Evergreen Tree Care

Description of Work: Evergreen came out and cut down 3 locust trees that were sick. They were on time and fast. They cleaned up the yard and organized the large rounds to be off the lawn. They checked with me on how important a nearby shrub was. I asked that they be careful and they were. |My only regret was not staying to check on the completion of the work. On the last tree they didn't cut all the rounds to be near 16" as agreed. I rented a log splitter and couldn't split these logs as 13 were left between 20" to 27". I had to call 6 times over the course of 3 months. Each time I was promised a return call. Finally I decided to email instead. Someone responded Via phone and came out the next day to cut the logs for me. I would hire them again for sure as the price was good and the work was good. The follow through when something went wrong was bad but this is probably rare.

Description of Work: 1.Removed two large leaning trees (Dogwood & Marshall Ash). 2. "Windsailed" five huge firs. 3. Cut out dead wood on four other large firs up about 30' 4. Cut away second, dead trunk on Mountain Ash. 5. Pruned back huge laurel hedge. 6. Topped the Ginko. 7. Cut the trunks into fireplace lengths for us. 8. Cleaned up the yard and drive very well. We were extremely pleased with them and it was worth every penny to us.

Description of Work: I have left them 2 voice messages, an email through their website and request for scheduling through Angie's list and never heard a response.

Description of Work: The provider showed up 20 days before we agreed to date for the service and did not contact the home owner before they showed up, even though they agreed to do so. Work was performed without the home owner present. They did not do all the work defined in the contract and performed work on scrubs/trees which was not agreed too on the contract. In addition, they did a poor job on the clean up. The services provided were way over priced for the work performed.

Description of Work: Excellent! Nineteen different tree stems were removed, ranging in size from small vine maples to mid-sized madrone and birch. Two additional larger Douglas Fir were canopy pruned. These trees were surrounded by other plantings which we wished to protect. There was much less damage to existing plantings than we expected given the volume of work. The sawyers worked very efficiently and clean-up was excellent. While there was a bit of minor damage to an existing out-building, the sawyer showed us the damage and Evergreen took care of it to our satisfaction without delay. Description of Work: Transformed my terribly overgrown 1/3 acre yard into a park: cut down several alders and maples, pruned and simplified five fruit trees that were in various stages of neglect, thinned the crowns on two big trees.

Description of Work: Five guys to cut down two dead trees, wind-sail three BIG Doug firs, take out a holly bush, trim seven rhodies, trim a weeping cherry tree, trim three maples and clean up (really well). All-in-all a very good job! Brett, our sales person, was at the job in the beginning and came back to inspect the work and seek our satisfaction . He got it.

Description of Work: Called on the 12th to tell them that my wife wasn't feeling well and that she had a doctors appointment and we wouldn't be available for our 1:00 appointment for an estimate and could we reschedule for tuesday at the same time. Whomever I talked to said fine. On the 13th someone showed up at 11:30 (not 1:00 as originally scheduled). Told him that we had called the office and rescheduled. He said fine and left. On friday we had a voice mail from Chris saying that we weren't at home when the estimator came and that maybe we should find someone else to do the estimate that was more flexible about appointments. Called them monday and canceled Tuesday's appointment. Called another tree service and they did the work.

Description of Work: This company is out to screw the unsuspecting public. Very high prices for falling trees. They wanted $1500 for what would take about 3 hours.

Description of Work: Trimmed all trees on property. Wished the shaping was cleaner cuts on the smaller trees, thats all. However, everything looks great. Crew was nice too.

Description of Work: I couldn't see my back fence because the trees were so overgrown. They came out and cleared them away. They also took 6 trees down.
