It was an excellent experience in every way! The crew was well qualified, professional, timely, kind and courteous. They did a wonderful job crowning two trees and cutting two others. I highly recommend this service. I believe that Having a certified arborist doing the actual job, resulted in a remarkable job.

Perfectly. I called and they came out to look over the trees and my property within 2 days. They were more than willing to give me multiple estimates on the work (one for just the Japenese plum trees, one for only trimming the cypress trees, one for full removal and stump grinding). Once we agreed on the price I called and we set up a day for them to come out and do the work. They worked with me and my schedule as well as accommodated our neighbor with which we shared the property line. They came out in the morning and had everything but the grinding done within a day. My wife and I and our neighbors are very happy with the work done and the professionalism we experienced working with Kenny and his crew. I would not hesitate to hire them again and I'll be recommending them to anyone I know who needs work done.

Working with Kenney Tree was a pleasure starting with our initial meeting to solicit their bid through to the completion of the job. While not quite the cheapest, they offered the most value and professionalism of the tree services I contacted. Details of the job were clearly explained, they assisted in my getting the necessary permits, and at the end the job site was left cleaner than when they started, We are extremely happy with their service and will use them again, no questions asked.

We got a quote from them but decided to go with someone else. Their prices were a bit on the high side for us but they were responsive and professional. Unless their prices change I would most likely not use them in the future.

Work not done...they never got back to me after multiple calls to them.

On time, polite, good communication, good clean up. Conservative approach to tree maintenance. John is clearly an experienced and knowledgeable arborist. Andrew, Mike and the rest of the crew worked hard and in an organized manner that can only come from experience.

Five guys arrived on time and promptly climbed the trees to start limbing. They are very careful to drop limbs and large tree trunk pieces in safe places. They are very aware of each other. They constantly clean up as they progress. Afterwards every bit was loaded and transported off the property. They did this work in 2 hours. Amazing crew. This price included the haul away fee. I considered it very reasonable based on past tree work I had done.

Two crews (including an arborist) worked the job until well past sunset. They removed every last bit of wood and clean-up after themselves. I would highly recommend them.

Amazing! So efficient, fun to watch them work, and attention to detail. Kenny's workers were so happy! Although they worked fast, were careful, and obviously skilled, they also had fun together while working. Lots of smiles, jokes, fist bumps etc. Many of the men even have nicknames. I felt like I should have paid for the show as well as the work. : )

We contracted Kenny Tree to remove 2 backyard trees and grind the stumps. Process begins with an estimator who visits your property to assess the situation and provides a written quote on the spot. After you agree, a date for the job will be scheduled shortly thereafter. The tree removal is in 2 phases. First, a highly skilled professional carefully removes the tree by scaling and sectioning; there was no damage from falling branches or logs. Next, the crew collects and shreds all the branches and removes the wood if you require. Kenny also went the extra distance by cleaning some deadwood from another tree on our property while the crew were working on the main job. They also removed an old large stump from the property. If you have a need for tree services, Kenny Tree Inc comes highly recommended.

Kenny Tree Inc. - I contacted John to get a bid for removing the tree, upon our first meeting, he handed me an insurance and liability form and requested that I get the city's permit to proceed with the job. It was a positive impression on how this company conducts business. On the day of the job, a crew of eight people showed up to do the job. All, without exception, were friendly and professional worked well together. The tree to be removed was about 2 feet next to the fence, at the end of the job, the fence was intact, the clean up crew left the area as clean as it was before they started. I highly recommend this tree removal company and will hire them again. Great job!!!

In a windstorm, a 50' Hemlock fell on our roof. I called Ken. He was working on another nearby job and immediately came out to access the situation. He told us he would be out either that day or the following one to take care of the tree. That afternoon Ken and his team arrived and quickly, carefully took down the tree. They took away all of the wood and cleaned up the hard perfectly! The following day the tree stump team arrived and took care of the stump. They also were very careful of the surroundings. We just couldn't be happier!! Ken and his team are absolute professionals! You can't go wrong by choosing Ken!!

