Description of Work: We purchased the Angie's list $49 deal. When they came out to examine the roof they said that the pitch on the roof was too steep but they would do the inspection deal anyhow. They made an estimate for more work that the roof needed, we decided that we could not afford the additional work at this time. When we told them this they said they would schedule some one to do the work agreed to in the $49 Angie's list deal. As far as we knew no one came out to do the work. We finally called to see when they would be out to complete the work and were told that it was already done. We were never contacted to set an appointment for them to do the work, no phone call, no note on the door, no follow up of any kind. They claim that they did come out but we never saw them and I am not able to get up on the roof to see if the work was really done. It is my opinion that their communication skills leave a great deal to be desired.

Description of Work: Alpine contacted us in a timely manner. He informed us he would be out of town and would get back with us after a week. Three weeks later I called and he said I was scheduled for the coming Wed. He came that date on time. He told us the repair person would be there Sat. and he would call as to the time. No one called or showed up on Sat. On Monday as I was leaving for another appointment, the repair person called to say he was coming but would be an hour late. Since this was not convenient for me, we set it up for 8:00 the next day. The crew of two arrived on time. They did a very good job and knew exactly what they were doing and did everything that was agreed to. They were very professional . The site was cleaned up better than when they found it. They emphasized that if anything wasn't right to give Alpine a call.

Description of Work: Replace roof shingles. It took too long to get done.

Description of Work: REPAIRED LEAKING ROOF

Description of Work: Over the past twenty years my extended family has had three roofs replaced, windows repaired and replaced, chimneys fixed, two hardwoord floor restorations, two bathroom remodels and several rooms painted and drywall repaired by Alpine Construction. Alpine has always provided us great service at a great price. Last fall while my folks were out of town we realized that their home had been broken into and burglarized. With no one available to check on the house - we called Darius at Alpine and he immediately went to the house and secured the window that had been damaged and had it repaired in no time. They didn't even want to invoice us! They are just the type of contractor you hope to find - helpful, skilled, trustworthy and honest!
