Kenny Tree Inc

I called Kenny Tree and John came out to give me an estimate that same day. I did call a few other tree service companies, but ended up hiring Kenny Tree as John was very personable and seemed to know his business plus the company has very good reviews on Angie's List. A large crew (7 or 8 guys) showed up the morning of the appointment and got right to work. They removed a total of 13 large trees that were either diseased or growing too close to the house and our neighbor's fence. They also trimmed an apple tree along with a plum that was always growing over our garage and damaging the shingles. Lastly, they trimmed all the overhanging branches along our very long driveway. All the tree branches were chipped and hauled away. The crew worked very fast and everything was done by noon including clean-up. My driveway was actually cleaner after they finished than it was before they started the work. Next time I need tree work I will definitely just call Kenny Tree again and not even bother calling anyone else.

the crew worked quickly and very cleanly. they took great care in bringing down the trees so they didn't damage my driveway. Before leaving they removed all other debris and blew off the driveway. I will Kenny Tree service again.

Joseph came out to bid this job and he was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. His bid was the lowest of the 4 bids we received, from companies that were all on the Angie's website list of tree companies. Kenny called to schedule this job and Kenny Tree Inc was able to get this job scheduled quicker than any of the other tree companies. They estimated that the job would take about four hours and all of the other companies thought it would be an all day job. They came on the date and time they had scheduled. The entire crew was professional, hard working and very competent. They did an excellent job that was completed in the time frame they had estimated. There was no damage to anything around the tree that was taken down. The fence, shed and shrubs were protected during the removal of this tree. The clean up was excellent. All of the wood was removed, even though they did have to come back to pick up some of the wood they couldn't fit in the first day, as there was just so much wood. When they took the remainder of the wood they again cleaned everything up and overall did a fabulous job start to finish. We would absolutely recommend this company to others and use them again ourselves if we ever needed any other tree removal or other tree services.

Awesome! First and foremost, I am impressed with the attention to detail and safety. An old fence post holder at the base of the tree was carefully marked so that no one would trip on or over it. As mentioned above, to avoid high voltage power lines, each branch was cut and carefully lowered to the ground with a rope. To avoid a fifty page essay, the facts are these: 1. The work was done on time and on budget 2. The crew was friendly, informative, thorough and obsessed with safety--theirs and mine 3. The crew was meticulous. The yard was cleaner when they left than it was before they started. 4. I got a great deal and a great price I will use Kenny Tree, Inc., again.

All the above work was completed in one day. Everything - although a very large complicated hazardous job - went smoothly and efficiently. Crews were superimpressive to watch, nice guys, experienced, competent, and meticulous about details. It took us several months of back and forth to figure out which options were best for us. During this time Ken?s arborist, John, came out to the property several times, as did Ken. When we signed the contract, we were confident in our decisions and they have proved to be good ones. We could not have gotten there without all the preliminary work Ken and John were willing to do. We have worked with Kenny Tree many times over the last nine years or so. Over time Ken?s company and crews have gotten better and better. His arborist is a gem and his crews the best. I could not recommend them more highly for everything from preventive work to storm clean-up to regular maintenance to special situations. Ken can handle it all. I can assure you we will be using them again. Note: The price was a package price.

The appointment was at 1000, but they didn't arrive until 1430. They did call twice to tell me they would be late, but I could have easily put in a full day of work instead of using leave to be home. The foreman/arborist, who provided the quote, did not stay on site and was very abrupt when he showed up before his crew. The crew was very quick to get to work and helpful in explaining how to keep my trees healthy. I was surprised that the boss came by later to inspect the work before taking payment.

I appreciate, out of all the providers I had give me estimates on this cottonwood, they were the only ones to give me a written estimate. They were very professional. 4 men came and worked together to remove the top part of this tree in about 2 hours. The left over snag/stump is about 20 feet. They cut the trunk so it angles back, they makes it blend in with the other trees around it. I would hire them again,

Getting a hold of the bidder and scheduling were a little difficult. We were able to schedule the bid quickly and we were impressed by his knowledge of trees. He was helpful and professional. It did take us a about a month to schedule the actual removal. Since our job was small, they were looking to book the removal without a ton of notice (twice they called the day before). But, we had a series of days that worked for us, which eventually they landed on. Not ideal, but honestly, our schedule is difficult, and this is a 1/3 day job. On the day of removal the team of 7 men came out on time (15 minutes early, actually) and removed the trees between 8 & 10:30. It was amazing to watch them work. I have amateur experience with tree removal, and I can say this team was amazingly efficient and safe compared to the work I did. The team lead climbed one tree, and the most experienced climbed the cedar (30 years -- he was a machine!) They chipped the wood in place (our request) and they left the firewood rounds (our request), which lowered the bid about $200. The team, to a man, thanked us "for the work" and were polite. Sure, they're tree guys, so they were smoking while filling their chainsaws with gasoline, but they also dangle from 50' in the sky while swinging a chainsaw, so it takes a certain kind of person to be very good at that work. They managed to drop two trees worth of wood between fruit trees, a garage, and a house, without hitting anything. The team cleaned up well afterwards, including the roofs, and then they were off to job #2 of 3 for the day. I have much respect for this group, and would highly recommend Kenny Tree to anyone.

Kenny Tree Service is great. The folks are very nice and professional, and they made it clear that they were there to do a great job and for me to be totally satisfied. Also, the price was good...very competitive. Will definitely use them again!

