Description of Work: Installed synthetic turf in the front yard including existing lawn removal. The whole process was very easy. The overall price was cheaper than other companies, and the synthetic grass product was of a higher quality. The turf looks like real grass. I am extremely happy with the result. Bill made sure I was satisfied with the end result, and came back to fix a minor cosmetic issue. The crew was great and everything was cleaned up immediately.

Description of Work: I was treated terrible; very unprofessional and very pricey for what I got. When Bill was done with me, he sent out an email saying thanks than went on vacation. He only communicates through email. He only came out to my home once before anything was started.

Description of Work: He put up new gate, fixed a small portion of walkway that was water stained, and put in new deck out back. I've had a lot of work done since I moved in; this was the worst experience; He lied who was doing the work, it wasn't the concrete company like he said. I have it in writing. It was a few hourly help guys who did a bad job, they left a corner undone and that had to be fixed. I could have had some friends do the job for free and done right. The new gate was put up using the old hardware. He charged me a lot of money for the new hardware and wouldn't give me my money back even though it wasn't used, so he stole from me. I had a lot of problems with the gate that I paid a lot of money for, boards loosening days later, wouldn't stay shut and than open properly. That took a few visits to get fixed. The size of deck that was built is smaller than the size of deck I paid for. I used Trex and was charged a lot. After the jobs were complete; the first time since they had to come out to fix the shoddy work more than once; Bill didn't come out to do a walk thru, make sure his customer was satisfied; he just took my money. I've learned a lot from this experience. I won't be taken advantage of again for my lack of knowledge on home repair. I will continue to write my reviews on this guy. The power of the review. |

Description of Work: Provided a one-hour consult on front and back yard landscaping. Susan was very professional and provided good suggestions. My only negative comment is that the deal was listed as a $200+ value so I thought we would get more than the one hour consult. However, we did get a reasonable value for the $50 we actually paid.

Description of Work: I really liked her ideas but when it came time to get an estimate to implement them, the guys at Fun Yards didn't give me a bid when they said they would. I called them & they said they'be been busy & would get back with me. 4 days later & still waiting... I have very little tolerance for companies that don't follow through on what they say they're going to do, when they say they're going to do it. It makes it seem that they don't want my business.

Description of Work: New deck in back and replaced gate in back. Gate doesn't work properly, wasn't nailed down properly and starting to bow already. Comes open when there's a breeze.

Description of Work: bills hired hands did a great job,when the main pipe broke,which caused my water bill to almost triple,thay did come out and fix itb,although if their responce had been quicker,the water bill would have been less. bill did send me a check for $125 to offset my inflated water bill.he needs to work on communication responsiveness bit to lax in that area.over all I would reccomend his co.

Description of Work: I wanted to have them come out to give me a bid for re-landscaping my backyard and putting up a fence.

Description of Work: Very large tree with hanging limbs needed to be "wind-sailed". The team was very good. They did however drop a limb on a bird house which destroyed it. We had/have no need for it so it was not a problem. Cleanup left a little to be desired. We had to remove a few branches after they left, but not enough to really effect the rating.

Description of Work: I had Bill come over for an estimate to remove Bamboo and put up a new fence. He seemed knowledgeable esp about Bamboo removal. I liked his personality and I thought his bid was fair. We had set up a general time for when he could begin work and answered all my emails promptly. I finally asked for some references to call and I never heard from him again. I'm not sure what happened. He did mention he was on Angies List but I just wanted to be able to to call a few folks who had used FunYards. I was so disappointed!

Description of Work: They are taking out a whole yard full of junipers from over a 30 year period, it was really wild. They are extending out my courtyard out another 10 feet using concrete, not plain concrete more like an aggregate.
