Description of Work: rewired whole house from knob and tube to code

Description of Work: Trinity removed the knob and tube from my attic and rewired all of the connected outlets and lights. They arrived on time with exception of days they needed to purchase supplies. The electrician had a lot of experience replacing old wiring and was quick to figure out what needed to be done. Attention to detail was not great, some outlets are slightly crooked, there was some damage to areas around where outlets were placed, it was included in the bid that I would be responsible for making the work look pretty so I'm ok with how it came out. I was unhappy with the how the wiring in the attic was installed, Trinity sent someone out to clean up the work. The total work took probably three times longer than they anticipated, we had some scheduling issues and there were several weeks between when the work was started and when it was finished but I was never left without power. In the end the work was completed, it was done well enough, and it passed inspection.

Description of Work: "Installed 3 new outlets (2 interior), 1 exterior. |Moved a hot water heater wire through floor beams to be in the corner of the room. |The previously replaced a circuit breaker in the power panel that went bad. | |I have had two opportunities to call on Trinity Electric to do some minor electrical work at our home. In both instances I initially left a message on an answering machine and they got back to me within a few hours. I was very impressed with the first call as when I told the person on the phone that one of our circuit breakers had gone bad, he took a good 10 minutes walking me through some basic electrical tests to make sure that I actually needed their services. He told me that he didn't want to send a service person to the house (and save a miniumum of $100) if it was something that I could take care of myself. This was much appreciated. | |In both instances I found the electrician that came to do the work to be friendly and professional. They showed up at the initially agreed upon time and did the agreed upon work quickly and efficiently. They were also patient enough to answer all of the questions that I had. I would definitely not hesitate to call them again."

Description of Work: I never received a call back on phone request for a bid to provide power to shed to be built.

Description of Work: I contracted with jeff Whetzel for electrical improvements on my newly purchased home in Wallingford. The work was promised to start in 3 weeks. The work was done in a timely manner. We had a cover elec inspection and passed. Since we needed sheet rock installation before the final inspection, the electrician pulled off the job. When it came time to do the fixture installation, I had trouble contacting Jeff. Turns out that he had a bad telephone number for me. I went to Angies List for help. jeff responded immediately and the work was completed within 2 working days. I am now awaiting a final inspection on the work. I feel that I will have no problem passing the final.

Description of Work: Lots of smaller jobs, including adding canister lighting, a motion dectector, troubleshooting and repair two sets of outdoor lighting, installation of housing for overhead fan, checking all outlets for safety, dimmer switches, adding outdoor outlets and other. Jeff was professional, personal and thorough in the first visit. The work itself was done the same way. I have since referred two friends to the firm and will continue to send business their way whenever possible. I'll always hire them whenever I need electrical work. Outstanding.