What a painful experience it was with the owner, Kenny who must think he is King Trump or something. I think he thought he can push me around because I'm a little Asian or something. He picked the wrong Asian! He talked about an Indian guy in a derogatory way who lived nearby who eats goats as a joke when I first met him. He was so grouchy and egotistical when he came for the quote. He said he is tired but that's no reason to be arrogant and try to push me to do more work and make up my mind fast. I got upset and told him to leave and he left. But his worker, Joseph, called me later and told me Kenny won't come so let him do it after he is done with my next door neighbor the following day. So, I let him as Joseph was nice and apologized on behalf of Kenny. But Kenny showed up in the middle of work and I was upset. We were yelling at each other for about 30 minutes or more. I wanted him to leave. He was pushing my wife to spend another $300 because his crew has nothing to do after us. He was telling my wife that he would do more work for free on the tree that was already done....again, he want to show off his power to push his crew around and make them to climb the tree again ... to show he is a nice guy or something. I told him to stop this argument in front of our grandchildren 2 and 4 who were scared. He won't and he didn't care. He is a kind a guy who has to win all the arguments. I told him that I will call police to remove him from my property. He said NO as long as his crew is here because he is THE OWNER. He even threatened me to sue for verbal abuse. But I'm a Christian and I don't swear! It got really ugly but I can see that he saw I won't back down so he got his tail between his leg and finally left. But the crew was excellent ... but I had to give Kenny Tree Inc a big fat F for how he treated me, my wife and my small grandchildren. Oh, yea, he did kick my puppy for jumping on him too. My grandkids saw adults yell at each other for the first time and were scared. I am still mad about that. ... he thinks he is a big hot shot or something. I really felt bad for his crew who works exceptionally hard and take his abuse. My neighbor was getting rid of 5 trees so I thought I was doing him a favor to clean up my trees if he had time. I will never talk to him ever ... if he calls me or show up, I will call police. I won't hesitate. One more thing, he told my wife that we can pay in cash so that we don't have to pay sales taxes. I paid in check with all the taxes paid. And I tipped the workers well ... my gripe is not for them. Nice to be able to voice my feelings thru Angie's List.

I am extremely pleased with the service these gentlemen provided. Joseph was the lead on this and worked with me from the get-go. He responded promptly to my request for a bid, arrived on time the day he said he would, and then showed up with his team on time on the day scheduled. From bid request to work was maybe 10 days. He gave me a chance to get it done sooner also. Very timely service! I met most of the guys and they were all super friendly, certainly professional. They got here about 7:15 am and were out of here in a couple of hours. I never saw one of them standing around even once. They had multiple guys climbing up in the trees with saws and were about as busy a team of beavers as you could ever imagine. They also had a ground crew constantly picking up the branches and feeding them into a big chipper. There were maybe 8 guys there? I would also repeat that Kenny Tree Service took out some smaller trees that I had planned to do myself to save a little cash. Joseph said it wasn't a big deal and he would throw them in for no extra charge. Bravo! All of this for just over $1,000 including tax. This was by far the lowest bid (3 bids total) ...and I couldn't imagine better service for the price. I will be calling them again for my tree needs.

After leaving a message with their voicemail on a Monday afternoon, a representative from Kenny Tree called me back the following Tuesday. He was able to come by to provide an estimate mere minutes after calling me, which was great. Estimate was performed in a very professional manner, and although the price was slightly higher than the first quote I received from another provider, I selected Kenny Tree due to their Angie's List reviews and their greater professionalism. My contact from Kenny Tree called me on Wednesday afternoon to say that his crew would come on Thursday to perform the work. Well, Thursday came and went and no crew showed - the person from Kenny Tree called around 3:30 on Thursday to tell me the crew would be there on Friday - their Thursday job had run long. Honestly, that was fine with me, as Friday worked better for my schedule, too. No harm done. The crew came to my house on Friday, rolling at least six people deep - maybe even seven. They got right to work removing the trees from my backyard, and did so quickly and efficiently. They put up plywood along my house edge to keep from damaging my house or fence while removing the limbs, and did a great job cleaning up afterwords. All in all they were in and out in well under two hours. For what I paid, I feel like I got a great deal. No headaches, quick turnaround, very professional service, and reasonably priced.

* 2015, June - we used Kenny Tree last summer to take down a 110' Fir, round measured at 57" across. * 2016, December - many of us lost tree in the big wind storm and we were one of them. A massive limb split from our huge Maple tree and took out part of our neighbors fence. The remaining Maple would have to come down. I immediately thought of Kenny Tree. Word in our nighborhood was "Kenny Tree is still the best". We have now used Kenny for both our pre planned and emergency needs; we will continue to recommend the company.

The crew arrived and James, the gentlemen that originally gave us the quote, walked them around describing exactly what we wanted. They got to work and quickly knocked it out. This was towards the end of a blustery, rainy, fall day. I was very impressed with the quality of work and work ethic. Ken, the owner, also arrived at our home and walked around with me checking the work and made sure I was happy. James gave us a fair and HONEST quote for the work and the crew did a great job. My wife and I are very pleased and we'll be sure to use Kenny Tree again and recommend them to our friends.

As a certified arborist, John knew his stuff and was very helpful in the initial walk-around, explaining what each tree was and how to correctly prune to minimize damage and maximize the right kind of Spring growth while maintaining good appearance. He identified a couple trees with disease/decay issues. The work crew is big and they were quick. We have a fairly large yard with a lot of trees/foilage and they were done in a couple hours. Would recommend.

We had the job completed in expert fashion even before many of the other tree services could schedule an appointment for the estimate! We grew the Maple from a seedling and have enjoyed it for many years, and now it looks better than ever. We were very pleased with every aspect of the work.
