Description of Work: Our stereo system was having some problems. Spoke on the phone with Harold and detailed out what we had done for troubleshooting and what I needed looked at. Very patient with me and said they could troubleshoot the problem. Joel, the tech, showed up promptly at the appointed time. He was very knowledgeable on the amplifier we were having trouble with. Within an hour he narrowed the problem to the amp and nothing else in the hookup. We took the entire system apart and installed a new Samsung Wi-fi 4K SDHU TV and Wi-fi speakers. Everything was programmed and works really well. They are a little pricey, but I figure you get what you pay for in life. I would definatly recommend this business and would use them again.

Description of Work: They installed our speakers and receiver for surround sound in living room. We had a bit of a challenge connecting at first - mostly because of my misunderstanding that he would contact me via my email address; I didn't realize I had to log into my Angie's account to retrieve my messages from the provider. Then there was a misunderstanding of the appointment time for the initial consultation; but, we worked that out. The two people who were scheduled to do the work showed up on time and did a good job. One of the two clearly did not have a lot of experience, so we were happy there was a more knowledgable co-worker with him. Finally, there was an error in running our credit card, but they corrected that as well. Overall the work went fine and we're happy with the finished product; but, there were a few bumps along the way. Could be that the company is very busy and they are understaffed, but I'm not sure.

Description of Work: System review for defects (May 2014); identification of defective equipment and re-installation of new equipment (June 2014).

Description of Work: Cleaned up audio/data panel in closet -- removed legacy equipment that was no longer needed/useful and tied off loose wires and cables. Added Sonos equipment to audio panel, re-located and connected to 2 sets of outdoor speakers. Added network switch and connected to modem and data jacks (existing) throughout the house.

Description of Work: I purchased a new home in Everett, WA and the builder had used NW Security & Sound to install a home security system. If the builder trusted in Rick and his company to have the security system's installed prior to me buying it, then I trusted his judgement. After moving in, I called and spoke with Rick and he had one of his employees come out to activate my security system. Being a single woman living in a new state, I felt so safe and secure having a security system. While he was there we talked about my interest in having a home theater and full home sound system installed. Trusting in my builder paid off as I had Rick come out to give me a quote on a home theater and full house sound system installation. The entire system, customer service and support from Rick and his team was phenomenal. I absolutely LOVED it. In fact as soon as Rick had everything set up, I sat and cried out of pure joy after years of dreaming about having a system like what NW Security & Sound had installed in my home. Rick installed a home theater system in my great room with additional speakers in my office, master bedroom and outside on my covered deck. Rick is the best, don't consider anyone else if you are in the Seattle area for a security system or a sound system of your dreams. I ended up selling my home a year later due to a job transfer and 1 year later still have yet to find a company that can meet my expectations that Rick and NW Security & Sound set back in WA to install my home theater system. Thank you Rick, you need to come to Chicago to install my system here! :) Tammy Mullady
