Per our HOA, we had to have our roof de-mossed and by their instruction, could only use eco-friendly moss treatments. We had a really hard time finding a company that used such a product, so after asking our HOA for a reference, they directed us to Pro-Long. Unlike other companies that use pressure washing and harmful chemicals, Pro-Long uses pressurized air to "blow" the moss off the roof and then applies the eco-friendly moss treatment. I assume this unique process is why the cost was higher than other roof cleaning companies. Scheduling was easy and they actually arrived earlier than expected and completed the job in a timely manner. Roof looks great and as part of the clean up process, they blow out the gutters as well - bonus! One word of warning, that moss really does BLOW off the roof, so don't be like me and leave your car (or anything else) outside near the house - after the cleaning, it definitely needed a wash.

They came out and gave me a bid in a timely manner. They arrived as scheduled (after postponing for a rain delay) and were courteous, did everything they promised and left the house and yard very clean.

I had bought the house last summer and my roof had never been professionally cleaned before. It was covered in moss and had one leaky area. After the four hour service, the roof looks like new! It's now coated to protect from future damage. The gutters too are clean. And the leaky portion of the roof has been replaced.

The only thing was it was difficult to talk to the guy that was doing the job since he hardly spoke English.

I was very impressed with this company. Someone came for an estimate within two days of calling, the replacement was done two days later.

Overall I am very pleased with PL services. I had used then before a few years ago. They were nice and very responsive on the phone and provided a free estimate on site a few days after I called. After my approval they came to perform the work on time and the 2 workers were very responsible, careful with my property and did a great job. They also made sure that I was happy with everything before they left. A few months later I noticed a little problem on the roof following the service (nothing to worry about though), I called them and the owner called me back immediately to take care of it. He sent shortly after a person to address the issue to my satisfaction at no charge. I will definitely use them again.

One negative comment. The white plastic around a trim window next to my front door was scratched all around the frame after a worker used an air wand to remove excess dirt & dust. When I mentioned this to the manager he stated that the cosmetic damage could not have been caused by any of their workers. Take it for what it is worth, I think I know what happened 00

The best thing I have to say about them is that they really do care about their customers. They are very conscientious about customer service. Their work is always good and I have used them many times in the past and will continue to use them for future jobs.

They were extremely thorough. They also left the deck and surrounding property clean of all the roof debris. They provided a warranty for the moss prevention which other companies did not do. They weren't the lowest bid, but I liked the warranty, and they did an excellent job. I would hire them again.

My current asphalt roof was not maintained well by previous owner and is wearing out more than it should be. After a heavy rain storm it was not a surprise for me to notice one place of water leaking coming from top of window in my dinner room. Called Pro-Long and they can arrange the visit just in the second day. The worker came and did quick inspection, and was able to figure out the root cause in short time. With reasons understood, the leaking problem was fixed just at that time with sealing exposed nails with reasonable cost, and it's glad for me the leaking has been gone through recently frequent heavy rains in east side. I was very satisfied with this fixing job!

To keep from damaging the roof, they cleaned our roof without using a pressure washer. They cleaned he roof with a leaf blower. The roof was clean when they were done. They did a good job and there was no roof damage when they were done.

The roof cleaning went well. The shake treatment took another trip due to equipment problems. The gutter removal took 3 trips to get everything taken down. The gutters were replaced by 2 guys who were new to putting up gutters. There were many problems with the installation. The owner came out to put in the missing screws (25% of the gutter hangers did not have screws). When I asked him to check the slope of the gutters he told me "It is an optical illusion." I had to get out my level and show him that the gutters ran uphill to the downspouts in 2 places. He then told me that "The gutters will drain anyway." I had to insist that he fix the slope (which took him less time than to do than we spent arguing about whether it needed to be done). When I showed him where the gutters were cut too short and did not reach the edge of the roof, he said "What do you expect me to do about it?"

The estimator came out to quote the job a day or so after I contacted them. Because it was a busy time for them, it was a few weeks before they could do the job. The Pro-Long cleaner arrived on time on the day scheduled. After introducing herself, she got to work blowing all the debris and moss off the roof. We had a lot of moss growing. I have a composition roof so it was important to me that the roof be cleaned with air pressure rather than water pressure. I had to leave for the day so she finished the job while I was away, but when I returned the roof was immaculate. The ground around the house where all the debris off the roof had fallen was cleaned up as well.

It went fine until it rained. Then it was obvious that the downspouts were clogged. We called two different times to get them to come back and clean them. They never did and we continued to have problems until we called someone else to do the job. We will not use this company again.

The worker was on time, worked diligently until finished. He was very meticulous. He estimated how much time he would need and he was true to his word; he was completely finished and cleaned up by that time. He said that I would be billed after he put in the paperwork. The bill was actually what was quoted originally. I would definitely hire them again and recommend him to everyone I know.

They gave me an estimate first then I scheduled the cleaning. They arrived on time and finished the cleaning. The yard and driveway were nicely cleaned. They had to return to do the repellent as the weather was rainy. I asked if they would call me to let me know when they were coming so I could be present. They called me back later that day to schedule the application. Their price came in exactly as estimated.

They did a good job, but they never came back to complete a section of the roof. Specifically, they were unable to clean a portion of the roof because my stepson's trailer prevented them from reaching it, and they promised to return once the trailer had been moved. However, they never followed up on this issue. I might use another company because of this.

As far as I can tell, everything went well. I'll have to wait until the first rain to see if they did a thorough job.

They did a good job with the cleaning, followed proper saftey procedures, and cleaned up after themselves. The only issue was that some debris from the cleaning found its way into the garage.
