Our furnace failed on a Saturday morning. cummings was the only company that returned our call, Lance came out on Sunday to estimate the job, we accepted and the new furnace and water heater were installed on Monday. We were given detailed instructions on programming the new thermostat, the workers were polite and friendly and cleaned up thoroughly.

This company is amazing. In all areas gave us excellent service and advice. Went beyond what we had hired them for.

Very straight forward. Got to work immediately. Polite and very COVID aware, Repair completed in approximately 2hours.

There were problems with the installation of the heating system. We requested that either the owner or manager come out to inspect and resolve the issues. We were told the owner would be out at 3 pm. When he did not show up, we called and were then told the appointment had been rescheduled for 7:30. When someone did show up, it was out the installer who had done the initial work. Although he did fix some of the minor issues, he was dismissive of the others and did not address them. We again requested that either the boss or manager come out. We were repeatedly told we would be contacted, but have not heard back yet.***UPDATE 12/23/2020: After HomeAdvisors assistance, we were able to get them out here and all the problems were resolved.

From first contact with an estimate (Rich), Cummings, Inc. was great to work with. Their crew (Blake, Nick) was highly skilled, hard working and exceptionally professional as they performed their work. Blake and Nick returned a couple of days later to check in with us, provide additional filters, make sure system was working correctly and ensure we understood thermostat functions. Cummings was very reasonable in their quote for work completed. We would highly recommend them for a furnace/heat pump replacement.

They listened to what I wanted to achieve in updating my heating and equipment placement in the home, and recommended several options to choose from, including a more creative solution than any other contractor, that still achieved my goals. They saved me about 6k over other bids because they listed to me, and proposed a great solution to update my system. The techs at install did a great job of recommending best practices while balancing my need to stay on budget, gave great advice, made sure we were comfortable with our new equipment. The project was done on time with courtesy and professionalism.

Cummings did a great job for me. Didn't oversell and got the job done sooner than any of the others. And their price was the most competitive of all. I think I can trust them to take care of the maintenance as well.

I was having general home electrical issues and called a couple other companies from HomeAdvisor and both came to diagnose the issue. Without even removing or inspecting my main panel they said I'd need a full $5k replacement, which I found hard to believe given they didn't even attempt to find a problem. They happily charged an inspection fee, said they'd send a quote and I never heard from them again. Still needing help, and seeing the positive reviews for Cummings, I gave them a call. They were here the very next day and immediately began troubleshooting and identified the issue (loose main connection) within minutes. We decided to go ahead and replace the main breaker as well (just in case) and Cummings took care of everything! Jim was amazing, extremely knowledgeable, very friendly and helpful. He made sure everything was handled with total professionalism and I can't recommend Cummings enough! I'll be calling Cummings for any electrical needs I have in the future.
