The crew came in like a swarm of bees and cleaned up my whole yard. Left it in beautiful shape.

It was very great except that I ended up paying a whole lot more for more hours because they didn't get it all done. They were good. I have no complaints about them. They were fine. They came out the next day to finish the job. They came out one day and it was late so they had to come back the next day to finish the job.

These guys were exceptional! They walked around my yard as I pointed out all the fall chores I hadn't finished. Then they got their tools, zoomed in and tackled my flower beds, garden and yard like a swarm of bees! I was astounded at what they accomplished. My yard is now thoroughly buttoned up and ready for winter. I will definitely hire them again (and recommend them to my friends). Super hard workers, wow!

Absolutely great company! Everyone I met from this company are first class....very nice, super knowledgeable, very fair on prices...they showed up on time...worked hard, were detailed in what they did and finished early. I didn't know anyone to ask for work on this new home as I had moved from out of the area...went strictly by online reviews...glad I did...I am now a customer for all my future needs...and will also refer my neighbors.

I cannot say enough about this company. They were excellent workers and did an outstanding job. We are so pleased with our new patio and retaining wall. First they removed our old cement patio and retaining wall and evened out the surfaces. Next, they built the new retaining wall. Then they infilled with gravel and sand. Finally, they added the pavers, garden areas, and privacy fence. It is truly a work of art and hard labor!

They did a beautiful job and were very professional. The work took creativity and a lot of skill and they displayed both. They cleaned up after themselves and left me with a beautiful, completed patio.

Great job provided by Mike and crew. We have a challenging back yard with extensive Japanese style landscaping and water feature that required navigating in and around plants, shrubs, creek, waterfalls, etc. Beyond our expectations, highly recommended and would definitely use again.

They were personable and easy to work with, doing exactly what I asked. Because they had a crew of 4 and were in the area, all 4 of the workers came to my place and were able to get the entire job done in about 2 hours. I was glad to see so many people working because the job would have been difficult for one person to do in 4 hours. I'll use them again next fall for cleanup.

The two Mike's and the crew from Desert Sun are amazing. They took my uneven, rubble-strewn weed patch and turned it into a beautiful back yard! Reasonable, on-time and on-budget, I can't say enough good things about this company. They'll be back to pave a patio next spring! Highly recommend.

Mike and the team at Desert Sun were amazing and we are so grateful to have found them on Angie's List! We recently purchased a home that had been vacant for over a year and the landscaping was in dire need of resuscitation. At closing, we received our first notice from the HOA that the yard was out of compliance. Desert Sun was quick to come to our rescue, and far exceeded our expectations. Mike was very attentive, and from the first estimate to final completion, he was clear with all estimates and options. We've hired a number of contractors and home improvement professionals over the past two months, and we were most impressed with the commitment and dedication demonstrated by the team of Desert Sun. Thanks to them, we are now the proud owners of a beautifully landscaped home.

It went very well and we would recommend Mike and his crew to anyone. They made many trips to the house for small issues after the work was done. They responded to any concerns quickly. Christian made a special trip out to teach us how to use the sprinkler box because we couldn't figure it out. Our lawn is starting to look great and the true test will be when it comes back up in the spring. I only gave a B for punctuality because sometimes the crew arrived hours after quoted time. This was not an issue for us but it might be for others.

The provider was on time, friendly and professional. He did an outstanding job. The workers were also very professional and courteous.

Mike from Desert Sun was very friendly and professional. He provided a very reasonable bid for the work and arrived with 3 employees to start the work on the date and time he stated. I appreciated how they scheduled my small job in between larger jobs to fit me in. They completed all the work in 3 hours and I was totally satisfied when he left. He called me an hour later and said he forgot to ask me to turn on my sprinkler system just in case some pipes were damaged during the sod removal. I did so and found that there were a couple of leaks. Mike came back himself at the end of the day and made the repairs. He assured me that if I had any other problems to give him a call. A couple of days later I noticed a leak that we had not originally seen. I called him and he came back again and made the repair. Mike took care of the repairs with a friendly and helpful attitude and totally exceeded my expectations. I will definitely use him again and will recommend Desert Sun to friends and other homes in my development.

The crew arrived at the scheduled time and everything went very smoothly. They used a heavy machine to tamp down the soil used to fill the hole where the pond had been so there would be no settling later. A heavy roller was used to grade the area. The sod was beautiful, lush green grass. The work was done over a two day period, and the area was left immaculately clean. A truck with a trailer filled with soil had to be backed up our driveway to get to our backyard. The driveway slopes upward and curves to the left, and narrows to a point that was just barely wider than the wheels on the trailer. Whoever drove that truck maneuvered it perfectly! Nothing was damaged anywhere on the property during the course of their work. The day after the work was completed, we noticed that there was a leak in the sprinkler system. We left a message for Mike about this. The very next day someone came out and fixed the leak.
