Description of Work: I'm struggling with a dryer that won't. I've had two other repairmen here- one the replace the heater (at $240) and the other to scratch his head. Ben's Appliance came - immediately diagnosed the problem and a flue problem. I've got the condo working on it. No charge!

Description of Work: Very responsive and help. Broken convection microwave. Thought it was the latch. Ben ordered the latch and then determined that it was the door which would have been too costly to repair versus replacing. I really like his professionalism, promptness, and work ethics.

Description of Work: Upper heating element (broiler) had failed on my Dacor wall oven. Ben troubleshot and found a broken solder on the circuit board which he repaired. Saved significant dollars not having to replace the circuit board. Great job!

Description of Work: Our clothes dryer was making a bad, screeching sound. Ben arrived on time and prepared. He had it fixed in no time at a very fair price.

Description of Work: We bought all new KitchenAid appliances from Lowe's one year ago. It was a terrible experience. Recently we began having problems with our refrigerator which was out of warranty by about two weeks. We called Lowe's and they told us they didn't deal with repairs and to call someone else. We used Angie's List to find Ben's Appliance Service who came out the very next day. Ben's himself was the repairman and he spent a lot of time looking at our problem. He said the refrigerator was so new it was out of his area of expertise. Very honest. Didn't try to sell us something we didn't need. He left, immediately went to the internet to research KitchenAid refrigerators made the same year as ours, called us back in an hour and told us what he'd found which was nothing except the good news that there hadn't been any reported problems with that particular model. He suggested we call the manufacturer and told us how to get their number. We did and the manufacturer extended our warranty until January and sent the Refrigerator Doctor out. He had to order a part which is supposed to be installed tomorrow 7/15. Ben was ultra-professional and honest--timely and thorough. We felt he went above and beyond in trying to find the answer to our problem. Even though he refused to charge us, my husband gave him some money as thanks for the manner in which he'd helped us. Hi is most definitely the first person we will call if we have any further appliance problems. Thank you Ben and Angie!!

Description of Work: Ben came and quickly repaired the problem and was out in less than an hour. This is our second use of Ben's services and it was as perfect as the first. I would highly recommend Ben.

Description of Work: She gave great advice. Then she consulted with her owner and called me back with even more advice. Unfortunately I live too far out from this company--they don't service the Key Peninsula. But I will refer all my clients (real estate) to Ben's Appliance! Great company!