After getting several quotes, we picked them because their price matched the others, and they had a crew in the area including two ISA-certified arborists. The arborist John Lewis was at my house within 30min after responding to my inquiry on Angie's List and his advice matched the recommendations the others made. The earliest the competitors could be out for the work was April 14th. Once I agreed to the work, the rest of the crew was there shortly after and they went to work quickly and efficiently. All of the crew was friendly & professional. Even the EVIL Berbis bush (imagine a giant cluster of hypodermic needles THAT LIVES) was tackled with gusto and razed to the ground. All the trees look great and they did a excellent job cleaning up. I would definitely recommend Kenny's Tree Service.

It went very well. After receiving the initial estimate, I asked for it to be adjusted as I removed some tree trimming service. This was done acceptingly and quickly. As I approved, the crew was able to be scheduled almost immediately. The work was done exactly as described, the large Oak was tricky as it was hanging over the back fence into two other of my neighbors yards and safely taken out. The clean up was done nicely and the wood piled in a corner as described. The Pine tree in the front was a haul away cleanup and that was also done to my satisfaction. I do recommend Kenny Tree to anyone looking for quality tree removal work.

We received an initial estimate for tree removal that was reasonable, but still not in budget. After being told we could have the service re-quoted for the cutting of the trees, but leaving the wood for us to remove, we asked that they do that. By the time we heard back from them, we had already received three other quotes and scheduled the service with another company.

They did a very good job. They removed the tree and stump. Luis is the foreman, and he was very professional and I really liked their service. I would definitely give them a call if I needed service.

I would definately use them again. Wish I had done this years ago.

Joseph came out and did our estimate and was part of the crew that did the work too. He was super responsive, knew his stuff and did a great job of earning our business without being pushy at all. We brought out 3 A-graded companies and Kenny tree was both very price competitive and we felt drafted up the best plan for what we needed done. When we were ready to sign, they got us scheduled really quickly. They brought out a bunch of guys, the work went really fast and they all seemed to communicate well with each other and it was all like a well oiled machine. They took care to be sure we were satisfied before they left, listening to our thoughts on what we wanted done, and they were careful and considerate on the property. The trees were close to a bunch of stuff that we were worried could get damaged by falling tree sections but these guys were obviously seasoned pros and nothing got damaged at all. One example, the other companies we brought out told us a plant sitting right next to one of the trees pretty much was unavoidable and didn't stand a chance, so we assumed it wasnt going to make it, but to our surprise it was totally untouched at the end of it all. Highly recommend these guys to anyone.

John came out and walked most of my 5 acres for what he would consider to be trees that could fall on their own over the next few years. He very patiently showed me all of the issues as well as why they were candidates for removal. I then got an estimate from another company for roughly the same work. Their estimate was about 25% higher. Ken called the next morning and offered a slight discount if I would go ahead with the work the following day. The crew came in and accomplished all of the work I wanted that same day. They were very professional and friendly. They allowed me to change a couple things as the work progressed and completely cleaned up before leaving. Was very impressed with the work they did and would recommend them to anyone.

I called to get a bid and someone answered and was not interested in taking any info over the phone. He asked me to fill out the online form and someone would contact me within a day or two. No one ever called. Not a very professional office and certainly bad customer service.

Provider never appeared the next day. After I called I found out that they were not going to be here. First call I left them a message. No response. Second call they finally answered and told me that they were on a job that turned out to take more time than expected. Which normally would be no problem. But I had to call them to find this out.. John then made arrangements to be here this morning at 9:00am. It is now 10:00am and no one has shown up or even called to give me an update. I tried calling John twice, no answer, so I left him a message that if they could not be here to forget about servicing my tree. While I was writing this review John finally called and gave me some story that he couldn't get ahold of his men in the area to find out if they were done with the job. He could of called me and let me know of any possible changes as I would of been somewhat good with that. This is a case of not keeping the customer informed and making appointments. The conversation ended with me wishing him a Merry Christmas and told him not to get in touch with me in the future.

They did a super job. It was a difficult job. They blew off the sawdust from my neighbor's roof after the job and also cleaned the debris from my yard.

Kenny called back the same day and came out the same day of original call to give a bid. He said he could do the work the next day in the afternoon. I agreed to all and he showed up as promised. His crew was about 5-6 guys and Kenny showed up to make sure all went as planned. One of his crew members shook my hand thanking me for the work. Nice touch!

It went very well. They were able to come out. I kind of called them on the spur of the moment and they came and did it. It was great. I am very happy with it. They are very responsive. When I called them, they called me back the next day. I called them in the evening. They said they could be out that day. The pricing was reasonable for what they did.

It was a small job and they were able to work us in very quickly. The crew showed up while we were at work and moved things out of the way, cut 4 of the trees down cleaned up all the branches and left the wood for us. We called back because of one tree was left. Kenny and his crew came right out and finished the job. They were very professional and helpful. If I have any more trees to be worked on I will be calling Kenny tree inc

Got 4 bids and Kenny's was right on. With the Angie's List discount he ended up being the best price and he had the best solution for where the tree was positioned with the neighbors and surrounding landscaping. They took extra care with pulling the the limbs and rounds from the back yard to the front where they had the trucks as to not scratch the neighbors house and ruin any fencing, landscaping, or grass by using sheets of plywood to work on or use as protection. The crew was right on time, they sent a large crew, and everyone was very professional and started immediately. They were in and out within only a couple of hours, much quicker than expected. Besides a little sawdust and the stump you wouldn't have known them or the tree were ever there as the cleanup was great.

It went very well. The crew called and showed up when scheduled. They set to work right away, very efficient. The crew was always looking for something to do. About 1/2 way thru the job another crew showed to lend a hand. I would defiantly hire them again.
