The team from rainier pacific arrived roughly half an hour late and realized immediately that the openers they had (the ones we had in my ignorance agreed upon) would to work. They left, but explained that if we agreed to it, they would return that day, within an hour or two, with the correct equipment (a pricier opener) . They held good on their word, but the installation took significantly longer than expected ( no matter, though, as it was a flat rate)

When I called, they were very interested. David, one of the owners, came out and carefully measured, etc. He gave me suggestions on whether to repair or replace. He wrote up the bid, brought it back himself. I was very impressed with his careful study of my garage (the bottom slopes down a bit so it makes it harder). I felt comfortable with him, and the installers were excellent! There was a problem which they addressed and fixed. It was refreshing to find such an honest and reliable company.

Great! Gerald came out to look at the job, check out the existing garage door that I wanted to put in, and give me an estimate. I chose them because they were willing to use my existing garage door. The garage door opening is not very tall and parts had to be ordered to put in a different type of rail. Gerald told me up front that this would cost more and told me my used garage door would work fine. There was a part missing that he had to find--which he did. They arrived on the appointed day, installed the door and showed me how it worked. I did something to the car remote and talked to Gerald who was willing to come out and reprogram the remote. So far, because of my schedule, it hasn't happened yet.

The entire experience was quite painless. My call originally went to voice mail and was returned very promptly. I made an appointment for someone to come out to my house to look at the damaged door, which could only be opened and closed manually with 2 people - one working the door and the other manuevering the roller which had come out of the track. Very inconvenient! The sales person, Adam, came the day after the initial call and he was very helpful. He got the roller back on its track so the door was able to be opened remotely again. He also estimated the repair could be just the two panels that were damaged for $600 but I was interested in hearing about a better door replacement. I thought it was going to be much more expensive but he was able to reuse the original tracks, overhead door opener, and some of the moulding. In addition, it actually cost more because I opted for the decorative window inserts and a thicker insulation. Adam did the orignal visit on 23 July and the new door was installed on 5 August. Not a very long time at all. The installers were very professional and promptly replaced the door just as ordered. I have the best garage door in the neighborhood.

Service showed up on time and installed motor without hitch. Two phone calls helped in obtaining subsidized repeater for older car remotes and inexpensive wifi accessory to operate the door.

Our garage door spring broke the night before the 4th of July holiday, so we were unable to open the garage door. I called several garage door businesses early the morning of July 5, but the only one who answered their phone was Rainier Pacific Garage Doors - most of the other businesses said they were closed the entire 4-day holiday weekend. Rainier Pacific came right out and was all set to replace the spring when I asked for an estimate on a new door. The price was very reasonable so we decided to go with a new door. (They showed us how to open and close the garage door till the new door arrived.) Rainier Pacific was out early the next week and installed our new insulated, steel door. They hauled the old door away, and the new door looks great - I love the windows at the top of the door. I would recommend Rainier Pacific to anyone.

The installer arrived promptly as scheduled, assessed the situation and went to work. The two men completed the change out and checked the system with an hour. We discussed the iphone interface and they showed me the coupon for submittal for the request from Liftmaster. We discussed the cars and the possibility that I might need to get an additional interface for a one other cars. The door was tested with the keypad and remotes and they left. I telephoned Liftmaster and they will send a computer interface even though the install was slightly beyond the date on the coupon - good response. I installed the car interface on one car but the other car would not work even though Lexus said it should. I then ordered a repeater through Amazon and installed it when it arrived and it worked perfectly. The iphone app works perfectly and add a good security feature to my home. I really appreciate the quick and professional installation and discussions on the remote controls. I certainly would recommend this company.

Everything went just fine. They have good communication between their customers and themselves. I would use them again.

They were here on time, serviced the door in a timely manner. Removed old rollers, and showed them to me. They even changed the light bulbs in the overhead workings of the garage door. I've told my neighbors about this positive experience

Got a bid from Sears for 4500, David gave me a bid for 3600 for what i think are better quality doors (made locally). He came out the following week and installed them. Very professional, very quick. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dave and his team

On time and professional. Appeared to do job well. Would have liked a little verbal interaction , such as explanation of why plastic rollers were better than the original steel ones, and what he was doing as he went along.

These guys arrived on time. Charged exactly what the job was quoted at and completed the job in great time. Before I had heard of Rainier garage doors I had checked at Costco, but then heard negative feedback on how they try to upsell you once they arrive to install. Rainier offered the same door (upgraded and heavier model then our original) and the cost was about the same, maybe even a little lower then what I was quoted by Costco at the store. This was a very good experience from start to finish. Great customer service, great product, great price. I recommend Rainier 100%.

The two Rainier guys called first and arrived on time. They were very professional and reviewed each area of my doors and openers with me. My outside remote opener was not working and they replaced the opener and reprogrammed and now works great. They also programmed a remote for my third car. They did a very good job and would recommend highly.

Service was prompt and done in a professional manner. All questions that I asked we answered. I would use them again.

Our 1969 house had a very old garage door system, with a very heavy door which would tax the garage door opener especially in Winter so that sometimes the door wouldn't even open. We called and set-up a consultation appointment. The consultant and the installers had a pretty busy schedule, if we had to schedule or reschedule, it would take a week or two for someone to come out, so if we were in a hurry--thankfully we were not--it may have been concerning. The price was very competitive (less than another in-person quote I received, and fractionally more than a phone quote I also got but for a business that didn't actually come out to see the door) , and we did use a mailer coupon. The consultant was very punctual for the door consultation. The installer was 30-60 minutes late, but still finished before the time they previously said they would be done. I really appreciated that the door consultant did not give a hard sell and really tried to help us get the door that would be right for us and the style of house that we had, and in the price range that we were comfortable with. Installation probably happened 6-8 weeks later and took just the morning. The installer did identify that the garage floor wasn't completely level and did have to come back a week later as our garage floor to install a larger rubber stopper at the bottom so that the door would been completely sealed.
