Description of Work: While the Phillips group does not do work in our area, they are tiptop in terms of professionalism. They immediately offered to furnish us with any references they had to people in our area that would do the work, and called us back to give us the information. All that without making a dollar from services to us. How often have you had that experience? If they'll do this for someone they don't work with, think of what they will do for you given the chance.

Description of Work: Desert Sun Landscaping was very quick to respond! I purchased the deal for four hours of fall clean up. They came right after the big wind storm so i had much more than four hours of work needed. They did a good job in the time they had and the person i spoke with was apologetic for not getting it finished - which was not they fault! They even did some extra time without charging us. I was pleased with their professionalism.

Description of Work: Added bark to 3 planter beds. Added 7 new bushes. Removed crab grass that had completely invaded 2 other large beds. hauled in and spread some landscaping rock. Most of the work was completed in one day. I highly recommend Desert Sun to anyone looking for some landscaping work to be done.

Description of Work: Crew of two came to remove dead tree and replant a new 1 1/2 caliper red dogwood tree with stabilizing posts. Also straightened a huge landscape rock by chaining it to truck and working it slowly back to a standing position. Filled a sinkhole under turf to level. Removed a large dappled willow to ground and trimmed another. Cut down two quaking aspens to ground. Removed rose bush and transplanted a spirea to a different location in landscape. Removed three shrubs which were either dead or crowding out trees in landscape. Tested and tuned sprinkler heads in 25 zones to eliminate lawn brown spots. Pruned and trimmed all shrubs and bushes front and back in about an acre of landscaping. Did Sprinkler blowouts. Work was done very well and the owner was always ready and eager to communicate and offer anything needed. I am very happy to be working with Desert Sun at my home and have now started using them for my rental property as well. Excellent service and competitive pricing. I definitely recommend Desert Sun!

Description of Work: Monthly lawn maintenance ran about $100 a month, and was good. I was disappointed with the planting they did however. The plants & tree all died. I figured that because they guaranteed their work with automatic sprinkler system, that they would repleace the dead plants. Howeever, because my automatic sprinkler system was run off of a hose, rather than being built-in, they would not honor the guarantee.

I would have liked them to trim a bit closer to the bushes, but this was the first time so we were still working out what was important and what needed to be done. Talked to owner and he promptly got back to me to discuss. Not worried about any future issues since communication is good.
