Had an 11-year old non- mobile friendly built-in camera system that had been built into my home when it was new. NW Security & Sound as part of their service contract for our home alarm & monitoring system responded to my request and found an inexpensive solution to replace the failing cameras and DVR with high quality equipment while using the existing cabling. They added something originally overlooked when the system was first installed and not thought about, a back-up battery system to keep it all working during a power outage. They knew my budget, they were responsive and the technician came on time (and wearing a proper facemask, thank you !). End result was a complete success at a fair and affordable price.

They did not offer to come out to look at the site or provide options. They just provided a general, professional for budget purpose email.

The job was done excellently and there were zero issues faced post installation (it's been 3 weeks since I've been enjoying the set up). Rick and team reviewed my requirements and suggested a great set up within my budget that would also meet my needs. Rick is a person of high integrity and operates in a very transparent fashion so you always know what you are getting. The team is truly knowledgeable and if you are spending money for great equipment, I strongly recommend going with NW Security & Sound LLC. Would definitely hire them again if I need any work done!

When we moved into our house, we inherited two messy home theater systems and a very messy central panel for the network, alarm, etc., so we asked NW Security & Sound to sort it all out and install a new receiver. This company was terrific to work with, from the scheduling of the work through to its completion, including a follow-up visit. The technicians answered all of my questions, and made many little tweaks until everything was exactly as I wanted. I definitely felt I got value for my money.

Tech was very Professional and knew his stuff. Older alarm system might have stumped some techs. Very pleased with company from person that answered the phone and scheduled the work done to tech that did work. A+ in my book.

Rick did an excellent job installing my wall mount for my 50” TV. He also installed a floating shelving unit for my cable box and blu ray player to sit on. I am very pleased with his work! I would definitely hire again and/or recommend his services!

Install Crew arrived on time .We first walked the house inside and out to confirm camera locations and all other security hardware that we had agreed opon from the original estimate. They then got to work and had the system completed in about 7 hours. Install time came in under the original estimate,so it cost less and final price was adjusted according. Richard then spent at least a half-hour making sure both my wife and I understood the system and how to use it. We are very happy with our system and would highly recommend to friends and family.

Our home sound system was 8 years old and had several nonfunctioning speakers. They responded very quickly to my call to evaluate the system and provide a recommendation to update and repair. The system they recommended was excellent and the quoted price was reasonable. They were able to quickly schedule the installation. The technicians were timely, courteous, and professional. They clearly explained how everything worked and made sure I knew how to use the system comfortably. They made it clear I could call back with questions. We're so pleased, we're going to have some additional work done.

It went very well. The 2 electricians were professional, neat, efficient. They finished on time and "neatened up" the wires. 2 Weeks later a representative from King County L&I came by to inspect and stayed only 5 minutes since he saw that the job was well performed.

Rick came out very soon after my initial call to get a quote. Rick is very good about ensuring the plan keeps as many wires hidden as possible and that it will look professional. When Joel came to install it, my husband and I had decided that we didn't want all of the wires hidden thus changing the plan on the spot. Joel heard us out and made the accommodations very professionally and still within our quoted total. He did accidentally make a hole in our ceiling before checking if the projector would display properly from there. Rick and Joel found a ceiling tile to replace the damaged one and installed it at no extra charge within a week of the initial installation. They also did not cash my check until they had resolved the issue. I found this very professional and helpful, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for this type of work.

The finest and most professional firm we have ever had the privilege and pleasure to work with, they exceeded every expectation and then some! Rick, Joel, and Richard took on a highly technical project and patiently put everything into layman's terms, making certain we understood the how and why for every component. The team adhered strictly to the scope of work -- no surprise given the extraordinary skill and attention to detail they bring to the job. Personal and professional service, including follow-up. Did not shop price around much, and hard to get apples to apples comparison. Went with NWSS based on a personal referral from someone who has used them for multiple projects (home theatre and security), and believe we received good value for the price.

Joel arrived right on time and was very professional. I show him the possible cable route via the small basement. Part of the route was outside the home due to the low crawl space at the TV location. He did an excellent job, securing the cable and sealing the outside through holes. Within an hour it was operational. Even though this was a small job, NW Security & Sound don't hesitate in accepting it, from Jordan (customer service) to Joel (technician). This was a great experience. Thanks.

It was okay. The price was good. They didn't seem to know how to do a couple of things that I wanted to do. I wanted them to hook up a speaker system to the TV.

Wow! Cannot say enough good things about Rick and his team. Joel and Gerome who did the work with the epitome of professional. They were deep subject matter experts. They executed to the plan flawlessly, and were constantly looking for how to improve the outcome for us, even where this reduced the amount we would end up paying. They were punctual, efficient, friendly.... I could go on and on. Issues came up during the project. I was asking a lot of these guys. The amazing thing was that every time it did, they immediately went into problem solving, and kept everything to schedule and to the quoted cost. I would hire them again in a second, and would highly recommend them to anyone. Relative to cost. Our project was very large. Amazingly, they provided the lowest quote of all the companies I had submit proposals. I want to be clear though that this was a bonus. I chose NW Security and Sound due to the way that Rick O'Brien responded, engaged, and helped me shape a strategy. Having them as the lowest cost option was simply a bonus!

Team was very professional and fun to work with. Very knowledgeable, caring of the home and did a great job with the install. The only complaint was services per hour were expensive compared to other vendors. I was told $295 per hour for the two guys for the first hour then $95 for an additional hour, but was charged $190 for the extra hour due to two guys. I wish the scheduler gave me the correct information on pricing to set the right financial expectations.

Joel came out and did a fantastic job, wall mounting our 3 TVs and doing a lot of custom work to get the cables hidden in the walls. Our living room install was especially challenging as there is a custom built entertainment center the TV needed to be mounted into and running all the cables in the walls was very difficult to do. The end result looks fantastic. I will definitely use them again.

They called for the consult and told us exactly what we needed. They arrived on the agreed upon day and helped place and install the system. Very professional.

Rick, the owner, met us personally about a week before the work was done to understand what we were looking to do, then mapped that to what they could do with the existing system, as well as adding new technology to update it and to better meet our needs. On the day of the work, their technician showed up and promptly got to work and finished the work in about 3 hours. He fully tested everything and went over everything so we understood what was done.

It was fine. They did the work for us and completed it. The deal basically didn't cover all the work that we needed done. We wanted them to hang up flat channel TV and then on the wall to mount it and have the cables running through the wall. What we ended up cost a lot more than that plus they recommended some other work like helping to clean up some of our electric cable, so overall it was really expensive. The work was more expensive than we originally thought and then they also cleaned up hub for our wireless things, cabling and things like that is in our son's room and the panel that holds all our electric things across the house. They kind of upgraded the voltage, upgraded all the power strips and cleaned up all the cables. They were professional, they understood the work, they did know what they were doing and they completed it as stated and to the estimated invoice cost and whatever they provided us was accurate.

Everything was perfect! I was in the process of finding someone to install my wall mount when the Angie's List "deal" showed up. I contacted Rick, prior to purchasing, to make sure the service I needed fit the offer. He responded immediately and was very clear with the details. I purchased the "deal" and scheduled the service. Everything was really easy. Rick has a great front office staff for scheduling and answering questions. The technician, Joel, was here as promised, went right to work and completed the install, almost what seemed as effortlessly. Before he started, he asked a lot of questions, explained everything in detail and then provided options. Joel was/is exceptionally professional, skilled and friendly.

Everything was perfect. The technician was great and the owner Rick even came out to check on the job and followed up via phone as well. It couldn't gave gone better. I highly recommend them.
