charging her $950.00 parts could of bought at local hardware for 20.00. They said she signed and agreed for the services not know what they charged her. If she knew how much for the service she would of declined it.

We had an overall ok experience with Hunt's Services. Scheduling felt impersonal. After I tried to contact them through Angi, a system-sent text message directed me to their website to start the communication process all over again. Eventually someone did call to set up an appointment. Their system does not, however, appear capable of offering an appointment time or even a time window. They only offered a scheduled day and then 30 minutes notice when a technician was on their way. Fortunately, I am able to work from home and be flexible about breaks, so this worked ok for me. But for someone who needs to actually go to work or run errands, they may not be your best option. Pricing seemed a bit high. The cost to replace our leaky faucet was at the high end (or possibly higher) of what the internet seemed to indicate was normal for that service. Also, I didn't really need the faucet installed, since I'm reasonably handy at these things. I only needed the old one removed since it was apparently damaged and stuck in place (they eventually needed a Sawzall to remove it). But that service wasn't on their pre-defined menu of procedures, so full replacement was the only option they were able to quote. We needed the leak fixed, so we chose to have them complete the entire job rather than seeing if we could find someone else to do the work. Workmanship was decent. The replacement faucet was installed without leaks. The drain stopper was installed backwards, however, which meant that it couldn't be removed for cleaning or maintenance. I needed to partially disassemble the drain in order to correct this. It wasn't a big deal, but didn't feel like it should be necessary. All that being said, the leak that existed when they showed up was no longer there by the time they left. The technicians themselves were courteous and efficient. So they did fulfil our primary need in hiring a plumber. But we'll probably look at other options, or at least get more quotes for comparison, the next time we need something like this taken care of.

I am extremely frustrated with the quality of work, the customer service following their mistakes, and I feel taken advantage of after trusting them to do quality work within state and city codes I was not familiar with. For anyone considering hiring Hunt's Services, I would strongly suggest against it, and if you do work with them, be sure to watch them closely and do your research on the codes that apply to the work they will be doing as they cannot be trusted to abide by them. We trusted Hunt's Services to replace our electrical panel, which was located in a small closet in our bedroom. We originally discussed moving the panel, as its location was only permissible due to its age (it had been installed before the code was updated). I was working from home at the time so I could not supervise; I let the workers in, and the replacement panel was put into the same location in the closet. When I inquired, they said it was fine at the time. A year later when considering a remodel, I checked the codes myself and found that the panel is against Washington state code. I've reached out multiple times since July, and been told the worker who installed the panel was no longer with them, and they would address it. As of this point in time, I have not received compensation for the work they have done that is against code, which I needed to pay to be fixed. If they reach out and refund me, I will update my review. Additionally, we had a very expensive sewer liner installed with them, and when we received a free scope from another company, they notified us the liner was coming up. We sent the liner video to Hunt's Services, only for them to say it was fine. We have now had two expensive jobs by this company, with very low quality of work and a failure to meet state standards. I cannot caution enough against using Hunt's Services. In my experience, there is a high likelihood you will not be happy with the work, and they will not do anything to rectify it.

I have used Hunt on several occasions and always been satisfied with the work, if not the prices. They are very expensive. I just noticed my bathroom sink leaking again which was supposed to be fixed June 26, 2021. When he came out I am going to say he spent 45 minutes here and did not have the right cartridge, so I showed him one I had, I wasn't sure if it was new or used. He said he would use that one, which he did. Now I call and they tell me that because he used my cartridge they can't guarantee the parts, so to come out again they will have to charge me a service call and if they have to replace that part, charge for the part. The tech never explained this to me, or when I was paying the $529 I would have made him get his own part. Not good customer relationship building, and I won't use them again, and I have several plumbing problems that need to be addressed. Too many plumbing companies out there that will stand by what their techs do.

The plumbing part of the project went fine. The new installation appears to be functional and free of leaks. Major problem: A few days after they finished, I moved a floor mat in my kitchen and discovered a 3/16" hole drilled through the floor! (It seems that when drilling a pilot hole from the basement for the new drain pipe, they had misjudged the location of the cabinet, and drilled through the floor instead. While on-site, they never mentioned their mistake to me. Instead, they just covered it up by moving the floor mat back into place (with some sawdust still around it). Minor problem: They also failed to clean up scraps of pipe and hole-saw cuttings, both on the ground outside the house and on the roof. The company did not respond to my emailed report of these issues, in which I included a photo of the hole in the floor. I would have expected them to at least offer to reimburse me for the cost to repair the damage.

Excellent!, Quality work done efficiently. A good price too. They did not gouge me even though I'm a single woman. I want them to come back to do some electrical work. I need a exterior motion censor light either fixed or replaced with one that I have and I would like to replace my driveway post light with a new one that I bought at home depot. The two guys were just here Thursday 1/21/2021 so I have to get my ducks in a row before I call them back for the electrical work. I will be calling them back for that, no question. It was an excellent experience from the sales representatives to the installers! Informative, friendly, competent, expedient, and skilled. We need a total re-pipe of our water pipes. I won't even entertain talking to any plumbing company, over Hunt's plumbing division! Customer service I haven't seen, in years! Possibly decades!

Everything was explained. Old tank removed, and new tank installed.
