On time, professional, bent over backwards multiple times to meet needs and ensure satisfied customer. If "Richard" is available, ask for him. Knowledgeable, experienced, skilled, super helpful, courteous... all the things I would hope my son will be someday. Rich performed many little tasks that were probably beyond the job description. Remember the days when "Nordstrom" was the benchmark for service? In my opinion Hunt's would qualify for that honor for HVAC-related services.

This is the first time we have had the pleasure of dealing with Hunt's. They were prompt and very professional. Came out the first time to give us an estimate. We then made the appointment to have all the work done mid September-ish. When Rich came to do the work, he explained in detail everything they were doing and why. He was pleasant to deal with and extremely clean. We turned on the heat for the first time yesterday and heard a high pitched noise coming from unit and couldn't figure out what it was. We called Rich first thing today to ask him to come out and please check this out. He arrived within 2 hours (they were close by) and fixed the noise which was just something rubbing and left with no charge. I will absolutely be calling them for all things plumbing and heating! Thank you Rich and thank you Hunt's!

They were very good. They came the day they said they would, and were very efficient. The price was good, and the workers were very professional. They even fixed a shower fixture that was assembled backwards (Hot coming in as Cold and vice versa) with no charge. I will definitely use them again for future plumbing needs.

Great job. Told us one of our water heaters was in the final stages of life - good to know before it leaks on us! Confirmed a tankless water heater was a possibility for our space/location. We're looking into a replacement now. The other is still in good working condition and is now cleaned out!

It seemed a very basic inspection & maintenance of the water heater. Maybe our expectations were different. The person just flushed our heater and went through the plumbing outlets to point whether anything needed to be taken care of.

Corey was competent, fast, efficient. It was a pleasure to have him in the house as he worked. In addition to performing the repair effectively, he looked at two other plumbing issues / potential issues in the house and gave me advice on what to do about them. I felt the advice was good and trustworthy. One of them was a situation I was willing to have addressed (with work by Hunt's) on the spot; he counselled me to wait and pursue another solution at the appropriate time. An all-around excellent experience.

They came to my place around the time they said, I was at home all the time, so it's not important when they will come, but they did change the time twice, citing some emergencies. They let me know upfront, so it's not big issue for me. Jesse is a nice young man, plite and efficient. He gave me good advice. So it turned out the air gap was not necessary. He did gave me the option as well as enough information for me to choose myself.overall I was happy to get some good advices and save some money as well as some unnecessary troubles. Arrived on time, completed the work and left. Very straight forward and got the job done.

Although they were not able to determine exactly where the water was coming from that was leaking from my shower wall, they assured me that the existing plumbing is intact and not leaking. They surmised that it was water that had built up around the lip of the tub from a previous poor seal (that I had fixed), and it had worked its way through the wall. The shower wall has not leaked since, and there's no further evidence of a leak. While they were here, they sealed the shower spigot and controls, and fixed a leaky kitchen faucet.

I discovered a leak near the isolation gate valve on my hot water heater supply line on a Friday evening, but it was small enough that I didn't need to have the job done over the weekend and pay OT. I initially called a heating mechanical contractor since I thought the leak was on the isolation valve. They weren't able to come out until Tuesday. When they finally made the service call, that contractor told me they could not fix it because the problem was with the glue joint in the pipe. They told me I needed a plumber to fix it since they were a mechanical contractor and they weren't licensed to work on plumbing. I called around to several plumbers, but none was available on short notice. Most had availability that was a week or two out. I finally called Hunt's Plumbing and Heating, even though their web site didn't indicate that they could service the area where my home is located. The customer service lady I spoke with was extremely polite and helpful. She answered all my questions and checked with her technicians for an estimate. She also assured me that they do service the area where my house is located. Unfortunately, she initially said they were also booked out a week, but offered their emergency dispatch services in the evening. I agreed to do that since it had already been 4 days since I discovered the leak. As she was booking the emergency service call, she told me that one of her technicians just had a cancellation and asked if I was available in the next hour for them to come out. I had taken the day off to get it fixed, so I was available and extremely happy that they had a cancellation and could fit me in immediately. Jesse called about noon and told me they would be there in about 40 minutes. He and Brandon arrived exactly when they said they would. They quickly assessed the problem and offered a solution to fix the leak. However, they didn't have the right size "shark bite" in their truck, but offered to drive to the nearest plumbing supply store, which was about 15 minutes away to get the piece and do the repair. They were back within 30 minutes and installed the shark bite and fixed the leak. In addition to fixing the leak, Jesse made several recommendations that will reduce my heating bill and also taught me a few things about the PVC piping that was installed in my house. I will not hesitate to call Jesse and Brandon again and Hunt's Plumbing and Heating in the future for any problem related to my hot water heater, radiant floor system or any plumbing related to the two systems because I know they are certified to work on mechanical and plumbing systems. I would recommend they update their web site to indicate a broader service area than just Pierce County.

