Description of Work: They cut down a 40 foot Birch tree. They had to take down 5 wires in order to do it. They were courteous and quick. Sadly, it was $1400. But no other complaints.

Description of Work: They removed several branches from two fir trees. We have no complaints, and would hire again.

Description of Work: One crew pruned 3 flowering cherries. The other crew removed 2 trees, and raised the skirt on another one. Both crews, and the arborist, did a great job, and the work crews cleaned up well after themselves.

Description of Work: Skirt up five Alders that were shaggy and drooping. Go up ~25 feet on all hanging branches. Reduce height on Cypress & Arborvitae hedges by 3-1/2 to 4 feet, rounding the tops of the arborvitae leaving no flat tops. The trimmers were polite and professional. They trimmed other branches not on the list that I requested. They cleaned up beautifully and left no residue.

Description of Work: Someone came around the neighborhood handing out flyers so I called for an appointment. Gary came over and looked at my yard for over an hour. He gave me a bid of $5000 per day for a small crew to cut trees down and trim trees. He presented his bid as being 50% off. | |I got 2 other bids from other companies and both were less than half of his bid! When Gary called me to follow up I told him about the lower bids and he was very rude to me on the phone and he made excuses and said he didn't understand the job. Then he called back to say he could lower his bid. | |I didn't trust the Evergreen guy and felt like he tried to take advantage of me. I ended up hiring Elite Tree Service instead and I couldn't have been happier with their excellent work and service.

Description of Work: First someone knocks on your door and pushes the service. Then you schedule with an arborist who advises on what should be done and writes up a contract. Arborist agreed on schedule but forgot which day, so rescheduling required. Crew was very professional but uninformed of what was to be done except in general terms; since the job required that they decide which tree limbs were diseased or potentially problematic and the arborist had only generalized, not sure of the value of what they did. But they worked very quickly and cleaned up behind themselves, leaving without asking for review. Had to call accounting because the estimator had written the street address, but not the mailing address so we didn't receive a bill. Office staff was very professional, friendly, helpful. Overall this might work for someone with a lot of volume of trees and explicit instructions but not ideal for us.

Description of Work: Took down and hauled away two medium sized trees from back yard. Pruned another medium sized tree on side of house. Excellent clean-up and stump removal. Pruning done to our satisfaction by a professional arborist.

Description of Work: They did crown thin on a couple, and cabled another, cleaned out deadwood on several, got the horrible wisteria out of a cedar. Smooth and easy, cleaned up afterwards.