I felt it was too expensive. Since they charge 90 dollars just for the visit, I thought that was a rip off when they were doing the job, there should be no such charge. Even that is not mentioned on their advertisement on Angie's list

After a bumpy start with rescheduling and getting pushed out a day after working from home to accommodate schedule, Jesse and his colleague fixed 2 plumbing issues that had been plaguing us for almost a year. Very honest, timely and neat work, will definitely reach out to Hunts again in the future when we need to replace the drain/future projects!

Came on time, installed sump pump. Was quick, courteous and efficient.

Repair went great. Only qualm is that the voucher did not include the trip fee, so we had to shell out an extra $119 for repair.

After American leak located the approximate location of my water leak, I dug a 5 ft deep 16 square foot hole before they came out. They went above and beyond, repaired two leaks they found (one unfortunately caused by my zealous digging. They were both courteous, timely, got right to work and even totally cleaned up - even filling in the hole I had dug!

Their prices were outrageous.

Had Hunt's come out give me an estimate on the bathtub and laundry hookup, $600 estimate to repair before sale of house. It took 3 man hours. Hunt replaced the faucet in the shower, replaced the laundry hook up parts, and updated some of the piping in the garage (garage was directly below bathroom). 7 Days later the buyers move in and use the toilet for the first time. Water gushes down from the garage ceiling and they call Hunt's Plumbing. Hunt gives $600 estimate to remove toilet and replace phlange. Since this is a one bath house, the buyer agrees to have Hunt's do the work. Work is completed in 2 hrs. Since it was unclear who/what was responsible for causing the bad phlange to break, Hunt's agreed to give a discount on phlange replacement. One month later and no issues with the toilet, bath or laundry hook-ups.

rich was wonderful......explained everything step by step as he flushed my water heater and, even though not yet hired, looked at my furnace for me, as i was concerned about the previous company and their claim to have cleaned it.....as i suspected and rich showed me, my furnace was in dire need of cleaning and i had no problem bringing him back to accomplish that for me. whilst we were talking and we had a great rapport, i asked him if he cleaned dryer vents and he said yes, so i also hired him to do that. upon looking at it and its strange construction, i asked for a price to replace it with something more sane and the price was right and rich then replaced the dryer vent which is now all squeaky clean. we know now we will be needing a new water heater and when the time comes, i will request rich again to replace it....... hunt's has replaced a toilet for me and has fixed a leak and now this.....you guys rock!!

My installer was Gil. He was great. Sadly, he wasn't here right at the beginning of my "window", but nonetheless, he was here during the 2-hour window. Very professional and curtious. He had to run to the hardware store for a couple of parts, which extended the job time... but, 24 hours later, happy with the services. I was probably annoying asking a lot of questions, and Gil was nice enough to answer all of them. A little confusion with the bill at the end (between Angie's List and Hunt's) but that wasn't Gil's fault. I had several bids for this job and felt most comfortable with Hunt's. I give a "C" on the price because after doing some research online, I think the water main change and pressure regulator were overpriced.

It went great. Corey was on time, very professional, and did great work. The people I spoke with on the telephone were also great. Hunt's did the work as promised, was very up-front about the costs, and had everything they needed on the truck. I will hire them again.
